Works as expected.
There’s really not much to talk about when it comes to cat 6 cable. It either works or it doesn’t. In this case it works exactly as expected. My Internet is much faster now than I have a hard wired connection. I have no complaints.

good value, no-frills
I am reviewing the product “AvesView CAT6 Ethernet Cable (UTP) Snagless 10Gbps Long High-Speed Network Cable” on 3 May, 2024.CAT6 Ethernet cables such as this model are the unsung backbone of our modern digital world. While Wifi may get all the splashy promotion and press, it’s the humble “8 twisted pairs in a jacket terminating in 8P8C modular connectors” that is truly the backbone of robust and reliable network infrastructures. The typical IT professional or SoHo office manager will have tens of them close at hand ready to be rapidly deployed. As a commodity item — albeit an essential IT supply — it’s challenging to find differences between various models. If they’re conformant to the standard, they’re generally reliable. If not, they fall short; the sample I received met all the criteria of the standard and performed as expected with no glitches or gotchas. I did appreciate the AvesView model’s snagless design. Just as a smoothly operating zipper can add a touch of pleasure to the experience of wearing a jacket, the snagless feature gave me a bit more reassurance that the cable I deployed would provide reliable service for many yearsSo: it works, it’s a good useful length, and is a good value, no-frills bundimal of an essential IT supply.

Good For Those Medium Length In-Room Runs, Flexible, Works Well, Good Value
At this point CAT-6 Ethernet cables are pretty much a commodity. They are also something that tends to either work or not. This cable worked just fine for me in my in-the-room wiring needs and I feel itâs a fine cable for my application. Iâm not using on 10Gbs ports so I didnât try that capability. Just boring 1Gbps Ethernet ports. At just (as of this review) $9.99 I think itâs also a good value. The cable is average thickness and I thought a little supple than my other CAT6 cables which helps running cables around corners and âstuffâ under or behind desks. Another thing I like is the anti-snag flap. I like this style with the U shaped loop. In some tight spaces it lets me get a tiny screwdriver into the center hole release the lock tab. This cable should do a great job connecting my central switch to the multifunction printer that is halfway around the room. For being the right cable that is a good value gives this one 5 stars in my opinion.Hope this is helpful.

Good cable, a little thinner than I was expecting
The first thing I noticed about this cable is that it isn’t as thick as what I’m used to. However, that doesn’t seem to hinder it as far as I can tell. Tested against a 25-foot Ethernet cable I already had, I noticed no significant difference in speed of copying files. Granted, I don’t have any fancy scientific test kits to use, but I do have 2 computers with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet unmanaged switch, and Google Fiber jack with 2.5 Gigabit service. Copying 5 small files and 2 large files was timed using my original cables and my phone with a stopwatch app. Then replacing the cable from the switch to my computer, I repeated the test and came up with a time that was similar enough to have been well within my reaction time, or within human error as they say. I realize that the files still had to travel through one of the original cables in this test, and that the Ethernet switch itself may limit these speeds, but I wasn’t looking for improvements, I was simply looking for nothing worse than I was already used to. This cable looks like it does the trick just fine. It seems to be good quality and a bit more flexible than I’m used to. Heck, even the anti-snag things that cover the tabs were easy to work with, so I’m going to recommend it.

Nice cable. No surprises. Thickness cinsistent with CAT 6.
Sometimes you just need an Ethernet cable that is longer than the standard 3 ft. of 6 ft. This one, at 25 ft. caught my eye. Thickness is consistent with what you see on a CAT 6 cable. It is well-made and, most importantly, it delivers what you expect. I am fortunate to be in a neighborhood that has AT&T and Comcast fiber. That’s a big deal, since I not only have access to speed but at least I am not “stuck” with one provider that can kill me on pricing and just laugh at me when I complain. CAT 6 supports up to 10 gigabit speeds per second and it will be a long time before that is widely available and is standard speed. This cable will work at many future speed upgrades. I have gigabit internet. I did a speed test on this PC and tested at 925.41mbps download and 926.42mbps upload speed. I disconnected the existing cable, connected this one, and re-tested the speeds. The test results with this cable were 923.42mbps download and 929.06 upload. I had my email client open, Firefox open, three Nest Outdoor IQ cameras running and had the Chrome browser opened to the camera feed at the time of the tests. This cable performed as expected.

ethernet cable
I ordered this product to use at swim meets for the computer table’s ethernet needs. So I need it to travel far and possibly in wet environments. This ethernet cable is pretty much exactly what I needed; it plugged into the connection in the wall and ran through a cable jacket on the floor to the table. I had immediate connectivity, which is one less thing for me to worry about! Excellect price for the length of the cable.

Fantastic value for 25′
This CAT6 Ethernet Cable is fantastic value for its length, and it performs flawlessly. It’s exactly what I needed for my high-speed network, providing reliable connectivity without any issues. With its snagless design and 10Gbps capability, I’m confident it will last for years to come. The blue color adds a nice touch, making it easy to identify among other cables. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a dependable Ethernet cable.

Works Perfectly!
Got this guy for my work computer because my company’s VPN doesn’t play nice with Wi-Fi connections. Plugging in this cable more than quadrupled my speed! (which probably says more about the VPN + Wi-Fi problem than anything else) Highly recommend it, especially at this price/foot.
