Great Product
Works as described and simple to use. Built well and has strong magnet to hold in place.

Works great, highly accurate & repeatable, low cost.
I use it for determining the angle of the bevel on knife blades, and also for setting the angle on a table saw. It just plain works. If you place it on a surface, and remove it a few times, the angle reading remains the same, which is a good thing!

Why plastic?
I mean, I know why plastic. Plastic cheap. But it still feels weird that a device that can measure tenths of degrees is relying on a base that can be deformed as easily as whatever plastic this case is made of. You can recalibrate the level; it works by placing it on a surface, then rotating it to face away from you. This should reasonably find true level, as long as the base and surface are flat. But almost anything could cause a plastic base to be not-flat. Almost anything can deform this sort of plastic. It does come with a nylon case, which should hopefully prevent incidental deformation, and I suppose that if something else happens to it, you should be able to sand down the plastic to get it flat again and then recalibrate. The recalibration process is not hard, but it’s not exactly obvious. It does come with an instruction leaflet that explains how to do it. It seems like it would be a no-brainer to make it so that the leaflet fit in the case, but apparently the person who designed the instruction leaflet didn’t think that far ahead. I mean, it’ll fit, but you gotta kinda cram it in there. That said, it works well and is reasonably easy to read. I personally think that the icon that shows which direction it’s tilted is backwards from what it ought to be, but worse things have happened.

Easy to use and accurate
I bought this so that when I’m reviewing roofs I didn’t want to carry a large smart level on a roof with me. This fits easily in my tool belt and also has a magnet for metals. It is water resistant and has a rubberized out protection which makes it easy to grip. Great tool for angle measurements.

This is very easy to use, the magnets work well. I put it in it’s little pouch and then from inside the pouch I stick it on the side of my drill press to be in reach. It’s very easy to read. I bought it for a specific project on the table saw but I was delighted to realize I can use it just as easily on the drill press, miter saw, band saw, any machine, stick it to a straight edge and it’s a level, etc etc etc. Cool. I’m a woodworker, not a machinist, so this thing has been accurate enough for anything I’ve tried to do. It seems reliable to a 0.1 degree, and I feel like I can squeeze a bit more accuracy in my setup by creeping up to an angle versus creeping down to it. Very nice addition to a wood shop.

I’ve used this quite a few times now. Firstly for setting hand rail angles on a continuous run and also leveling some sockets in a office. It’s just as accurate as a bubble level and the magnetic base is a bonus. I can’t really find any faults other than o wish the carry case had some sort of belt loop or clip.
