great full sized keyboard, quarky software
this is the perfect office keyboard. the dimensions are slightly larger than other comparable keyboards, but it more than makes up for that in terms of weight. even with a battery, it is lighter than my previous cooler master mechanical keyboard. i’ve only used this keyboard in the wired and bluetooth modes (not the 2.4 ghz) and it has performed flawlessly. i’ve typically ordered brown switches in the past, but gave the banana switches a try this time. banana switches are a huge upgrade over the brown if you want a slightly more tactile switch – they’re very close to the baby kangaroos imo. the QMK/VIA software is a bit finicky. it worked when i first bought this keyboard, but now i can only program the keyboard using keychron’s keychron launcher. functionality it’s the same, but just kind of a hassle.

Love this keyboatd
It’s a real pain to find a full 100% wireless keyboard, with tactile switches, RGB backlight, and a 2.4 dongle. Even harder to find one where the caps are shine-through, but that’s the one feature I’m willing to forgo. This things feels great, and sounds great, though I’m not a real keyboard guy, and my girlfriend says the stabilizers leave a bit to be desired, but it doesn’t bother me at all. The banana switches are FAR nicer than the brown switches if you want a tactile switch. Al in all, this would be the PERFECT keyboard for e if it came with shine-through caps, but I may just buy a set of my own and swap them out.Only real gripe I have is the software, VIA, doesn’t seem to recognize the keyboard unless I download a json file and manually import it into the software EVERY time I open it. Other than that, it’s a damn nice keyboard for about $100

Solid keyboard, great switches and an amazing value
This keyboard is very good with a great price. I chose the Gateron Jupiter Red switches (light linear switches) and they are wonderful—there’s no need to lube these switches! The Jupiter Reds are as good as it gets if you like quiet linear switches. It has screw-in stabilizers and a hot-swap PCB, so anything you don’t like can be upgraded. My only complaints are that the required keymap file for VIA isn’t easy to locate to download and that key tests on Windows with VIA are going to show layer 0, which are the Mac key mappings. These are minor gripes and only matter if you are going to reprogram the keyboard. Overall, I highly recommend this keyboard.

typing heaven
Got it with the banana switches. It’s typing heaven. Much more accurate than typical keyboards. Less mistakes with faster typing. Great specs for speed of connection, etc.. Satisfying sound to typing. the banana switches are great, smooth and slight resistance at beginning of stroke. The color LEDs a kind of soothing as they pulsate in a wave.

Awesome Mechanical Keyboard
Everything about this keyboard is greatâ¦except one major issue. My board came with a defective switch for the Bluetooth/wired/2.4ghz. It will not move, even with heavy pressure, from the Bluetooth setting. This isnât a huge deal for me because I use the Bluetooth anyway, but itâs a feature I paid for that is useless. The typing experience is fantastic with the red switches. I actually enjoy typing even more now. The quality of the board is insane, you have to try it.

Very Good Full-sized Wireless Keyboard
I’ve been using Keychron keyboards since they were new to the mechanical keyboarding scene. The first ones I got were through crowd-source funding sites. It’s been nice to see them expand their product offerings, and they definitely make a lot of different types of mechanical keyboards now at a decent price!I decided to pick up the Keychron V6 Max Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard here for use at work, and boy has it been a good choice for me! I like the versatility of being able to disconnect from wires and have the option to connect to multiple devices wirelessly! Switching over from one device to another via Bluetooth connection and/or 2.4 GHz is seamless. With the rear switch on the correct wireless mode and Function key + 1-3 for Bluetooth or Function key + 4 for 2.4 GHz, you can switch between devices relatively easily and quickly! The knob is a very nice added feature to be able to control volume, and a simple push of the knob mutes and unmutes sound. It definitely beats having to click on the volume control on my PC or reach over to use an external pot on speakers or a DAC. The knob is just right there near your hand as you’re typing. It’s extremely practical and convenient. The typing experience on the Gateron Jupiter Red Linear switches feels great and is extremely smooth and pleasant. I’ve used tactile and clicky switches in the past as well, but I always ended up going back to linear switches. As such, these reds are preferred over the other types of switches. Nevertheless, this keyboard has hot-swappable switches, so if you want to try out other switches or go to another type, just pop on the existing switches and replace them with your choice of switches! This keyboard is used on one of five shared computers, and my coworkers regularly comment on how much they like this keyboard and how pleasant it is to type on it. One coworker asked for the link to purchase this specific keyboard so he could buy one for himself. The battery life is good. With LEDs on, it lasted a few weeks, keeping the keyboard on 24/7. With LEDs off and keyboard kept on 24/7, after one week of use, the battery shows about 80%.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this keyboard. It’s a full-size keyboard which I need for work (I regularly use the numpad), so it fits my needs perfectly. I also have the TKL version of this keyboard for home use where I don’t really need a numpad as much.
