Very good choice for the price
Bought 4800H 16gig 1tb ssd 1660ti and 144hz 300 nit display version for 1090.Specs:You would be hard pressed to build a PC with these specs for the same amount, especially with recent price hikes on some components like GPUs and general shortages in electronics. I need this machine mostly for productivity and video editing, sometimes light gaming. 4800H is a beast, at 26c ambient it scored 1850 in Cinebench R15 which is very respectable. At -2c ambient (tested it on the balcony in winter) it tested almost 2k. This is a 9900k level of performance in a laptop. GPU is OK for 1080p gaming on mid-high, depending on title. DOOM Ethernal runs at 100+ fps, but this game is so well optimized it runs well almost on anything:)Thermals – generally they are very good, even when editing 4k60fps 100mbps clips from Sony a6400 clips Premiere Pro it CPU does not go above 75c. The coolers are audible however, they are not totally silent even in idle mode, but generally not very annoying.Battery Life – for a gaming laptop it’s fine, it does 4.5-5hrs on a battery when watching videos/browsing. It’s not Macbook M1 level of battery of course, but it’s a decent for a device of this classScreen – surprisingly good, it gets bright enough to work comfortably indoors, but I see that there may be a bit problematic to use it outside in the sunBuild quality and Chassis – Laptop is a mix of plastic and aluminum, overall Very impressed, some screen flex but nothing too terrible, keyboard is very good, when typing the screen does not wobble like on some other laptops., trackpad is large enough for me to comfortably use it and not require a mouse (obviously one would need a mouse for gaming).Port selection is awesome, wish it had thunderbolt but unfortunately it’s an intel-only tech. Do not need any type of dongles with it, has full-size USB-s Ethernet and HDMI ports, also USB C. Can connect 3 external displays if one desires. For around a thousand bucks, this is a no-brainer. If you need a laptop or a PC NOW, then this is a great buy, if you can wait for 5-6 months, then ryzen 5000 and rtx 3000 laptops may be a better buy, nobody knows what the availability will be though.

Excellent little laptop
An excellent laptop that exceeded my needs without breaking my wallet. Fast boot up and very responsive. Fairly good at multitasking as well, like most AMD processors. Only kinda Γ’ΒΒconsΓ’ΒΒ are the charger, itΓ’ΒΒs bulky and the touchpad is a bit more sensitive out the box so you just feather your finger on it and it opens things or selects them. But no big deal. Keyboard is quiet, which is what I wanted. I own a Razer mechanical and wanted something that wouldnΓ’ΒΒt wake the dead. Screen is fairly bright and clear, I have noticed a few games or movies were kinda dim even at max brightness but most arenΓ’ΒΒt. Plenty of ports for various accessories and all that. A good buy for me and probably most people out there.

A powerful and good looking laptop
This is overall a very good laptop. The display looks very smooth and sharp, and the design of this year’s omen is great and isn’t too “aggressive” compared to a lot of other gaming laptops. It’s relatively light and has enough ports for any type of needs. Also, the keyboard is very comfortable to use and the material of the laptop seems to be of good quality (the screen does have some flex but the keyboard and “body” of the laptop are sturdy enough). Performance wise also, nothing to say: it can handle multiple tasks, it’s fast enough, responsive and allows most triple A games to run at 60+ fps on the highest settings. Now it’s also good to know that fingerprints get very noticeable on the laptop but can be erased with a microfiber cloth. Also there’s a gap between the screen and the keyboard when it’s closed but since its a plastic screen its probably nothing to worry about (but still good to know). The edges are a bit sharp when writing, it’s not particularly uncomfortable I believe but it could be for some people. In terms of battery life, you can get around 3 hours doing usual tasks like writing documents on Word or watching Youtube videos on Normal mode. I assume you could get an extra hour with Power saving mode on, but yeah the battery isn’t that great. Lastly, it’s most of the time a quiet device, even though the fans can get a little loud doing basic tasks sometimes but it’s never for more than 2-3 minutes. When gaming they do stay loud but it’s nothing too loud it’s pretty decent.Overall: I enjoy using this laptop everyday and it can handle pretty much anything you would wanna do wether it’s for work or gaming. The only downside would be the battery life but this can easily be fixed with a portable charger.

Very strong laptop. Tie with Lenovo Legion 5.
Very strong laptop, good temperatures (36c in idle and 75c gaming on boost mode), good touchpad and premium chassis of aluminium. It runs every game in ultra at 70+ fps and it has 4 zones rgb keyboard. Fancy experience, it comes a little noisy when the charger us plugged.

Great Laptop for a great Price
ItΓ’ΒΒs about time I leave a review on this and say that this Laptop has done me wonders over the year or so that iΓ’ΒΒve had it! Still works great and functions as promised, has gotten me through college and even let me tinker around with softwares I couldnΓ’ΒΒt normally do on other laptops!

Fantastic machine but 2x4GB RAM
Really happy with it, build quality, performance are excellent. But I had to buy a second 8 GB RAM stick to expand its memory to 16 GB, as the received config. had 2×4 GB sticks instead of 1×8 GB. It so adds aprox. 100 USD to the price instead of 50 USD to get ther, and now I am stuck with 2 x 4GB sticks for which I have no use… and I have to wait another week before being fully upgraded.
