The BlackRapid Hybrid Breathe Camera Strap is designed be worn across a right-handed user’s body, draped from the left shoulder to the right hip. A connected camera can then rest upside-down along the right hip so that it can be quickly raised for use. This strap’s large, moisture-wicking shoulder pad can also accommodate a second, detachable webbing which is included so an additional camera can be connected and allowed to rest upside-down along the left hip. Additionally, the Hybrid Breathe Camera Strap is an effective option for larger-build photographers who intend to move quickly on flat or rugged terrain. The Hybrid Breathe further stabilizes an attached camera resting along the right hip when used with its included BlackRapid Brad Breathe Stabilizing Strap. The Brad Breathe secures this camera strap under the user’s left shoulder and prevents a camera resting along one’s right side from twisting. When camera movement along the wearer’s right side is less of a concern, the Brad Breathe is easy to remove. To attach to a camera or a lens, both of the BlackRapid Hybrid Breathe Camera Strap’s webbings feature a durable, brass and zinc-alloy CR-3 ConnectR locking carabiner. Also provided is a BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe for every carabiner. Each FR-5 FastenR Breathe creates a connection point using a camera or lens’s 1/4″-20 tripod mount and has a large, integrated D-ring for easy use with BlackRapid webbings that utilize a CR-3 ConnectR. The length of each webbing is adjustable from 36.0 to 63.0″ and measures up to 1.0″ wide. Spring-loaded bumper locks that can be slid up and down the length of the strap’s webbings make it especially easy to limit excess camera movement when using the Hybrid Breathe. By folding over a CR-3 ConnectR, a Lockstar Breathe prevents unintentional user contact with a CR-3 ConnectR that could cause it to accidentally unlock.

My go to sling for a 2-camera outing
I have a single sling version also from BlackRapid. I added the Hybrid version because it allows me to remove one side when needed. The Hybrid allows one camera weight to pull down vertically tucked under my left arm and the other camera hangs in a more traditional way near my right hip (like the Single version I own). The Hybrid is well balance and easy to manipulate with both cameras attached. One thing to mention about BlackRapid’s customer service, they are outstanding. My original Single strap had a safety clip (plastic) over the locking carabiner. The plastic safety cover cracked. The material has subsequently been improved. When I contacted BlackRapid for some warranty relief, they immediately responded and shipped me a couple replacements of the newer plastic material.

Comfortable
Surprised how much I like this system. I carry a large 180-600mm lens while hiking that is uncomfortable with a neck strap. This puts all the weight in the perfect spot on my shoulder and lets me take a wide angle camera. Also the cameras are fastened securely with multiple locks to keep the clip closed.

Good system for one or two APS-C cameras
I have two Sony a6400 cameras and sometimes need to carry both for photographing evens. I’ve carried my previous single a6000 on a cross-body sling and really like that method of carrying the camera instead of a conventional neck strap. When I moved to a two-camera setup, I initially was going to get the Double Breathe Harness (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01LFREKUM).However, I also often only need to carry one camera and the Hybrid Breathe looked like the better choice.Overall, I like this strap. The left side strap for the second camera is removable when I don’t need it. I’m 6’2″ about 230 lbs. and each strap is comfortable and adjustable so the camera grips can ride at hand level. I don’t use the Black Rapid tripod screw attachment for the locking carabiner. I use the OP/TECH Utility Loops (https://smile.amazon.com/OP-TECH-USA-Utility-Connector/dp/B000IN3RUE) on the left camera neck strap ring. This lets the camera hang grip down and I can ride it with my hand there .The only weakness so far is that even with the armpit strap, the harness occasionally rides up and tries to slide off the shoulder, especially when using only one camera. Also, when donning the strap, finding the armpit strap with my right and can sometimes be a struggle.

It slings 2 cameras an GETS OUT OF THE WAY
First off, yeah, this product is pricey. Itâs easily one of the most expensive accessories Iâve ever purchased professionally. HOWEVER, as a pro, I NEED my gear to simply work and never obstruct my process. This harness is easy to put on & adjust, gets out of your way immediately , and becomes part of your body and movements.Iâve tried a few of the promising, low-cost alternatives. I mean, who wouldnât want to spend under $20 for this solution. Except they were ALL clumsy, bulky, adorned with dubious hardware, and often acted like a spider web when attempting to take critical shots. Iâve missed key shots at events because of those other cheap harnesses! Thatâs why I quickly pulled the trigger to buy this one immediately. And wow, what a difference!! I challenge you to find a better solution. I think this may be the best on the market and is arguably worth the price to play. It is for me!

Solid setup
I have carried two bodies for sports shooting for several years. I always wore them on two Joby Sling Straps crisscrossing my torso. I liked having two bodies at my hip, but it could be a little uncomfortable and hard to manage at times. I looked at some other solutions, but being a larger man, the skinny strap solutions from the popular companies did not appeal to me. The wide strap on the Joby did not usually twist and never dug in to my body. I was convinced the newer offerings would do that. I also did not want leather as I shoot outside in the summer and would just soak it with sweat. Then I saw the BlackRapid hybrid and knew I had to try it. To have the comfort of only one cross strap and shoulder pad and the capacity for two pro bodies is perfect. This has become my primary strap even with one body. The second strap hangs under my left arm and does not bother me at all when it’s empty, so I just leave it on all the time. I also like the third strap which keeps everything on your shoulder. The quick-release clips are fantastic. I love leveraging the 1/4″ socket for my straps, but hated having to switch straps or bodies. Swapping bodies is so much easier now.All in all a pricy purchase for “a camera strap”, but well worth the money in my opinion.Lastly, I am a big guy and this fits me comfortably, mostly near the longest point of the adjustment straps.

OK, but not great
I always use two cameras during event photography and usually use two BlackRapid cross shots type straps. When I forgot one of my straps at a venue, but had another job coming up I thought why not just buy a new strap that holds two cameras. I’ve used this one a few times now, but don’t really like the handling of it: it’s not as easy to put on compared to using two single straps, taking one camera off messes with the balance and when you just want to take it off for short break you better take the cameras off first, etc. After getting my second strap back, I went back to my old setup with two cross shot single straps

I am a professional wedding photographer and I run my company by the name of Nitin Arora Photography. I use Canon mirrorless bodies with heavy RF lens. Since we shoot weddings it really get difficult to hold on to a body for long hours and after I purchased this belt, I am so comfortable and feel safe with my camera bodies. My body and hands feel relaxed. No stress on my neck and no backache as this belt makes the weight balanced and proportionate with the help of strap below the underarm. Great locks and attachments provided by Blackrapid. I am gonna invest soon in double strap now. Also make sure when you buy any product from Blackrapid, it should have a hologram of Nikita Distributors. Cheers!

He’s used it a couple of times so far, but with Christmas in the way he hasn’t really had much of a chance to get out & grab many good photographs as yet!Good quality, will definitely buy from this Company again!
