Works
Telling alexa to turn light on and off is so nice. Hubby has sensitivities to light and being able to adjust the brightness is a big plus. Also no reaching to turn the switch. Would definitely buy again.

Defective
No matter how you set it. Noise from phone or other devices playing sound will drive you nuts. Barely responds to the actual clap
Hannah Niemeier –
Works well
Works great and easy to install but pretty sensitive with phrases or it could just be my voice ð

Sounds other than clapping will turn off/on
works well for those hard to reach lamps. But. if any sound is almost the same 3 times in a row it will trigger these to turn off or on like a dog barking, knock at the door, even someone laughing. So that can be annoying/amusing.

I put one in my bedside table lamp, clapped three times, and it works.
You have to turn the lamp ON and then clap 3 times to turn it off. Then I clapped three times to turn it back on just to check it both ways. Worked the first time for me. ~ I bought these bulbs instead of the Clapper because I have an old house with far fewer outlets than newer houses, and while we’ve updated some to grounded outlets, we haven’t done all of them. If the clapper requires a grounded outlet, it could be a problem for me here. This lamp is across the room from the doorway into the bedroom, and I’m tired of navigating a dark room to turn on the bedside lamp there after dark.

Clapper lite bulb.
Works good, but I couldn’t unscrew the top like it said to stop the blinking from blinking. But mostly it’s fine. Not sure how long the blub lasts though.

Light bulb was hard to use. Didnât turn on or off as advertised.
Very hard to use. Didnât turn on when I clapped then when I finally got it on the bulb shut off leaving me in a dark room. So many directions with a bulb that should be as advertised. Sent it back right away.

Doesn’t work as advertised.
It turns on and off but not very easy. You have to clap multiple times to get it to response. It additionally come on it self in the middle of the night waking me up.
