Very good product and works but conflicted.
It works very well and the temperature reading is pretty accurate and when youâre using it, you can literally feel your consul cooler to the touch. I will say it is a little bit noisy though, but if you didnât want noisy console, then donât get one of these. The fans in the inside are made to blow hot air out but just enough so it uses little power so itâs not loud. These fans are made to push the hot Air out, but theyâre gonna be a little noisy. The mode is not very noisy but the second two are but no matter what game I played it never went above 107° which is still the first so it keeps the consul cool also not being too loud, and since the top of it is full of holes, the ventilation is way better than anything else on the market

Exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!
This is the one. Iâve had many of these types of fans but this one so far has performed well above my expectations. I like that it gives you an accurate temperature read, I can confirm it is accurate as I tested with a thermometer. The fan is strong, and some level of noise does come with the territory but Iâm not bothered by it.I have a very small room and my Xbox started overheating not long ago. I live in New England and would normally require heat in the winter but my Xbox was running so hot (Thank you Baldurâs Gate 3) that my entire bedroom was warm enough that I was actually opening the window at times. When the fan arrived Iâd been gaming for 3-4 hours and was curious to see what the temperature was, as like I said my Xbox was essentially heating my entire room for me. The first temperature read was a whopping 112* F – I canât believe Iâve been abusing my Xbox this way! I installed the fan right away and started a timer. Within 10 minutes the temperature dropped down to 86* and after 20 minutes we were down to a comfortable temperature down in the high 70âs. 30 degrees cooler in 20 minutes – Impressive isnt the word. I was outright giddy!I will also add, that I have a charging base already with a fan the cools from bottom up. That model cost me just over $60, however it clearly doesnât work that well if my console is running 112* even while running it full speed. I was sure the cooling dock would be great since it screws into the wall giving the vents underneath the Xbox room to breathe but it really hasnât done much. At double the price of this fan I have to say I wish Iâd just purchased this one first! There is a huge difference between the two, I noticed right away that this fan was blowing my hair while the other one doesnât do much at all. This one does make a bit more noise, but as someone who uses the Xbox virtually every single day for 8+ hours, Iâd much rather opt for function over noise level.I was pleased that this fan came with dust covers, I have cats and it gets really dusty, Iâm fairly neurotic about maintaining the Xbox so needless to say Iâm constantly cleaning and dusting it. I donât know that it works as well with the dust plate on top while running the Xbox, so I think Iâll just use it when the fan isnât running. The other dust covers though, I installed right away.My one and probably only qualm with this cooling fan was the dust plug covers. They came molded on a single sheet of rubber so you have to cut them yourself. The process was torture for me, as nothing less than perfect was going to be acceptable for my Autistic mind. Nevertheless I did fairly well cutting them out, I just wish I hadnât needed to do all that. I wouldâve preferred they come as separate pieces. Small complaint though.I highly recommend this product. It does what it promises and at a very affordable price.

Works very good
Iâm not sure why some people give this cooling fan a bad review, but I personally love this cooling fan for the series X. It works great, especially in automatic mode. I play Fortnite sometimes and even fallout 4 with the next GEN update, and when I had the fan off, the temperature was all the way up to 120°, soon as I turn the fan on it starts sucking all the heat out, and took the temperature all the way back down to 95°. And it also holds two controllers on the side like you can see from the picture. Even makes the series look even better. Well worth the money.

It does a pretty good job in intelligent mode of cooling the Xbox series X but….
I do think it does a wonderful job cooling it so far but I game Warframe intensely for 3-4 hours at a time at 4k resolution. What I’m worried about mostly is the mesh coverings on the back. So far my Xbox hasn’t reach a temp high than 113° F according to the digital thermometer on the fan. But I do wonder if anyone has experienced overheating due to the smaller holes? But, do the benefits of your Xbox running a couple degrees higher outweigh the risk of dust and dirt getting into the back vents? I don’t know. If anyone else has had an issue with what I mentioned please do a review explaining this and showing the high temps Thank you to whoever may do this. Also, I do not use the top cover either that flat plastic piece, it would restrict airflow I believe. And airflow is extremely important. Even if the manufacturer can somehow speak to this or put it in the description of whether or not the mesh coverings for the back vents are 100% safe. I will monitor and if I see too much heat those mesh coverings are coming off lol. Other than these questions I give this product 4 stars. It is pretty efficient, quite and the lighting is neat.

Works great
Snaps right on, and keeps my system cool. Has made my box run much smoother. Some games just made it run to hot and Iâd get jitters sometimes or a crash. This seems to have mitigated that to almost zero. Will always have an external fan from now on.

Good for cooling
Works well and helps provide better cooling than the stock Xbox Series X fan. It sits on top of the xbox, not far above the built in fan but more aggressive in cooling the xbox. I have seen my temps drop from 105F or higher to around 95F. That’s obviously the outlet temp of the air, but if you’re dropping that temp the internals have to be cooler. It’s not super loud but it’s not whisper quiet either. I have spent decades working in data centers and dealing with server cooling and given my experience there it works very well for it’s price point. You might be able to pay more for a quieter fan, but there’s only two way to get more cooling: bigger fan or faster fan. You can’t make the xbox air channel any bigger so you have to go faster. I wear a headset all the time anyway, and never hear the fan. If you don’t wear a headset you WILL hear the fan.

Cumple con lo que ofrecen, materiales buenos, no son los mas resistentes pero buenos materiales. Calidad buena y funcionamiento excelente enfria la consola y ayuda muchÃsimo a bajar la temperatura de la misma.

I really like this fan set up, It works great and really cools the machine down quick. I also really like the auto and manual modes as well however itâs a little on the loud side but not too loud, especially on low. Also, the thermometer seems to be pretty accurate too for the most part. I would definitely recommend this unit for anyone looking to keep their machine cool. Also, this is an exhaust fan so it wonât affect stock fan motor or fan speed. Just simply pulls the heat out of the machine. Cheers

I had heard lot about this product…was searching for India review but unfortunately couldnt get any….so was bit skeptical…but thought to give a try…it is really amazing…as soon as temperature raises beyond 95F the fan gets activated & immediately starts to cool down xbox…Very happy as of now and hope it lasts for longer..Its for sure that this fan will definitely extend life of my xbox…Will definitely recommend to xboxx owners

I wasn’t aware just how hot my Series X was running at until I got this fan. The G-Story fan sits nicely on top of the Series X. The front LED panel shows the current temp in either C’s or F’s. The fan has 4 operating levels dependant on the heat temp coming out of the Series X. They are standby, Low, Medium and High. Also the fan displays 3 colours when running – L is green, M is blue and H is red. So just by looking at the fan colour you can see how hot the Series X is running. For an example when I play Cyberpunk the heat temp without the fan running is 125F, and that is with the gameplay having low/no activity. Start the action and the temp goes up!! As soon as I connected the fan the temp dropped to 106F while playing the game. With game action it went up to 108F, but dropped as soon as the action stopped/slowed down. The beauty of the fan is that it is automatic. But, you switch it to manual if you want the fan to run at a set speed for long game play.If all the G-Story fan does is keep the running temp around 20F lower than just relying on the internal fan, it’s got to be worth it. And this has got to have a positive effect in keeping the Series X running without issues. And finally, fan noise. Yes, there’s fan noise and it increases the harder it has to work. But you get used to it and if you turn the volume up just a little bit, you won’t hear it running. For me it’s a great investment and I’m going to get another one so that I have a back up. Not everything lasts forever 🙂
