POE Extender additional 100 meter distance
PoE Extender is a cost effective way to extend the Ethernet network range beyond 100m, delivering both data and power to network devices such as WLAN Access Points and Network Cameras up to a distance of 200m while complying with IEEE PoE and Data standards.
1 RJ45 input port
The green indicator light is always on and the yellow indicator flashes. This means that it is working properly.
2 port POE output
One network cable to connect one/two/four POE IP devices
Plug & play
Powered via the PoE input, Plug and Play. Automatically detects and protects PoE equipments from being damaged by incorrect installation.
Note:
1. This Extender is not a PoE Switch, it can not work without powered from PoE Switch/PoE injector/PoE NVR.
2. Please don’t place any heavy thing on the PoE extender;
3. To prevent the water seeping into the extender, please keep PoE extender away wet environment;
4. Suggest to use PoE extender indoors. When installing the extender in outdoor please install it in a waterproof place.
The PoE Extender features one 30W PoE input port and two 15W PoE output port, running one cable to connect to 2 POE IP devices.
It can forward both Ethernet and PoE power for 1 terminal equipment via Cat5,Cat5e,Cat6,Cat6e,UTP cable(less than 120m).
Supports 10,100Mbps data rates, comply with IEEE802.3at and IEEE802.3af Standard. Provides 802.3af power levels when powered by any 802.3at source.
The POE extender can extend the range of the Ethernet network by an additional 100m (328 ft). Extended PoE installation range by additional 100M. The maximum is 6 pieces, 700 meters (2296ft) when deployed in cascade.
The PoE Extender cost effective installation – does not require local power and other configuration required. Powered via the PoE input, Plug and Play. Automatically detects and protects PoE equipments from being damaged by incorrect installation.
Customers say
Customers like the stability of the network interface controller adapter. They say it’s a solid product and provides a more stable connection than using Wi-Fi for Smart TV. However, some customers have mixed opinions on performance.

It works!
I had an IP camera on a cat-6 cable that was 520′ long. The camera would start to boot up but was only receiving 3.5 watts and needs 5.5w to operate. I found this non-powered mid-span repeater and for the price, thought it was worth a shot. I skeptically spliced the device into my cable (RJ45 Mod ends) about 225′ into the 520′ cable. When I reconnected the cable, I saw the lights on the REVOTECH light up and by the time I could get the scissor lift over to the camera (it’s mounted 35′ up) it was up and operational. I have already purchased more of them for another camera at this same site and for future use. FYI…I was connected to a POE switch at the headend that supplied 25w. The camera auto-negotiates the wattage it needs, in this case 5.5w. The camera tester (Trend networks RV171000) indicated I had 12.5w of available power at the far-end. If the cable passes all tests but fails on length, this will probably fix your issue.

Functions like POE Powered switch
Gigabit version – 2 port. Acts like POE powered 2 port gigabit switch- with POE passthru. I haven’t used it for POE power (on the outputs) , but have not doubt it will function as such. I used POE power switch on one end and (this) POE extender on other side of single ethernet line to avoid running another ethernet cable. I’m getting full duplex gigabit speeds on both ports from the extender. No need to plug in the extender, which is convenient , since it uses the POE power input. Device is very compact. Overall, nice way to avoid running more ethernet cables if you >already< have POE power to input to extender.

Unreliable with Downstream DC Splitters
I have an application with a PoE camera, as well as a cable going to a sprinkler box having a 12v DC PoE splitter (which powers 2 sonoffs and 4 motorized ball valves), so very little idle current. Even with no DC devices, this extended will reliably power the camera, but not reliably power the 12v splitter. And I have a second one that does the same thing (seems worse when it’s above 80° out). So this isn’t reliable for powering even low current 12v DC Splitters.

Works for my needs as a POE powered 2 port switch
I bought one of these because I only ran one LAN cable to a TV location and realized I needed 2 connections – one for the smart TV and one for the TiVO box. I only used POE power to power this splitter. Both devices are just Ethernet and donât require POE power. Cheaper than installing a switch and using another outlet.Seems to work fine. More stable connection than using the Wi-Fi for SmartTV. I want to keep Wi-Fi bandwidth free for phones, tablets and laptops.

Easy to use but appears a little light weight for outdoor use.

Works with Reolink system. 5 stars.
Finally, I found a POE extender that actually supports my Reolink POE cameras. Now I can add four more POE cameras without buying a new NVR.

This 2 port PoE extender works great. I only had 1 cat5e wire drop to location the needed 2 PoE IP security cameras. This PoE extender allows me to power both cameras and receive both 4K video streams. Just plugged it in and it worked. Be mindful of the power requirement you need from each port.
