Works like a charm
I recently got internet installed in my new apartment, and connected these mesh routers to my new network. The internet installation serviceman was surprised that I couldn’t activate them via the Cudy app, but I was able to do it with my laptop with no issues, apart from not being able to tell which was the primary router without trial and error. The internet speed, when the serviceman tested it, was 1.5 times higher than expected. I’ve been enjoying fast wi-fi with no dead spots throughout my entire apartment.

For Tech Savvy Shoppers. Decent Coverage For The Price.
We have a few rooms that WiFi has always struggled to reach; a living/craft room from a converted 1.5 car garage and our current detached garage, plus I always get crap wifi when I’m doing yard work which really is annoying. So, I’m the family tech guru, like I solve the problems after the ‘I’m good with this stuff guy’ has thrown in the towel. I enjoy the challenge of discovering the root problem of digital nightmares. So, if you are the person who’s “Good With This Stuff,” this is for you! But read the instructions, and be methodical. Long CAT7 cables to your mesh, only the best for the best. This is a very doable DIY project, but expect a few bumps along the way. The result is worth the time and money to upgrade your network. The alternatives with old modems and routers are WAY more ‘challenging’ configurations, which will be discouraging. Wireless Mesh is easier and works fine. Now have strong WiFi on almost the whole property. Even mowing I had a strong connection to Pandora on a wifi only device that only buffered twice!

Great coverage and easy to set up if you follow my directions
I have quite a bit of experience with networks and WIFI. I like these so much that this is my second set. However, I had quite a bit of struggle with the first installation where I could not connect a second node. The issue I had was with the complexity of my network I was replacing with this system. And my initial Base node configuration. If you are having trouble please follow these directions.1. When installing your initial base unit, connect your power and cable to your modem or router.2. Once booted up, make your compute connection and login to your admin screen.3. Only do the initial setup. DO NOT do any advanced setup at this point like dhcp or ip addresses. If you do, you wont be able to connect to another satellite node.4. Connect a second satellite node.5. Once you have successfully connected a second node, you can go into the web admin and make any advanced adjustments. After that, you can very easily add more nodes without issue. The web admin is very useful and has a really good design. You can adjust a lot of advanced settings to handle pretty much any network configuration. Once adjusted, the base unit pushes out all the settings to the mesh nodes. These units also provide very good coverage. I have a 2 story house with a detached garage and about 5 acres. I also have over 70 IOT and Alexa devices as well as numerous computers and such. Two units covers my First and second floors as well as the basement. They also cover some items that are outside the house. I also was able to put another unit out in the garage to provide additional coverage. I really like that the mesh units use the 5g for communicating so if you have 2.4 devices connected to the mesh, the signals can actually be transmitted via 5g through the mesh system. Another great feature, is you can easily set the mode of your base unit even WISP. I have my base station set up as an access point due to the configurations in my router and static ips which will take me quite a bit of time to transfer over.If this is your first WIFI setup it is super easy to setup and get great signal strength around your home. If you are an advanced user with an existing infrastructure, these units are great as well and easy to setup as long as you dont do any advanced settings right away.

The Cudy AX3000 Mesh System delivers on its promise of Wi-Fi bliss
What I love:Whole-home coverage: This system blankets my entire house in strong, reliable Wi-Fi. No more dead zones or buffering frustrations, even upstairs!Blazing speeds: My high-speed internet finally gets the turbo boost it deserves. Downloads fly, streaming is seamless, and online gaming is lag-free.Easy setup: Setting up the Cudy was surprisingly straightforward, even for someone not tech-savvy. The online interface is clear and guides you through the process.Advanced features: I appreciate the extra security features like guest network and parental controls, plus the option for wired backhaul for even better performance.Points to consider:Occasional glitches: While rare, I’ve encountered some random connection drops and slowdowns, although they usually resolve themselves quickly.Overall:The exceptional coverage, high speeds, and ease of setup far outweigh the rare glitches. I highly recommend it.

Iâm in over my head.
I always thought I could do almost anything. Believe it or not this set up got me to the point of wanting to break some stuff. I have everything pack up real nice like it came. And some day I will open this set up again when I fell like getting the crap beat out of me. Until then it will be in the attic waiting for someone to find in the distance future, hopefully it will be more like jumanji for those future people. At least Iâm not stuck in a time warp, and I can still find a sweet spot when I need to download a video.
