Crazy Fast for it being through an electrical outlet!
I just purchased and thought I would give the Nexus link Wave 2 a shot. Wow super easy to set up. Just plug into a wall outlet near the router and another at an outlet near the device you want to use and you are off. For me this was perfect for an area of the house that I needed better streaming for my ROKU. I must say it seemed so fast and I finally am free of the pixalate or freeze of my internet TV. Awesome little device! I highly recommend giving it a try.

Didn’t work with a caveat
I wish ratings weren’t so limited so let me clarify. I’m sure these work fine but in my case I was setting them up in a 30 year old house that might have power cabling too old for these to be used. I could never get a signal between them and I suspect it’s the age of the house and the type of electrical wiring installed. In a newer house my guess is these work fine so take my 3 star rating with a grain of salt. Packaging was fine, they seemed to power up without any issue and were working as they should except for the signal between the two devices….. again, most likely the house wiring not these devices so while I couldn’t use them I would still recommend these for newer homes and I have used powerline devices before with great results. Hope this helps

works but itâs annoying
disconnects often but never while using? weird. otherwise you can get like 50-80 mb/sec through your outlet not bad, with latency around 11ms which makes gaming nice. only need like 30mb/sec to play online so im happy. have 3 of these working around the clock. but when one disconnects, others follow suit, and suddenly youâre running up and down the stairs pressing âlinkâð on the adapters for 20 mins until theyâre all linked up again.

this aint your Grandma’s Ethernet over Powerline
I remember when plugging in your phone charger would knock out your powerline… but no more. They’re on Wave 2 of G.hn technology and it seems pretty resilient. My house is around 20 years old, so that’s the age of the electrical wiring. Using a laptop and a speed test, both a 3′ Ethernet patch cord and my Wave 2 powerline get the same speed, with the powerline on the first floor, which is on the other side of the house from 2nd-floor router. Yep.

They actually work…
I didn’t expect to get the speed my isp provides through these things, but they actually work. I can recommend these instead of running cable around.

Powerline was used and didn’t work
I am not able to review this powerline. I received used and unknowingly. Didn’t realize for some time. Because internet connection was unknown. There was even a label left on powerline indicating which room. It was placed in by previous customer.

Not as fast as it should be
I previously used Zyxel 2000mbps powerline ethernet; however, they became unstable after 2 years of use and needed to be replace. Unfortunately, there seems to be a shortage of these types of devices or perhaps they are not made any more. My rental leaves no other low latency options (besides exposed cables), so I decided to try these devices. They technically work, but they’re much slower than Zyxel. I would peak at 150 mbps before. Now I’m lucky to break 70 mbps. Since there’s no other option, I guess I’ll keep them.

Synced Up with Others Easily
Just needed another. Worked fine with previously purchased units.
