Unnecessary, but awesome at the same time
I ordered the standard black and grey color, but was sent the “ghost” white version instead. The color wasn’t a huge deal for me so I decided to keep it, but I would’ve preferred the one I ordered. This is something that’s been on my watch list for a while. Ever since seeing this product for the first time, I’ve wanted one. When I originally added it to my list, it was more expensive. As the prices came down, it became a bit more attractive. Honestly, I still had a hard time spending the money on a largely unnecessary can opener. That said, I’m glad I did! After reading and executing the instructions, this thing is a little tricky to use. Even after getting the hang of it, it doesn’t work perfectly every time. Most of the time though, it works perfectly and leaves no sharp edges.Drinking out of the topless can is strangely pleasurable, especially when it’s beer. You get the scent of your beverage without pouring it into a glass, and I believe it enhances the taste. Although some would argue that you don’t need this opener and you can just pour it into said glass (true), it’s a game changer for sure.Lastly, the day after I received the Draft Top LIFT, I was heading to a party. My wife suggested taking this with us, and it was an absolute hit! Everybody at the party was interested in this gadget. I got plenty of practice as I found myself opening everyone’s cans throughout the party. It worked on everything from the kids soda to the adult beer and seltzer. I’m sure I sold a few of these for Draft Top.Summary: Do you need it? No. Should you buy one? Yes! Just do it!

Works perfectly!
Love this! Works perfectly (read the directions that it comes with) and turns cans into cups! I wouldn’t recommend it for taking the lid off of a can that you want to drain the contents, since it doesn’t recess into the can – but that’s not it’s main purpose! Highly recommend!

works, kind of.
pretty easy to use, however, doesnt seem to want to cut the can the entire way so you have to mess with it, however when its off, it is a smooth edge and is nice. kind of hard to not squeeze the can as you start cutting as well. overall not bad though

Worked well on aluminum can.
As I occasionally have a need for a topless soda can, I have always cut the top out with snips but that always leaves an ugly edge. This tool seems well made and did an excellent job of removing the top and left a much nicer edge. The trickiest part was getting the tool off the package. I’m not sure how it would work with the older steel cans but you don’t see them much any more. It appears well designed/made but many will probably find it a bit expensive. I’m not sure how to rate the durability as I’ve just received it and only tried it on 1 can.

Very easy and a nice change to your brew!
Easy and if you make sure the tab is in the right spot, the top lifts off effortlessly! Good price and seems to be made of good plastic.

Sharp Edge & wrong color
Itâs a pretty cool party trick, when it cuts properly. Pictured is my 3rd attempt, and itâs not doing a clean cut. Additionally, I ordered a gray one, but got a white one.

Amazingly Pointless
This thing has to be the biggest waste of money and time I have ever purchased! With that said, Iâm glad I bought it.Itâs cool, and performs as advertised, sort ofâ¦Rather than rolling the lip like the adds suggest, it seems to cut the top out from above but does leave a smooth drinking surface for your lips. No complaints here.Letâs be honest though, it takes half a second to open a beer as sold. This adds a completely unnecessary step in the process. Itâs not needed, but itâs cool and Iâm happy to have one.My only concern, and probably why they sell options for multiples, is its durability. It seems to be made well enough but Iâm not certain that the cutting mechanism will last under heavy use.

Almost Perfect
Works as intended far cleaner than trying to use any can opener and way easier. However, mind you my situation is not typical due to my condition, I do find it bit difficult to squeeze the tool. Ideally you could squeeze once and it would stay clamped down as you twist the top off without continued applied pressure. I find any twisting of the wrists a difficult motion, especially on repeat. It is a 100% marked improvement to any other method I’ve tries before and most would not be using it more than once at a time so for literally 99.9% of people with normal wrists this probably isn’t a problem at all. I’m using mine for an art project and this will definitely save me time and energy since I need to flatten a lot of cans (if only it could remove the bottom too), but I can only really do 3 at a time before I risk injuring myself. I’ve removed about 10 tops so far give or take and it still seems sharp so far. The tops do fall into the can every now and again, but my cans are empty and sometimes it isn’t a perfect ring so it leaves a little metal curl which could be dangerous if you’re not paying attention. That could be just the way I’m holding it and user error. I may update later after a certain number of cans if i reach a point it needs to be replaced with a new blade.T.L.D.R.Much cleaner than a can opener, easier than a can opener, if you have weak wrists like me be careful. Recommend this so far.

Works great. Came as described

Absolut alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Funzt auch mit den schmalen Softdrinkdosen. Bleibt kein scharfer Rand zurück!

I’ve bought several of these, the ones I’ve bought previously have had 4 cutting wheels, and none have worked. This single wheeled model is fantastic, worked perfectly first time, love it. Probably best to crack the ring pull first and push back down, just so it relieves pressure and prevents any mess. No sharp edges or shards of metal in the can, fantastic product, literally does what it says on the can. 5 Stars.

Because of the varying review videos, I thought this would be a gimmick, but if you follow the directions properly it actually does a great job.
