nice upgrade from 24″ monitors
Since 2020 have been working from home using (2) 24″ off brand (what was about the only thing available for same day pick-up about a week into the original COVID shutdown when everyone that was able was working from home). Recently one of those died so used that as an excuse to upgrade to (2) of these LG 27″ curved monitors. These pretty much max out my existing monitor arms (mostly in height) and definitely max out my desk’s width and comfortable viewing left to right. For reference, desktop in the photos is 54″x25″.So far, very happy with them. The ‘borderless’ sides and top leave about 7mm of black screen before the pixels begin (about the same as those 4 year old 24″ monitors’ bezels), so don’t expect a near seamless transition from one screen to the next. The bottom border goes right up to the screen image. Even still, they have a very nice clean look and really like the curved shape, especially being the tighter 1000R radius than most of the other curved monitors. it makes the side-by-side in this size much easier to work with than if they were flat. The 100×100 mounting area is just slightly curved, but was able to tighten down my arm’s bracket without needing spacers. These came with a DV cable, which i was expecting HDMI. My laptop hub only has one of each, so using an existing HDMI on one and the DV on the other (abandoning the USB-C hub I had been using that connected the prior 2nd monitor’s HDMI).Images are prior to any picture adjustments, and read a little flatter color than my laptop screen, but it may be a bit too saturated.

Monitor Brightness Constantly Fluctuating and the Stand is too basic
The brightness of this monitor was constantly changing on it’s own, attempted to turn off ENERGY SAVING modes and followed advice from other experiences, this did not fix the issue. Additionally the monitor stand is too limited in range, was not able to angle down very far and doesn’t have any height adjustments.

Curved,Looks great, does HDR.
This arrived today so I unboxed it and hooked it to one of the video outputs of my AVR that supports up to 8k and most HDR formats. My Roku Ultra put out a resolution the monitor liked so I found some non copyrighted demo material to see what it could do and how it looks. Once I got the picture dialed in it actually looks really nice and was displaying HDR10 nicely at a claimed 4k but pretty sure the monitor was playing 2k. I’m sure there are better looking gaming monitors but it looked really good to me, especially for the typical asking price. Now I just have to tear down this PC setup and see if it will fit in the spot on my desk and whether my older video card can actually do 2k well enough to feed it.If your looking for a nice curved gaming monitor that wont break the bank this is a excellent choice.

Loving this monitor!
This LG 27GS60QC-B Ultragear 27 inch QHD Monitor is working out great. The image on the screen is crisp and bright. So far we have had it on both a Mac and a Windows computer and both have been easy to setup and worked flawlessly. The instructions were easy to follow and so far everyone in the family that has used has loved it.
