Great Meeting Headset
I attend multiple conference calls during the day and was using a stereo wired headset with less than average comfort ear pads. I wanted a comfortable wireless headset purpose built for phone/conference calls. This headset checks all the boxes and more.Included: Headset, charging stand, usb bridge, black storage bag (neoprene exterior with felt interior), charging cable (usb-a to micro usb), small instruction booklet for poly software install.Headband – The headset feels sturdy and well made, the top band is metal, providing rigidity. The height adjustments click as you extend and retract and hold in their place well once adjusted. My old headset would readjust when I would extended it over my head when I put it on, the Poly adjustment holds firm.Earpads – they are on-ear and are very comfortable and soft, so wearing for several hours is not a problem.Speaker cup – The mic side has the volume controls and are easy to use. It also has small LED lights showing if you are on a call or off a call.Mic Arm – The mic arm is very solid and picks up my voice easily and clearly. It folds up in the center for storage. The mic arm can fold to either direction for Left or Right side preference. When it folds up, during a call it will toggle the mute feature.Mute button – The mute button is easily accessible on the mic arm and when you press it, it tells you if you are muted or unmuted. (great feature if you are not right at your desk) When you are muted and a noise happens or you talk, it will tell you “Muted”. However, this will only occur after the first noise, so if someone near you says something or you type, it may pick that up and say “muted”, and will not tell you again.Wireless – I really enjoy being wireless, I don’t have to worry about pulling on a cable, I can get up and get a glass of water while on a call. The USB bridge has a good connection throughout my house.Power switch – When turned on, the switch has a green colored area clearly showing you its on. When you switch it on, the unit tells you if its connected and its battery life.Noise Cancelling – The noise cancelling is ok, its nice to have on the low setting during a meeting. Hearing my own voice sounds clearer when its on. The high setting is tiring on my ears after a little while and I have to turn it off.USB Bridge – The provided usb bridge is to connect to a computer, I prefer this over using bluetooth. The USB also has a light showing if you are on a call (Red) or off a call (Blue). Nice feature if you have people walking up to your desk.Charging stand – The charging stand holds the headset firmly, the bottom has rubber pads so it doesn’t scratch your desk. It plugs in via USB to charge, no AC adapter is provided.Poly software – This runs in the background in taskbar, tells you when the headset connects or disconnects. The app will tell you battery life and in taskbar provides some ambient noise choices (Mountain Ranch, Gentle Ocean, Babbling Brook). Can setup alerts for disconnects, low battery.Storage – The earpieces swivel so the unit is somewhat flat when you place it in the provided zippered cloth bag. The provide bag also has an interior zippered pocket to hold a charging cable and usb bridge)I am very happy with my purchase and have recommended to some of my colleagues.

Awesome Work-From-Home Headset
I’m pretty sure this is the best pair of headphones I’ve owned so far. Here are the main pros:1. They are extremely comfortable. You’ll notice they sit on your ears a little differently, and that is because they are naturally bending to fit the shape of your head. I can wear these for hours with zero pain, whereas my previous headphones would start to get really painful.2. The mic noise cancellation is awesome! Granted, I combine it with Slack’s noise cancellation settings, but that said I can literally grind coffee and it doesn’t get picked up by the mic.3. The battery is quite good considering what it is doing.Cons:1. The noise cancellation (as far as what you hear) is fairly minimal. If you’re looking for total isolation this is not the headset for you. For me, I don’t really like to be totally isolated so it’s not a big deal. It definitely eliminates sounds like my computer fan, but not so much voices in the other room (they are just muffled a bit).2. There is a glitch currently when I happen to be sitting in silence with no music playing (in fact it happened while writing this review). Suddenly the noise cancellation stops. This can feel jarring because you do get used to the quieter environment. I’m not sure what causes it, but I do know that once you start playing sounds or music again it resumes the noise cancellation.Other Note: There is a fairly minimal delay when using the wireless dongle. Nothing huge, but if you are gaming you might notice it. Fortunately, if you plug in the USB cable you can get sound with no delay, so it’s really nice to have that option! All in all, this is about the best value for the money you can find for a great work-from-home headset that won’t break the bank!

Good but not great
Pro:- Build quality is top notch and durable. I take this in the carrying pouch and put it in my laptop carrying case all the time and there’s never an issue. I’m sure I’ve dropped it a few times and it still works. Looks like a professional device.- The call sound is clear. Audio sound is clear. Good bass if you’re using for music or other MP3 or video watching on mobile.- I haven’t used too many of the advanced call options because it’s paired to my cell for my office. But the call functions that apply to cell phone use all work correctly and are easy to figure out.- Battery life is great, and it charges quickly. I’d recommend getting the charging base. Makes it easier than constantly plugging in with a micro-usb.Cons- Sometimes I wear it on one ear only for a bit if I’m multi-tasking, and when I put the other ear back on, the sound isn’t there. Turning the unit off then back on usually fixes this.- The noise canceling while on a cell phone can make your own voice muted and hard to hear on the other end. When I use noise canceling, it’s on the lower setting.- If you have it paired to multiple devices with bluetooth, sometimes it takes it 15-20 seconds to connect to them both. This can cause issues connecting it to your cellphone fast if you’re charging it when the phone rings.- I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be able to, but it won’t charge while being used at the same time. So plugging in a micro-usb while using it to charge it doesn’t work.- Not as comfortable as I would like it to be. After an hour or so, my ears start to hurt and I have to take it off between calls. Not sure if more padding would help or if it’s just the shape of my own ears.Overall – it works nicely most of the time, but the things that seem like small issues can become annoying when it’s every single day for every single call.

Audio is very clear (both speakers and mic) which is the most important feature for me. Comfortable enough to wear for a couple hours but not all day. It’s a little big & heavy compared to what I’m used to.I didn’t find the noise cancellation setting for the speaker made much of a difference, but I tend not to use it. The mic seems to have good cancellation and doesn’t pick up much background noise. It’s been quite reliable compared to my other headsets, I’ve been using it for a few weeks and haven’t had any pairing issues or other random issues where it just doesn’t work. Never had battery issues and I only charge every other day or so.Good range using the USB plugin, I can be 20+ feet away and it still sounds good.If you rigorously move around a lot (walking) this might not be the best choice as the adjustable overhead strap creaks a bit when jarred.Overall very high quality headset, good range, with great audio.
