Very functional Bluetooth adapter to convert wired 3.5mm jack to wireless!
My 2013 car doesn’t have Bluetooth for audio and so I thought of trying this product. These were ready to go within seconds and functional product overall. I would recommend these for the price factor.
My 2 cents below:
Pros:
– Very functional product. Converts wired 3.5mm jack Aux port to Bluetooth wireless port
– Plug-n-play product and doesn’t need any driver installation
– Latest Bluetooth standards and capability
– Speed & responsiveness is as good as the inbuilt Bluetooth capability
– Connection doesn’t drop at all
– Tiny in size without any antenna and hence easy to handle
– Wide compatibility. Works on various devices
– Has an inbuilt rechargeable battery with long battery backup
– Reasonably priced in the competition
Cons:
– None at this price point & the functionality

Unfortunately, it didn’t work as well as others.
This is an update to my original message. The message below was the original. I was offered a refund for the transceiver. I suggested they send me another as maybe there was some glitch in the first. I was sent a replacement and it appears to be working fine. Their customer service rates 5 stars as it was as positive as it could have been.
I tried using it with a H1 Zoom recorder with marginal results. It had to be rotated in just the right orientation to the H1 for it to have a clear output. There was a definite low frequency chirp which was evident if not in the proper orientation.

Works great, but some weird connectivity stuff (with iPhones at least)
Sound quality is great, I use it in my car all the time, and the battery life seems good too.
The range is very good, it can cover the entirety of an average Subway restaurant (I work there and use it on the speakers), but sometimes it cuts in and out if thereâs a large metal object between you. Another thing is that when you first connect to it, sometimes it disconnects you and you have to connect again, but after that it works fine. If someone else connects to it it will do this to them, and then do it to you again when you reconnect. I donât know about Android phones, but on my iPhone, when you turn it off, the little icon at the top of the screen goes away, but in your settings it still shows as connected, and youâll have to disconnect to allow someone else to connect to it. If you choose to disconnect after you turn it off, when you turn it back on it will automatically connect. If you donât disconnect after turning it off, when you turn it back on youâll have to go into your setting and just tap on it will work again. It also registers to your phone (at least iPhones) as a pair of headphone with a microphone, however it doesnât have a microphone, so if you answer a phone call youâll have to switch to speaker so they can hear you. Iâve only used the transmitter (Tx) mode once to make sure it worked, and it seemed to work fine although the took a bit before it would connect to my headphones.
Volume control is fine, although itâs much quieter than I feel like it should be. When I plug my phone into my car via a cable the volume levels seem about the same as the radio, but when I plug this in I have to turn the car volume up much farther to achieve the same volume level.
Although it can be a bit quiet, it works amazingly. The weird connectivity stuff is the only thing keeping this review from being 5 star.

It was great while it lasted
I’ve gone through several USB bluetooth adapter dongles (TP-Link, etc) that are inconsistent with connectivity and eventually bite the dust, allowing no devices to connect to my PC. Hard to set up in Windows 11, even with updated drivers, and I was constantly going in the settings to remove then re-add the bluetooth device to get my bluetooth headphones connected again.
I eventually gave up with these dongles and instead tried this TX/RX bluetooth adapter, and it worked flawlessly for a while (about 5 months). There’s no setup. You just plug it into a 3.5mm stereo audio output, turn it on and set to transmit mode, and connect your bluetooth headphones to the adapter with your phone app. No Windows settings to mess with. The battery charges with a USB connection and lasts about 4 hours with continuous use. I just left it permanently connected to USB to always stay powered on. Love the simplicity of this device but unfortunately it only lasted 5 months and won’t allow any bluetooth audio devices to connect to it anymore. Price tag was cheap so I’m not disappointed.
I do like the concept of these devices for listening to audio from my PC or any device with a 3.5mm audio output. Trying another device that’s twice the price, hopefully it’ll last twice as long or longer.

Works, but not great (UPDATE)
It does what it says it does, I used it for transmission from my TV to headphones. It was able to connect no problems, no cutting in and out or disconnecting, atleast until the battery starts to die, then there’s a series of warning beeps. This is one of the things I did not like, with a fully charged unit, I wasn’t able to get through a 2hr movie before battery was dead. Aside from the weak internal battery, the volume was super low through my headphones and had to be cranked super high in order to get decent sound, not great sound, just decent.
For that, I’ll probably spend the money to get a better unit, and never use this one again.
I would not buy again
UPDATE 12/27/23
I’m updating to 5 stars due to the fact that the seller contacted me on their own, apologized for the defective transmitter and issued a full refund. That is great customer service and worth 5 stars on its own, I rarely see that kind of customer service anymore!
