A Great Value!
Been using it for nearly 1 year after purchasing and no complaints. The colors are surprisingly accurate out of the box and the performance isn’t that bad either. I recommend this if you are a avid PC gamer and don’t want to spend a sizeable chunk of money for a good gaming monitor.

Despite the 4-star rating, this is a great bang for the buck display
I needed a new display. Only having a RTX 3060, I was going to stick with 1920×1080 and 24 inches. I spent quite amount of time looking for a display that had everything I wanted in it, mainly the res, size, and being height adjustable were deal breakers, and ideally wanted speakers and pivoting. I preferred IPS but VA wasn’t totally out of the question.I knew the Monitors Unboxed YouTube channel seemed to like Pixios somewhat for this range and they tested fairly well, so I looked at them but was disappointed their recommended PX248 Prime Advanced didn’t have height adjustment. Purely by chance I looked at the Pixio product page and saw the PX248 Pro listed, I hadn’t seen this model listed when I searched for 24″ 1080 displays on Amazon. I found it by searching by name and was happy to see it ticked all the boxes.Even better, I waited another week and Pixio had a sale, making the PX248 Pro only $135! So that sealed the deal and I ordered. The stand for the display seems very sturdy, made of metal with plastic covering. Well made for the price. The package included a 1.5m (nearly 5 feet) DP cable (I ended up ordering my own because I wanted just a little more cable) and uses a “wall wart” type AC adapter for power. You might have to plan for that if you don’t have the free space for an adapter, though it was fine for me.The screen arrived with zero pixel defects. The red seems a tad strong, I adjusted it down a little for me, but the colors look good. The cons – a few things kept it from me giving it a 5 star. The speakers are terrible. My previous display had speakers and I used them all the time, they sounded pretty decent. These ones, I’d have to say barely usable. Fine for system noises, but not so much media. So I’m having to pull out an old pair of good speakers from retirement to use again. The screen does have some light bleed in the bottom corners, this is what made me consider if I was going to send the display back the most. I’ve decided it’s not something that reminds me it’s there, so I can live with it, especially for the price. And don’t forget to turn the brightness down after you get it, as usual for tv/displays, it comes nearly maxed. There’s a few minor esthetics I’d have liked changed, I’m not crazy with the power light being on the right side of the display and more importantly that it blinks amber when in stand-by (why blinking?? Just make it solid on) and I don’t like that there’s no dedicated power button. If you want to turn off the display, you have to press and hold the multi-function button for 3ish seconds (the instructions weren’t clear on this, just that you could turn it off with it). It’s not something I’ll need to do often, but once in a long while I may leave the computer on to do something overnight and I want to make sure the display won’t turn on.So overall, I’d say a good display for $169, a great one for $135. The PX248 Pro is a good, cheap gaming display. Just don’t plan to rely on the speakers.

Incredible price for a great monitor
165 hz is incredibly smoother than 60 – 165 is noticeably smoother than 144, toopicture quality is good (it is 1080p)colors are fantasticviewing angles are perfecthardly any ghostingone con is the monitor stand gets in the way of the mouse, but it’s ok cause you can swivel the stand sort of awaythe stand has good adjustmentsi was worried 24″ was gonna be too small to enjoy gaming with coming from a 27 inch, but you really do just get used to ityeah, it’s awesome

Works great and super cute!
The monitor works amazing! Pixels look great and it runs super smoothly. Iâve been looking everywhere for a white monitor in my price range and this was it! Usually speakers on monitors arenât great, so I wasnât expecting much from the sound. However the only con was that the sound that does come from the monitor is really quiet. Recommend just buying some separate speakers!

Good value for the money
Pros:Does what a 1080p screen should. No issues getting it to run at the advertised refresh rates, two HDMI and two DP inputs. Seems like decent color quality. No dead pixels, and I love the thin bezel. No extra frills, decent specs.Cons: Pictures on Amazon for it are slightly out of date since it doesn’t show the correct inputs on the revision I received. Power supply is a barrel connector with a wall adapter at the end, and the total length is ~1 meter. Personally I am neither a fan of the wall adapter nor the short lenght, I prefer a standard cable with the necessary transformer either in the screen housing (if possible) or a box inline with the cable (ex. standard laptop power adapter) so it can more easily fit with power strips/surge protector. A 2m total length would give more reasonable flexibility. Also, the labeling on the inputs (and specs) advertise DisplayPort 1.4, but they include a DisplayPort 1.2 cable. It works for what I need it for, but why the disparity? No HDMI cable included, but those are quite readily available…but it can be annoying when one is not in the box.

I bought this monitor because it came highly recommended on YT -especially by Optimum Tech and Consumer Tech Reviews. I’ve had it for close to a month now and it really delivers on quality especially at such a low price. Colors are nice and accurate, refresh rate goes up to 165Hz with the included display cable, the brightness is decent, and the stand is top tier in my opinion. The viewing experience is great and so far, I’m happy with the purchase. The monitor has some in-built speakers which aren’t the best but get the job done. You get your money’s worth there. No issues so far, great monitor at a great price.

This is a brilliant monitor!I have this connected to my Xbox Series X and allows me to play optimised games at 120fps.A nice crisp 1080p panel provides a great picture for any game I have thrown at it.I also have this monitor connected to my laptop as an extended display. There have been no problems so far with this monitor and it is worth every pound, a great cheaper solution for your work/play needs!

I paid 189$CAD so I’m reviewing for that price. I never heard of Pixio before. I just learned that the CEO is a gamer so I would trust this company. 24.5″(25) is not the usual size but it’s the perfect size for 1080p content, I think bigger than that and you have diminishing returns. I don’t know if the stand is good, I’m using a VESA arm. The colors are kind of good for a cheap display like that. I almost left the settings by default and my video games were beautiful. HDR350 is kind of useless, but with Windows 11 Auto HDR you can have surprising results. No man’s sky with Auto HDR is just incredible. Resident Evil 2 remake with HDR is really cool. It’s not true HDR1000 but it’s sometimes usable. I will definitely try Windows 11 Auto HDR with every modern games just to see if it’s better than SDR. So I’d say it’S useless to usable sometimes, don’t buy it for that HDR tag.I could plug my wired earbuds in the monitor and the sound is good 24bit/96 (actually better than my computer Realtek drivers). The 144hz is impressive (first time experimenting it), I already can’t go back to 60hz/60fps after 1 day so be prepared. I would trust this company any day.A little con but I’m not sure if I can fix it with settings or this monitor just show you bad quality content: Youtube videos and Twitch stream I watch are sometimes low quality and this monitor shows me every bad codec pixels from these kind of video content. Watching big 4k HDR video is impressive so I guess this monitor don’t like lower quality content! Might be a setting somewhere, or a flaw at some point because not a lot of things I watch is super quality on the Internet. But. For that price, can’t, get, better, than, this. Final point.

To be honest, at this price range, I was not expecting much. However after watching a few reviews and looking at some fellow customers, I decided to bite the bullet. And man, I’m glad I did, it’s far beat my expectations and for the value is a top notch monitor.Playing games at 144hz is absolutely amazing with AMD Freesync enabled and overall you won’t find a better monitor at this price range in my opinion of this quality.Top things to point out:144hzIPS panel1ms latencyAMD FreeSyncEasy and clear control panel. The only thing I would say negatively is that you cannot adjust the height, which is something I would find very handy, but it has very impressive tilt functionality and being an IPS panel, the viewing angles are brilliant.

I was able to used it at 144hz with hdmi. Great color, great image for 1080. Gaming on this is awsome. At 24 inch, it’s too big for 1080 if you plan to use it for work, word processing for instance, but that’s no fault of this monitor. Just not enough pixels for 24 inches. I would go for at least 1440, or go down to 20 inches.
