So had an issue with a keyboard I bought a few years ago. Amazon showed the keyboard as covered but when I called to make a claim they said it was for a paper shredder I bought in the same transaction. I explained no I bought this for the keyboard. They were able to go into the backend of the Amazon transaction and see I wasnât telling the truth and some error was causing them to only see the shredder. They offered me a refund via gift card once I returned the item. They provided the shipping label and once it was dropped off 2 days later I had an email with my gift card. The process was fairly smooth and worth the cost.

Purchased Asurion when I purchased a wireless keyboard. This purchase was the 2nd time I purchased a wireless keyboard and based on this previous experience, these keyboards seem to have issues with their batteries. This particular keyboard bit the dust after 19 months. Placed a claim online and followed the instructions for return of the device via UPS and received a gift card for the original price within 24 hours. Great service!

I bought the protection plan for 4 years and 3 years in, the item stopped working. I put in my claim, which was fast and easy. Shipped it back with the label they provided and had my money back, via Amazon gift card, within 3-4 days. Easy to load onto my Amazon account. I have many other items backed with Asurion because they do help out and are very easy to work with.

Most of the folks at Asurion are pretty easy to deal with, but some of them insist on putting your money on an Amazon Gift Card which doesn’t PLEASE me. That’s why I gave them ONLY 4 stars!!! I charged my purchase on a credit card and that bill has long since been paid!!!THIS IS NOT THE WAY A COMPANY SHOULD DO BUSINESS!!! I WANT MY MONEY!!! NOT A GIFT CARD!!! I WANT A CHECK SENT TO ME!!!After I wrote this, I called Asurion for the 3rd time. This last time, I got a very pleasant lady and she fixed my problem, and I am NOW going to be receiving a check!!!So, PLEASE beware that they do have that option!!! So, if you get one of their stubborn butt people on the line and he or she refuses to select that option, hang up and call back!!!I know 3 phone calls is a lot of phone calls, but it is worth my time to get my reimbursement sent to me via a check. Hey, if I could get them to refund my credit card, I would call 5 or 6 times!!!
