Absolutely thrilled with the MOES Portable Carbon Monoxide Detector!
This little gadget is a lifesaverâliterally! The compact size makes it perfect for travel, whether camping, in your RV, or needing an extra layer of safety indoors. I love that it monitors temperature, humidity, and CO levels, giving me peace of mind wherever I am. The alarm sensor is loud and clear, alerting you in any dangerous situation. Plus, the bright orange color makes it easy to spot. I highly recommend this for anyone prioritizing safety on the go!

Effective unit but not two second response
I got this product to verify whether carbon monoxide could be accumulating in my vehicles. Since carbon monoxide has no taste, odor, or color the only way to verify operation of a detector is to test it. However if you have any symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning such as headache, weakness, dizziness, etc. immediately leave the area and don’t wait for a precise reading. In this case I hung the product off the side of my truck outdoors and zoomed in with a camera and left the truck running. While the temperature and humidity clearly changed within 2 seconds per the product description when I stepped outside, this was not the case with carbon monoxide detection. Looking at the timestamps of the pictures it took a couple of minutes before anything registered at all, after which the indicated level of carbon monoxide detected went up quite quickly, even though the exhaust flow from the idling truck was uniform and constant. The pictures and video attached show the reading increasing over a time of about three minutes from 0 ppm to 84 ppm in the steady flow of truck exhaust. The video includes the sound of the alarm when it goes off. Other products with a similar form factor did not pass this test, but this product did. While the response of this product to carbon monoxide was not as quick as described in the product listing, and the alarm is not as loud as smoke-detector (which the vendor did not claim), the unit clearly worked well and had a significant audible alarm. I am not a medical professional, but it seems to provide adequate warning of a dangerous condition, and I am satisfied that it meets my needs as a valuable safety device.

Small, portable, easy to plug in.
The digital display is reasonably large, bright and easy to read. The monitor will show you the level of carbon monoxide (in parts-per-million), temperature, and percent humidity of the surrounding air.Based on all of its features, I give this product 5-stars.

Great form factor
Love the large, easily readable numbers. Charges quickly, easy to clip anywhere in a tent. Haven’t set off the alarm yet but peace of mind is great.

Works great.
I got this thinking it was a CO2 meter, not an CO meter, however, thankfully I needed both. After breathing on it and thinking, “this didn’t pick up anything” I realized it said carbon monoxide detector, not carbon dioxide detector. I’ve had a CO detector that hasn’t worked at all, so I wasn’t sure how fast or effective it would read the CO from my car, after placing it near the exhaust pipe it shot up immediately, and set off the alarm! As I moved it away from the line of exhaust coming out, it slowely drifted back down to ambient levels (zero since I had only ran the car for a couple seconds) and went even faster down when I blew fresh air in through the mesh vent on the side. I’m very happy to see this thing works, and I got it just in time for winter, since here in Michigan, I park inside, but in an unheated uninsulated garage. So while it doesn’t get much below freezing, and I don’t have to deal with ice build up I do have to worry about CO build up when starting my car and getting it running. I don’t want to have to warm up my car with the door open if it’s much colder outside than in, because it’s attached to my house, and will cause a much greater temp difference inside the garage. Giving me a very small window of time to be able to warm up my car safely. This thing will give me a little peace of mind as I’m getting in my car this winter to know how long it is to be safe while warming it up inside. This is no way a recommendation. NEVER RUN A CAR INDOORS. And you shouldn’t rely on something like this to save your life. However it’s a nice peace of mind if I get my car going and forget to open the door while I fiddle around in my car or inside, and the alarm will help tell me to GET THE DOOR OPEN AND GET THE CAR OUTSIDE, or shut it off! Great little piece of gear. And I’m glad I got it. A version that has wifi, or Bluetooth and the ability to send you messages would be awesome, but that’s just a thought, not a grievance. It has temp and humidity on it, with one button that switches between F and C.I have no complaints so far. After the first test it seems accurate and working. I’ll update after extended use if anything changes. I would recommend. Remember this is a reminder, and a back up. Not a tool to use to try to out smart some dangerous deadly gasses.
