Makes it easy to turn things on and off without getting up
I like these for various lamps and other electronic devices I have set up around the house that would need to be reset remotely or turned on or off without getting up. If I am laying on the couch and I am wanting to be lazy and take a nap it sure is nice to not have to walk across the room to go unplug my lamp and same goes to my lamp in my bedroom that I leave on some nights to use for a reading light, now I donât have to get up and get out of my comfortable position all ready for sleep. The app makes everything super easy to do from your phone. I did have a little bit of trouble getting the app to work when I first set everything up but eventually I got everything set up and have not had any issues since

ONCE YOU GO SMART HOME……
…..you’ll never go back!!!I started using smart plugs about 6 years ago and slowly started buying other smart home gadgets.Setup is very very easy! You’ll need to enable your BT for initial setup but once setup, you won’t need BT on.I LOVE that these plugs are compatible with SmartThings. I own a lot of Samsung devices so it’s convenient having one app, rather than having to download a million generic apps that never works. I wish other manufacturers would do this. I did read that the plugs are also compatible with Apple Home, Google Home and more. So that’s nice you get options.I don’t have any issues with the plugs staying connected. If the app is being a pain, it has nothing to do with the plugs. It’s just the app…and, what apps don’t have issues? Always make sure your firmware is up to date.⢠FORGET to shut something off? No more running back home to turn off that curling iron – just head to your app and control it from there!⢠GREAT for Seniors!!!!⢠TROUBLESHOOTING: If your plug is offline, try unplugging for 15 seconds and plug it backAND WAIT for it to reconnect > if that doesn’t work, you can try resetting your router > if that didn’t work then reset the plug which takes seconds > or uninstall then reinstall the app.MULTI-PLUG ADAPTER on SINGLE SMART PLUG: You can use a multi-plug adapter on one plug. I don’t recommend anything that uses a lot of power. I have a 3 plug adapter connected to one smart plug with some decorative lights.. I have in the past used a 6+ plug power surge strip, connected to a single smart plug when I had outdoor gathers and it worked fine but I’m no electrician and don’t know how safe it is for daily use.Overall I’m very satisfied with these smart plugs.Whether you’re a smahht home newbie or a smahhht home veteran, I do recommend purchasing!GREAT VALUE SET ⢠EASY BT SETUP ⢠GREAT CONNECTIVITY ⢠WORKS WITH SMART THINGS , ALEXA, GOOGLE HOME & APPLE HOME ⢠2.4GHz (NOT 5Ghz compatible) ⢠GIFTABLE ⢠GREAT FOR YOUR ELDERLY LOVED ONES

Very helpful
These plugs are amazing. I switched from the Best Buy brand after it got discontinued (and it was pretty awful). These plugs were extremely responsive and got great features. I constantly use them with my Google Home, through the Google Home app. I have used them outside in the cold and all over inside. Used the timers, schedules, and on-demand. I have not had any issues major issues. GREAT PLUGS!

Good smart plug…no bad for the price
I like that these are Matter enabled plugs. The newest Matter enabled devices are just a world apart from the previous generations (I have been using smart tech since the pre X-10 days). That said I was initially a little shocked that there was no app. I kept checking the box and instructions, double checked the listing – no app? Who has no app? These don’t. Now, I wish I had a little more control over things like forcing a software update BUT what I don’t need is ANOTHER app. I currently have 48 home automation apps. That’s not an exageration. On my iPhone: 5 full pages of apps, one page with 3 apps…not including my network management or other smart devices (like for the dogs feeders) that have other homes. If I added all of those in it would be easily closer to 60. Do I need another app? NO. It was odd but after I set the first one up I was like this is heaven. I have the plug in Google Home, it added JUST like a Google device and my firewall alerted me immediately when it hit the network. It was a cake walk to set these up and just as easy to add to automations or voice control them. I wanted to give this 5 stars but there are two things that prevented me from doing so. First, they’re only capable of handling 10a each so that limits what I can use them for. I can use them for a lamp but why? I have smart switches and smart bulbs so I’d prefer not to add a smart plug for a lamp if I don’t need to. Can’t use them for most small home appliances or devices so it’ll be more spot use than general use like the 15a or, if you can find one that’s reasonable, the 20a units. I may use them for things like my smaller network switches. The larger ones are all on an automated reboot schedule but the smaller ones require me to walk around pulling plugs so that’s another use case. Again, it’s an annoyance but most people are going to be just fine with 10a. Second, I think they’re a little pricey considering the 10a limitation. They’re not outlandish just a tad high. That all said, these will be useful for most of what you have at home – certainly lamps – they are easy to configure, don’t require ANOTHER app and are not absurdly priced. It’s worth it if you have the right use case.

Works Well
We needed these to be able to control the outdoor lighting and table lamp in the house to turn on when we are not home. The outlets were easy to connect to the app. We had to do them all at the same time, thought we could do them one by one but that did not work. We were having a hard time with the one we tried to connect in the living room, when I moved it into the dining room it worked. Note that you cannot connect them to a surge protector/extension cord, it has to be directly plugged into the outlet. So far so good.
