The most comfortable and balanced headphones I own
A friend turned me onto these. Always thought AIAIAI were DJ or lifestyle but seems they also make some pretty good studio gear. Have been super impressed with them – hereâs my take:Pros:- Insanely comfortable – lightweight but not cheap feeling by any means. Ear cushions are probably most comfortable Iâve ever tried (I’d say my ears are prob medium). – Very balanced sound profile – never feel like Iâm getting anything too artificial (over bearing bass) on these. Also seem to be good on the ears – am wearing mine for hours without any noticeable fatigue. Sound quality is excellent. – Appreciate that you can swap out the ear cushions and that the ones on these are such good quality. My last headphones started to get that flaky skin which gets all over you! Really like that I can just swap out the cushions if I ever need to without having to trash the headphones. – Left and right cable inputs – sometimes I like to switch this up. When working out my audio interface I need to run to my right, whereas I have my synth output to my left. Great feature to be able to switch the cable either sideCons: – My only gripe is that I had to assemble these myself. I kind of feel that the unboxing could have be a little more âhigh endâ. Not going to deduct any stars though as I guess this is part of AIAIAIâs modular approach but still think unboxing could be slightly improved. In summary, extremely comfortable and surprisingly well balanced headphones with a sturdy build and all in all extremely happy with these. With the replaceable ear cushions hoping to be using them for many years to come!

Absolute best for music production
These might be the most comfortable and are definitely the most detailed sounding headphones Iâve ever owned, and the build quality of these feels top notch to me. I use them mostly for music production (Pro Tools and occasionally Ableton Live) and I can definitely say the sound profile on these is stunning – so much detail and really well balanced. Hadnât heard of AIAIAI but heard good things from a friend and when I saw they’re Danish I figured Iâd give them a shot (love my Dynaudio BM5âs). I’d originally purchased these as a back up for a slightly more expensive pair I own but can honestly say, Iâm finding these much more useful for producing as they sound less artificial to me. Also, I seem to be able to wear these for long sessions without my ears or head hurting – obvs a big plus. Highly recommended! The Danish know what theyâre doing!

Quality build, balanced audio
First of all, I’ve used these for a year and I can say they are a 10/10 on comfort/usability and durability. I often game for hours on end and no part of the headphones cause me issue or discomfort. Also, AIAIAI has a whole modular line based around the TMA-2 line of headphones which lets you mix and match parts, if you go to their website. These are closed back, so they dampen outside noise, but don’t have active noise cancelling, which is fine for me.If you’re looking for something like Beats headphones bass levels, don’t get these. These are meant to have a balanced frequency response. The bass is clean and balanced, but not boosted.AIAIAI do offer a modular upgrade to the ear pieces that come on these, I’m probably going to upgrade to those or something wireless.I love the eco-conscious and modular philosophy of this company. I’ll definitely buy their products again.

An incredible update
I have been using the Audiotechnica m40x for a couple of years, sadly I had to repair them using 3D printed parts a couple of times (it’s really difficult to get replacement parts) because the hinge is an extremely fragile part. Finally I decided to let them go and buy some headphones that surely won’t give me problems with their integrity, if any part fails I can simply exchange it and I love that.I find them quite comfortable and the audio quality is excellent. If you are looking for good quality and durable headphones, I personally think this is your best option.

Excellent studio headphones!
Very comfortable. Sound great, far better in all categories compared to the expensive Audio Technica models I’ve tried. Get these, you want regret it!

Feels cheap and light
Adjustability is good. Building a modular headphone seems cool, but it’s done in such a way that leaves you with something that feels cheap. The noise cancellation on it sucks. Any cheap pair of headphones outperforms it.Came with a nice cable, though.

Stock version very flat
I had a more expensive pair of reference headphones for studio use, and while the sound was pristine, if anyone else was talking it would be a distraction because you could hear everything around you as well as the music. Also, with open back, the music can be heard by others around you, which is bad for vocalists, but great for drummers or bands recording. The Aiaiai closed back studio cans provide the same flatness needed for mastering, but also provide isolation needed for no distractions. If you change to the regular over the ear pads, you will get a solid casual listening experience with them that can rival my Beats Studio Pro cans. Having modular headphones is a game changer. You can get multiple types of headphones with just a few part changes.

Perche’ e’ tutto cosi’ distorto?Sembrano cuffie molto economiche per 20 euro.Sono estremamente deluso 🙁
