Customers say
Customers like the taste, appearance and material of the water purification unit. For example, they mention it tastes great, it’s easy to clean and it has an excellent design. That said some complain about the size, saying it takes up too much counter space. Opinions are mixed on filtering speed, quality, value, and ease of use.

I love this thing
Sturdy and beautiful. Itâs a bit heavy when itâs full but thatâs because itâs thick glass. I love how it looks and my water tastes great. It holds more water than I thought it did. I understand it says exactly how much it holds but when you pour it the top empties out quickly due to the shape. The base is very wide though so itâs deceiving kind of. Thereâs plenty of water in there that lasts me all day, multiple days if Iâm not super on my water intake for the day haha. Look, I donât know what people are complaining about this pitcher filtering too slow. Does it come out as fast as your faucets? Obviously not. It filters faster than the stream of water coming out of my fridge though. I think the videos of it dripping painfully slow are when the reservoir you put the water to be filtered into is low. You have to put more water in to get the stream to start coming out quickly again. If thereâs not a lot of water in there waiting to be filtered itâs gonna start to drip slowly. It seems pretty common sense to me. Maybe people just have zero patience. I wake up, take it out and fill it and set it aside. Start to do whatever I have to in the kitchen, like make coffee, clean, make food etc. In like 3 minutes of doing tasks itâs filtered the water that was in there. I put more water in it and just try to keep topping it off. All said and done it takes about 20min maybe to fill from empty. Iâm still in the kitchen doing things. Itâs really not a dramatic pain like some of these reviews are making it seem. Personally I donât super trust filters where the water just goes through as fast as your pouring it in. Also I bet these are the people who pour themselves a glass of water from a water filter pitcher and never top it off before putting it back in the fridge. Thatâs all you really have to do. Anyways, Iâve had this pitcher for a little over a month now and I love it.

Fresh clean water anytime
These water filters are visually beautiful. I keep mine on top of the kitchen counter for easy access throughout the day. It does take time for the water to filter but once the pitcher is full it dispenses quickly which I like. Refilling is as easy as bringing the pitcher directly under the water faucet allowing the top to automatically open without having to remove it. Very convenient! The most important part, the filtered water tastes great! I would also keep the pitcher in the frig so I can have chilled water on demand. The 7cup size was perfect for me but I would consider the 10cup size if your family drinks a lot of water. The silicone base is a great added feature that helps from slipping.

Slowly makes good tasting water
Good:This is more attractive than the other pitchers I’ve used, and nicer to have on the counter. The water comes out tasting good. And so far, tea made with the water from it is fine, although I haven’t tested it thoroughly yet (only one tea session so far).I also like that I can fill it without having to remove anything or flip anything up–the little fill flapper moves down automatically when you pour into it.And I like that the purchase supports safe drinking water for people around the world. But:You can’t see how close the reservoir is to getting full because it’s not transparent. And you can’t track the progress of water through the filter because the reservoir has no window and is not transparent. I have to push down on the little filling flapper to see how much water is in it.If you try to pour from it too soon after filling, the unfiltered water in the reservoir comes out. This is common in such pitchers, but again….most have transparent reservoirs so that you can judge when you can pour without this happening. The reservoir is only 2 cups, and the capacity is 10 cups, so you have to fill it 5 times for one full pitcher of filtered water. And, as many reviews have stated, it’s really really really slooooowwwwww to filter. I am hoping that it will speed up a bit with time–this was hinted at in some other reviews.Other:Can’t really speak to ease of cleaning yet; I do think the glass of the pitcher will avoid the algae/scratch problem that plagues the plastic pitchers–where scrubbing to remove spots of algae creates scratches that encourage algae growth. And preventing that on the plastic parts is probably why the reservoir parts are not transparent. But that does lead to it’s own problems as stated above.I’ll addend and revise this as I spend more time with it.

Love it and love the taste of our water
We always had Brita pitchers handling all of our filtering, and I never had any issues with it. But my wife read a couple studies that claimed they werenât as effective as a lot of folks originally assumed (still better than tap I would guess). When we got this LifeStraw one, the first thing we noticed was how good our water tasted. I thought placebo maybe, but weâve had it over a year now I think and whenever we drink other water we always end up missing this stuff. The Brita filter filters extremely fast, from the beginning to end of the filterâs lifespan. Thatâs the one downside to this LifeStraw system. Again, weâve had it a year or so, and it has never really sped up. Iâll fill the whole reservoir up completely, and let it sit. Typically it’s well over 30 minutes until that water is completely through the filters. We actually bought a second glass pitcher to hold filtered water in so we always have some ready to go. It just takes so long. I suppose itâs a good thing, we know the water is being thoroughly filtered, but damn itâs hard when weâre all out and waiting on water to get through!Either way, we love this thing, itâs great and worth the money.

Great tasting water
I love this pitcher, I can taste a difference in my water. Itâs high quality and easy to clean. The one downfall is the filter is very slow but I guess thatâs what you have to do for great tasting water

I donât know if it really does filtration well but water tastes good. It has very small capacity so you need to fill it up a few times. Made well in general

I went from a brita to this pitcher and i love it! Filters a lot more of the strange taste my cityâs water has, and also is large enough for my needs! The filters may work a little slower than other brand iâve used, but perhaps thats just testament to how good it is!

This has been a great buy for our 2-person household. I was worried the pitcher would filter slowly because of some reviews on this page, but we find the filter works fairly quickly. We love it!

Toller Filter. Soll sogar PFAS rausfiltern.
