Amazfit GTR Mini: Your Ultimate Fitness Companion with Long-Lasting Battery
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Amazfit GTR Mini Smart Watch, and I must say that I’m thoroughly impressed with its features and performance. First and foremost, the design of the watch is sleek and stylish, fitting comfortably on my wrist. It’s a perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality. One aspect that stood out to me was the wide range of health tracking features and reminders available on this watch. From monitoring my daily activities to providing insightful data on my sleep patterns, the watch excelled in helping me maintain a healthy lifestyle. The accuracy of the functions, including step counting and sleep tracking, seemed spot-on, giving me confidence in the data it provided. One of the standout features of the Amazfit GTR Mini is its exceptional battery life. Even with continuous use, the watch conserves power effectively, allowing me to go about my day without worrying about frequent charging. This is particularly useful during longer activities or trips where access to a charger may be limited.Although I haven’t tested the GPS functionality extensively, I believe it would be a valuable asset for outdoor enthusiasts. The inclusion of 5 satellite positioning systems promises reliable and accurate tracking, especially during runs or hikes. The overall user experience of the Amazfit GTR Mini is highly satisfactory. The accompanying app complements the watch seamlessly, offering detailed insights and customization options. The app’s interface is intuitive and user-friendly, enhancing the overall experience of using the watch.I was impressed by the accuracy of the SPOâ and heart rate monitoring features. During my use, I didn’t notice any significant variations in my heart rate readings, indicating the reliability of the watch’s sensors. While I haven’t tested the water resistance personally, the watch’s 5 ATM rating ensures it can withstand immersion in water up to a certain depth, adding to its durability and versatility. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Amazfit GTR Mini Smart Watch to anyone seeking a reliable and feature-rich device to monitor and improve their overall health. Its sleek design, impressive health tracking capabilities, long-lasting battery, and user-friendly experience make it a worthy companion for your fitness journey.

A Smartwatch that’s better than Fitbit
Last November I replaced my Fitbit Sense with the Amazfit GTR Mini, and I’m glad I did! I wanted a smartwatch that wasn’t bulky and huge and the GTR Mini fit my needs perfectly. This smartwatch works as advertised. The battery life is amazing. I’m getting a solid 8 days between charges and that’s when there is still about 28 percent left before charging! And that screen is bright and clear. The sensors and the apps function as they’re suppose to, from sleep to heart monitoring to workouts, all work fine. The Zepp app offers comprehensive data that is smart and understandable. I especially like the sleep app that somehow knows when I fall sleep or take a nap, true genius! The initial setup was not hard at all. After set up, it took me a few days to get to know my watch…and for my watch to know me! And when it comes to cost VS. value, the GTR mini truly excels. I’m very happy with my purchase.Update: It’s now 3 months since purchasing the Amazfit GTR Mini and everything still works great! I’ve never had reason to contact support. Mechanically, the watch itself is outstanding. And the apps, from steps to heart rate to blood oxygen to stress monitoring all perform as advertised. My old Fitbit Sense had real issues about disconnecting from bluetooth which was very annoying. Can’t remember how many times I had to perform Factory Resets. My GTR Mini is so much better in staying connected to bluetooth. And, if I do happen to leave my cellphone behind at home, the GTR Mini easily reconnects to my cellphone’s Bluetooth when I get back. BEST OF ALL: I’m still getting a solid 8 days between charges with the GTR Mini as opposed to the 4 days between charges with my old Fitbit Sense…and I still have about 28 to 29 percent battery left before charging. In closing, I would not hestitate in buying another Amazfit smartwatch. That’s my story (and I’m sticking to it)!UPDATE: 02/22/24Still haven’t had any issues with the watch, none whatsoever. The watch’s battery is now at 44% after 7 days of usage. I should add that I don’t fuss with the watch as much as I use to when it was new. So the time between charging is very much dependent on the owner’s fussing (with the watch) and the apps selected. Some apps use more battery, especially the apps that run all day. Furthermore, the watch’s bluetooth connection to my Android phone is far better than my old Fitbit Sense. And, when I don’t have my phone with me (which is most of the time) and the watch disconnects from the phone’s bluetooth, it always reconnects when I get back near my phone. As far as I can tell, it looks like the watch and phone stay connected for around 30 feet (dependent on what’s in between…walls, concrete, metal)BTW, I purchased a plastic and glass screen protector fits perfectly snug over the watch and is available on Amazon. This cover is OEM and the screen protector is excellent and completely eliminates any possible scratches on the watch’s screen and its case. And the screen protectors (2 in a box) are very inexpensive.Update: 5/4/24Watch is still working fine. The watch’s battery is still giving me 7 or 8 days between charges (I charge the watch when the battery falls below 30%). Charging time is about 2 hours. I really appreciate how thin and light weight the watch is. Seriously, sometimes I forget I am wearing it! The watch is running bluetooth 5.2 and remains connected to my Pixel phone as I walk throughout the house (I don’t carry my phone with me most of the time when I’m home).

I had not heard of Amazfit brand before, until my son bought one for his gf. You can gauge quality immediately from the website, which is nicely put together and nice graphics. These watches are hard to find to try in shops, so I wanted to try one. Immediately out the box you can see this is high quality, with nice touches like the engraved button control and high polish finish, plus high quality graphics. The setup out the box is uber-easy and it was up and running quickly. The Zepp app has lots of functionality and connects well to see any trails and maps in lots of detail. The watch is very light and low in profile, so you hardly know you are wearing it. The strap tucks in the strap and so doesn’t catch on clothing and easy to wear overnight for sleep tracking. The heart rate and blood O2 are impressive and if not absolute at least give trends and alerts. I used the watch for some mountain biking and hikes and it tracks nicely and accurate. I was concerned about privacy as one reviewer couldn’t find it on the Amazfit website, but its there and similar to Apple, Garmin etc. This smartwatch puts it ahead of the competition costing 2 or 3 x the price. I have had Samsung Watch5 (only works on Android), Garmin but I’m certainly impressed with this GTR Mini and its price, functions and battery life.
