Detect Carbon Monoxide Gases: Electrochemical sensor technology detects CO gas, with a built-in test button & low-battery warning, sleep soundly knowing your CO detector is operating at its best. It is widely used in homes, kitchens, garages, travel trailers, campers, food trucks, restaurants, hotels, and so on. These carbon monoxide detectors can decrease the risk of harm resulting from gas leaks, protecting you and your family.
Battery Powered Carbon Monoxide Detectors: Easy to install co detector, operated by 3 * 1.5V AA batteries (not included) The system warm-up time is about 2 minutes. During this period, the carbon monoxide monitor test will not work. You need to wait for the display to show 0 (the system enters the working state) before it can be tested normally. Unlike most carbon monoxide detectors, this detector can be mounted to a wall or placed free-standing on a desk.
Powerful Quality & Functionality: Carbon monoxide alarm adopts high-quality 5-year electrochemical sensors. More accurate response times to co-gas exposure, avoiding the possibility of false alarms. LED display of carbon monoxide concentration, you can hear the alarm when the power is low, so don’t worry about when to replace the battery.
Visual & Audio CO Alarm: An 85-decibel alarm announces when carbon monoxide is detected. Alarm standard: 50ppm, alarm after 100 minutes delay (within 2 hours), 100ppm, alarm after 75 minutes delay (within 1 hour), 300ppm, alarm after 20 minutes delay, Above 300ppm, alarm within 3 minutes, When the concentration drops to 30PPM, the screen will turn off and return to the detection status.
Make Safety a Top Priority: Unchecked co-gas leaking into your sleep space can leave you sick or worse. This battery-operated carbon monoxide detector for home lets you know the moment there is a problem, so you’ll know when it’s time to react and fix a problem. Be worry-free and know you did everything to keep your family safe.

Easy to install
I believe every home should have this product. I bought this one to replace an older model. The older model was a plug-in and actually sent out an alarm when there was a leak detected. Would suggest buying lithium batteries.

Product did not work
This item did not work properly. It kept beeping and reading like there was CO2 when there was not. We even tested in different environments and it continued to do the same.

Safety First
I always keep a carbon monoxide detector in my home because I’ve had carbon monoxide poisoning before, so bad that it put me in the hospital. I prefer these types, that give you the readings instead of only an alarm so that I can monitor any levels. I have a small home so this alarm is great for my household, though it’s a good idea to have them on each level. The sound of this one is loud enough where I can hear it upstairs and downstairs also.

These can be lifesavers!
I needed this sooner that I got it as I left my car running in my garage for 4 hours. Fire department came and some rooms had very high levels of carbon monoxide. These are very inexpensive and can save lives. You need these devices as much as you do smoke detectors in our homes. It’s an easy install. it’s very loud also, so it will be easy to hear.Yes, the volume is loud. Very loud, which is awesome.I couldn’t ask for a better experience trying to navigate CO2 detectors. This one gives no excuses for waiting. Pop in some batteries and you are set.

Not Loud Enough for Large Home but Good for Small Homes and Apatments
The CO detector is well made and easy to install. The SUMRING detector has a siren that sounds loud enough to be useful in a smaller home, or even an apartment. However, my home is large (>4000 sq ft) and I wanted to use it in conjunction with the home RING security system which has a smoke/CO alarm sound sensor. This RING sensor gets activated with the CO alarm siren sound. I mounted the SUMRING CO detector within 6″ of the RING sensor and ran a test (see photo). The siren sound was not loud enough to activate the RING alarm system. I then mounted a First Alert smoke/CO detector next to the sound sensor (see second photo) and that device was loud enough to activate the RING alarm.I believe the SUMRING CO detector is well made and will work well in smaller homes where the alarm sound does not have to travel too far, and it does not need to be very loud. I would not recommend it for larger homes.

Misleading title: doesnât detect flammable gases, such as propane
Despite â⦠and Propane Detectors â¦â appearing in title, this item does not detect flammable gases (unless, perhaps, they are already on fire, which is a bit late). Similar CO-only alarms can be purchased for about half the price.

Where you have a smoke detector you should have one of these too
It’s been a big push over the last decade or so to get people to have smoke detectors in their houses and the results have been clear in the number of lives saved by them. CO detectors are just as important. The mounting mechanism is easy to mount to wherever you choose. It comes with the screws and drywall anchors you need to mount the base. Then you screw on the CO detector and watch it blink. One note on installation. Figure out which way you want up to be and make a little mark on the baseplate to remind you to have that point as up when you decide where to mark for the screw holes.Operation is really simple. Put in the AAA batteries (you need your own supply), put it on the mount, and watch the little light blink. Give it a couple of minutes to settle itself to where it is and press the test button to hear the alarm and it will display the CO value it is currently reading. You want to test it, take it out by your car’s exhaust and watch the numbers change and alarm go off. (don’t shove it in the tailpipe, just in proximity will be enough)

NOT A PROPANE GAS DETECTOR!
False description! This is a CO detector, NOT a propane gas detector (yes, there is a difference).
