The perfect stand for those who want to take a stand
When I first encountered this tripod stand, I thought, “Finally, a sturdy podium for my cat to judge me from new heights while I ponder my next move in life!” This versatile piece of engineering prowess certainly adjusts from 26 to 56 inches, providing just the right altitude for profound laptop usage or a dramatic presentation of my excessive number of streaming subscriptions. Kudos to the designer for adding a mouse tray, so I can pretend to be productive no matter where I amâbe it room, office, or an accidental teleportation to the utter wilderness. While assembling it, I didn’t feel like a genius inventor, but the process was manageable enough that I only questioned my life choices about five times (not ten, which is a win in my book). It is sturdy enough to withhold the weight of my existential dread and possibly even an expensive projector. But take heed, dear buyer: it’s a projector stand, not a substitute for life coaching. So if you, like me, find joy in multi-tasking between being slightly productive and profoundly whimsical, this stand might humor you without breaking its own supportsâor your sanity.

Very solid portable stand for use with a projector, laptop. Hard to store.
This is a very solid stand for putting a projector or laptop on it, but there are definitely some small issues.Pros:* The whole assembly is very solid and stable with the legs spread out.* It was easy to put together with clear instructions that included pictures and words.* The height can be adjusted a large amount so you can use this platform seated or standing.* The parts fit together well, so no issues with machining or manufacturing.* It comes with two carry bags to hold everything.Cons:* They include a foam pad that you put on the top tray. This foam is not very strong or thick. I don’t think it will last very long. If you have a sheet of rubber or can cut up a large pad to fit, then this issue is fixed.* The “mousepad” is attached to the platform by hooking two tabs into corresponding loops on the platform. It is easy to knock off.* To lower the platform below halfway, you have to partially disassemble the column, which is inconvenient.* To store in the included bags requires partial disassembly. If you use it regularly, you’ll want to keep it assembled and collapsed. The bags would only be useful if you use the platform on occasion and don’t mind assembling/disassembling it each time.Considering the price, it is a very good value. If you only have occasional use for this kind of stand, then it is a good value option. If you require something to use every day or need to move it around a lot, you may want to look for a higher-priced option that is easier to stash.

Nice general purpose stand. Two height ranges. Light but not cheap.
I like this stand, and I regret waiting so long to get one. It can hold a laptop, projector, sheet music, effects boxes, drinks, etc. You can spread the feet wider for more support or fold them up and lean this in the corner, taking up very little floor space. This is efficiently made and very solid. There are many flimsier stands out there, but I trust this one to hold a few pounds of my gear, no problem.

It holds a laptop well
This will hold a laptop up to a height around 52″. At that height, you’ll want to put the tripod legs out as far as they go for a steadier base.I think the tripod legs could have been a little wider. I tested this and, if it gets a good bump in the direction of the space between the tripod legs, it’s going over. At least it is at the max height. Not as big a concern at lower heights. The laptop shelf itself is well designed and sturdy enough for being how lightweight it is. The lips of the shelf may interfere with connecting power and USB to the laptop. The mouse extension is not great. I have to exercise a kind of light touch on the mouse or the whole shelf feels wobbly. It’s portable, but not really convenient. It comes with a bag to carry it, but the unit must be almost entirely disassembled to go in the bag, including some small screws. As a musician setting up at a gig, I don’t look forward to setting this up or breaking it down. The bag itself is also not durable. It’s not going to last long for gigging in my experience. I will be looking at a better and larger bag where I don’t have to disassemble this quite as much.Overall, even though I’m pointing out my concerns, it does match the description very well and the build itself is decent. No problems putting it together and making adjustments that are tight.

so many details not solved well
starting at the top, the screw holes are not counter sunk. The tray will not fold up when attached. the foam padding is loose. The wrong screw was used for the angle adjustmentThe second tier of the tube column will not collapse into the base column. Only the 3rd tier is hight adjustable. To lower the tray even more the colum must be dis assembled and a collar must be removed. To finish it all off you must completely disassemble it, and risk loosing some of the screws, just to get it in the carrying pouch, which is a nice touch, but unusable here.

Stand Up
This stand is just okay for me. It was easy to assemble but not sturdy enough on any surface (e.g., carpet, cement, wood flooring) when feet are extended all the way out. The removeable mouse pad tray is flimsy, so I will never use it. I got it to hold a small 13-inch MacBook or a lightweight turntable (vinyl), but after setting it up, I didn’t feel comfortable placing either item on it. If you use it, it needs to be in a place that is out of the way because one good bump, your stand and item thatâs on it will be on the floor. Itâs probably best suited for something light, like a plastic plant displayed in a corner.

Sturdy projector stand
I got this stand to use in our office conference room for holding the projector when we are having meetings. Very easy to assemble. Stand is very sturdy with little risk of the stand falling over unless someone intentionally pushes it over. Plenty of surface area on the platform for larger sized projectors. The projector is secured to the platform with a couple of elastic straps. Stand is height adjustable. And the angle of the platform can be adjusted.
