Could not detect any interference.
I got the Cat 6 outdoor 100 ft ethernet cable:Just a regular IT guy, been around for quite a few decades so have a lot of experience with this. I got this with the purpose of running security camera outside my garage. The cable, for me, will not have extreme outdoor exposure for burial like they suggest it can handle. Nor will I be testing that. How I tested, I do have basic cable testers that tell me if the cable is good and wired correctly and so on and tests power over ethernet. You basically plug both ends into the device and turn it on. Let it do its thing. This passed with no issue. However, to test the shielding I took 2 computers I knew to have solid Gigabit ethernet, I connected them they automatically detected Gigabit, which is a good sign. I then fired up a large file to copy from one to the other, and monitored the speed with Wireshark. No issues. So then I took the cable spread it out over the living room floor, draped if over a fan I had running, behind the TV, crossed it and ran across other power cables. I then performed the same file copy test with no issues. A plain cable would have slowed down due to interference. So satisfied, up in the attic out to the garage and then through a wall to the camera. This plugs into the back of the camera mounted actually inside the wall. The camera is powered with power over ethernet and worked just fine. No complaints. I can not tell you how it will handle winter it that is 6 months away. But so far summer heat in attic and garage is fine. The cable design is nice too, rather than round and bulky it is flat, and not very large, for me it was great to run along rafters in the attic I used standard electrical wire stables to secure it. However due to its design as shown it could easily go under a rug without noticing it very much or even be tucked between carpet and floor trim easy enough.

Quality ethernet cable
I used this ethernet cable to go through my attic connecting my ethernet router to my PC and other devices in another room of my home. I was somewhat surprised to find that 40ft was way more than I needed but thats what I get for not measuring first. Regardless of the extra length, this ethernet cable works extremely well. Cat 6 is a mid-high range ethernet standard and will transmit a very good signal for long distances.I’ve used a lot of different ethernet cables in my time and this is one of the nicer ones. I really like the flat cable style and its super easy to run in tight spaces compared to a standard ethernet cable. The plugs on this are also nicer than the normal plastic plugs you see on cheap ethernet cables. This cable works well and has all of the quality of life features you could want from an ethernet cord. The flat cable is nice. This cable is rated to be buried so it should be pretty robust. I just ran it inside my attic and its been holding up great. 10/10 ethernet cable for a reasonable price.

Well built ethernet cable
I don’t have a ton to say about this other than it is a solid cable, and the 2nd from this brand I’ve gotten (the other a cat7) that performs as expected and feels well constructed. No special setup needed, it is plug and play to get going. The 2 main factors for me were length and the flat construction that makes for a cleaner run with what I was doing, plus a great price. Big Box store’s have insane markup on things like cables, but even my go to vendor wouldn’t be this cost at this length so I’m very happy with this. I got the 50′ as I needed something longer in my new place (the longest I still had was 25 as I think my longer was snagged by family during a move). Performance wise there really is no difference in speed between this and the old cable, it just lets me get to a better location that I couldn’t earlier. But not having any dropoff is a good sign. This is supposed to be rated for outdoor use but I can’t vouch for that as it won’t be tasked to handle any of that. Still I am liking these GearIT cables as they definitely are not going out to overcharge you.

Its flat and out door rated.
Worked great for me. In my home use environment I haven’t run into any problems. No detectable interference issues. The 150 ft length is just what I needed. the cable feels like it can handle some light abuse.

Economical heavy duty high-speed internet cable
Due to my work situation I was replacing my 50′ ethernet cable about once per year. In the retail store I was paying anywhere from $30-$49 for them, so this is a much better option. The cable is flat so if you need to run it under a rug it’s less noticeable. It also is rated for use outdoors and can be buried if necessary which is a good option. I also appreciate that the plugs have extended tabs to release from the computer port so you don’t need to pick at it with your thumbnail to press the lever and unplug it.I end up replacing a long ethernet cable on average about once per year. Since I work at home with customer health information it’s a requirement that I be in a private room and have a wired internet connection for reliability and security, so that means running a 50 foot cable from the router in the main room along hooks at the ceiling, around a closet and another wall, then down under a door that must be closed during work to reach my office computer. Invariably the cable will wear out from getting tugged or walked on or accidentally pinched and broken in the door hinges if I’m not careful so I’m replacing it more often than I’d like. This is a much more economical option and I appreciate that it’s outdoor-rated for durability – I can have one in use and a spare for less than I was paying for one cable previously buying them at the retail store.
