Excellent laptop
The 13900HX is a very powerful mobile processor. Coupled with 64GB RAM, 2GB SSD and an nVidia 4070 GPU this makes for a capable and versatile machine. It’s not particularly small or light but I wouldn’t expect that with these features. I use a laptop for music production, video editing and 3D CAD and for those purposes it excels. I’m not a gamer but for around $2k this represents very good value for money. I’m happy with my purchase. I was even happier after I figured out how to disable to flashing multicolor lights under the keyboard ð

A bit pricey, but great for gaming
I needed something for on-the-go, normally only built desktops, and wanted it to game very easily. I could have gone for RTX 4080 but I felt the price did not justify the performance “increase”. This plays every game–well, almost every game–at the highest settings @ 1440p. The only game I’ve tested so far that does not work well at all is Ark Ascended, though I’m 99.9% certain that Ark is just optimized like a garbage bucket full of liquid garbage, so…take that as you will. The color quality is incredible on the screen, too. When I first loaded up Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West, I was stunned. It’s a massive upgrade over the monitor I had before, just not in “size”.The only thing I have a complaint about is the serious lack of USB ports. It’s kind of really annoying for the price that 4 is all I got total, but you win some, you lose some I guess. If you got the money and don’t need a laptop, build your own desktop for way less and have it be better in every way. If you need a laptop for school/work AND you also want to game, this laptop or something similiar is a good option.NOTE: you may experience sound not working on speakers after updates. No matter what you do unless you reinstall Windows. Thank you Lenovo for thinking that’s okay to ship.

Only place with these specs
As a game developer I put a high priority on things like RAM, CPU, and storage space. Moreso than a gamer or the typical laptop user. This was the only place I could find a laptop with a decent graphics card that had a great CPU, 64GB RAM and 4TB storage. I’ve been using the laptop for a few months now and I’m pleased with it. The keyboard is decent and all of the third party RAM/SSD upgrades are legit from what I can tell.I opted for the 5i over the 7 because honestly the only difference was the metal face plate from what I could tell and that wasn’t worth the extra few hundred bucks.

Black Screen after Windows Update. Nothing helps. Absolute trash!
I was very excited to recieve it. Me and my and ms son were waiting for UPS guy to show up. When we finaly recieved it, we were so thrilled to turn it on! We went through all registration process and Windows update. Ufter update the screen just won’t turn on… Just black screen. But backlit keyboard is on. After internet research I’ve learned that this is very common problem for Lenovo laptops. We tried every step that was described on oficial Lenovo forums in terms of troubleshooting and “power drain”. Nothing works! The frustration is real. I have initiated return and learned that if it’s open box then it might be 10% restocking fee. Are you kidding me? I paid $1,789.00 before taxes (almost $2000 with taxes). So they will be charging me $178.90 for buying a faulty product? This is absolutely rediculous! After printing a shipping label, It seems that I have to pay for my own shipping as well, I am not sure yet. The seller is PCOnline. So far I can tell, that if you pay $2000 for computer this souldn’t be like this. I will keep updating upon situation developing. So far don’t buy newest Lenovo Legion specificaly from this seller.

Powerful
I really like this machine. It is powerful apparently too powerful for the games that I am using it for. But if there is a game out there that needs that power, I will at least have it. It does how ever get very hot and fast. I didn’t have a cooling fan for the first few days of gaming. But once I did get a cooling pad, I never noticed it after that.
