Customers find the game easy to use and understand. They also appreciate the cute appearance and glossy finish of the cards. However, some customers feel the game lacks replay value and the questions are repetitive and dumb.

Worth it!
Me and my boyfriend went through all of them over the course of several months. It was a really nice bonding activity and we got great conversations out of it.

Great conversation starters if you just read the cards. Lots of topics, no repeats, never dull.
What a fun idea! I bought this game for a road trip my husband and I took recently. There are directions for how to play a game , but we were driving a lot, so I just grabbed hunks of cards and read the questions in the car or at meals. Some made us laugh a lot, some made us think and discuss for a while. There are a lot more cards than I thought – and there are no repeat topics, which is suprising. The cards are of good quality stock, not too thick, not too thin. The game also comes with 2 dry-erase boards and markers but we didn’t use those. The box is not much larger than the cards, making it easy to take along. The questions ranged from asking about our respective childhoods, to asking what our theme song for a comedy about us. It’s never too late to learn more about your partner…

Cheap thrills and bonding
My spouse is a good sport. He willingly and excitedly engages in playing a few rounds of this game whenever I beg, plead, nag, and whine a little. We laugh when we play. We bond. Itâs all good fun. Iâm currently holding my breath awaiting the moment where he initiates game play. I have confidence itâll happen any momentâ¦

This is actually fun!
I feel like my partner and I have done every â50 questions to ask your partnerâ âunique talking points with your significant otherâ list there is, and this game still gave us unique and fun talking points. Definitely recommend! It could even be fun to play with a friend if you were willing to eliminate the âspicyâ cards when you come across them.

Best game
This game is so fun. I just wish it had a point system so you can win. The questions are fun, you are sure to laugh, go down memory lane and learn how your partner thinks. Comes with white board, markers and Erasers. Lot of cards you can have lots of nights to play.

Decent Single-Use Game
First of all, I received a game that had already been used. The game includes two mini white erase boards which had both been written on a lot, and the erasers had also been used. One star removed for sending me something used when I paid for something new. It definitely detracted from the experience because I kept being reminded that I was touching and using something that other people had used. But oh well, we played it because itâs a lot of trouble to repackage something and drive all the way to a drop off location just to get a refund for a $20 game. And itâs a fun game, kind of like trivia about your relationship. But the entire deck of cards takes maybe an hour to run through, and then you canât start over because youâve already answered all the questions. Iâll probably pass the game along to another couple I know.Overall: Iâd rather buy board/card games that we can play over and over again.

High Quality
The cards are high quality card stock with glossy finish. The white board did get stained easily but I don’t think it impedes too much. I bought this has a game to play at our wedding in place of the shoe game. We had someone read off a card and the whole family would go around and try to guess our answers. We went through the cards before hand and there were a bunch that we didn’t include because they were very personal and probably inappropriate to say around family but it was a fun game for a small crowd but that isn’t the way the game was designed to be played, that’s just what we did. If I am being honest it isn’t a game that you’d really play more than once. After we went through the cards we pretty much knew our answers and they probably aren’t going to change much (like our first impression of each other). Maybe we will revisit it for our anniversary but otherwise it will probably stay in our wedding box.

SUPER FUN GAME!
This game is so incredibly fun! We actually played it with some of our couple friends. More newly wed style. Ladies answered questions about their partner using the white board and after guys revealed their answer. Then guys used the whiteboard and ladies revealed. It was SO FUN! We had hours of laughter. The challenges were fun, some requiring just writing a word out sentence, but the funniest were the drawing challenges. We thoroughly enjoyed and I highly recommend this game!

## DSS Games The Couples Game That’s Actually Fun: A Review**The Couples Game That’s Actually Fun**, by DSS Games, promises a fun and engaging experience for couples. While it’s marketed as a party game, I found it works best as a casual, intimate activity for two. Here’s a breakdown of what I liked and disliked about the game:**What I Loved:*** **Simple and Quick:** The game’s rules are very easy to grasp, requiring minimal setup and play time. It’s perfect for a quick and spontaneous activity after dinner or a relaxing evening.* **Engaging Questions:** The questions, ranging from playful to deep, encourage conversation and laughter. They offer a great opportunity to learn something new about your partner or rediscover fun facts you’ve forgotten.* **Competitive with a Twist:** The game’s competitive element adds a playful push without overshadowing the focus on bonding. It encourages brainstorming and strategic questioning, making it more than just answering random prompts.* **Varied Decks:** The ‘Blue’ and ‘Red’ decks offer different levels of intimacy and depth, allowing you to tailor the game based on your comfort level and desired discussion topics.**What Could Be Improved:*** **Limited Replayability:** The questions, while entertaining, are limited in number. Once youâve played through them a few times, the novelty may wear off. The creators could benefit from expanding the card decks or releasing themed expansions.* **Lack of Depth for Long-Term Couples:** For couples who are already deeply connected, some questions might feel too simplistic. The game could benefit from including prompts that encourage more complex and meaningful dialogue.**Overall:**The Couples Game That’s Actually Fun delivers on its promise of fun and engaging gameplay. It’s a great option for couples looking for a lighthearted way to connect and laugh together. While the limited card decks and relatively simple questions might not appeal to everyone, the game’s easy-to-learn rules and focus on meaningful conversation make it a worthwhile experience. I would recommend it for couples new to game nights or those seeking a casual, low-pressure way to learn more about each other.
