Better Than The Wolverine V2 Chroma
I’ve had the Wolverine V2 Chroma for years and loved it but the controller is a bit worn down and I did feel like it could be better. I saw this come out of nowhere and had to get it. I can definitely say it is an improvement for sure. The feel of the controller feels as sturdy and heavy as an Elite 2 which I like. It just feels like better quality over the V2. The back buttons are also like Elite controller which I know a lot of people prefer. I have big hands to the back buttons of the V2 didn’t bother me as much but this was an improvement most people wanted. I will say the D-pad is a bit smaller. As someone who plays fighting games, this may be an issue but so far not that much of an issue. These d-pads still are not the most accurate as I would like and find myself making mistakes when I play Tekken 8 online. If there was a feature I would want to see in these “pro” controllers, it is that they have changeable d-pads that come with one that are more fighting game friendly. I find that the the Xbox Series controllers still have the best d-pad for fighting games.Overall, even though this is mainly for shooters and action/adventure games, it does work well for fighting games. Especially if you use it wired with PC tournament mode on. I did notice the response time was a little bit better when I had it set to the PC 1000 mhz mode. Keep in mind, I am just a dude and not Digital Foundry so it may actually just be marketing bs with a placebo affect but it did seem to make a little bit of a difference on online Tekken matches. This has more features than the V2 like the option for wireless and two different wired modes. Better positioned back buttons. RGB lights on front of the controller with the logo instead of on the handles. With just an overall better feel. If there are a couple bad things or things that needs improvement it is that when I turn off my PC, it does not automatically turn off the controller like the V2 did. The controller turns off when it’s battery saving time is up. And that the vibration/haptic feedback is not strong enough. I have the strength set to the highest strength and it is just not strong at all. It may be due to being on the PC mode but I am not sure. After playing with the Hyperkin Dutchess controller, that controller has some real kick to the vibration and I preferred that.Best pro controller you can get for PC/Xbox right now. However, it is expensive. Thank god for monthly plans.

The best controller period!
Let start off by saying I have Owned Victrix BFG pro, scuff envision, Razer wolverine pro 2, King Kong max 3, apex 4 , beitong elite 2!each of these controllers had their pros and consBut the Wolverine v3 pretty much eliminates all the cons the other controllers had!The way the new micro switches on the back are positioned also the way they are slanted down. The bottom micro switch paddles are Towards the end of the bottom of the controller where my ring fingers naturally rest. And my middle fingers naturally rest on the upper paddlesI gamed 30 hours on this controller and not once was hands uncomfortableThe bumper buttons are so Good to pressThe D-pad is awesome! The face buttons are not as sensitive as an optimum switch BUT they are still good to press! The anolog sticks are Hall effect. Iâve never experienced stick drift with these sticks.Iâve never experienced a single drop using the wireless capabilities. Before using the wolverine pro 2, Iâve had drops the wireless cut on and off during gaming which was very frustrating. But using the V3 there was none of those issues. The triggers are also very good. You can toggle for a short pull where itâs almost like a mouse clickand toggle it back to full pull. The grips on the handles are very comfortable not rough and not too soft itâs just rightOverall this is the best pro controller Iâve ever Owned. And it will be my main one for along time!!I really highly Recommend this controllerAnd again take this from a person that has owned all the controllers listed above at the beginning of this review!!!!

Great controller, smaller hands in mind
Thumb sticks are miles better than previous generation. Mouseclick triggers also a nice upgrade, feels better in the hands by providing better feedback. Placement change of the back buttons is my only gripe as it makes the controller difficult to hold, I’m sure I’ll get used to it but it does make the controller feel very cramped imo. Overall happy with the controller, option of wireless is also a nice addition for couch play and such

Been using the Wolverine V2 for a year and V3 improves in almost every way. Joysticks are more precise, the back buttons are in a much more comfortable position and along with the tiggers, they have that satisfying mouse button click feel. Lastly and best of all, it’s WIRELESS with zero lag!

Received this with stick drift!A $250 controller with HALL EFFECT and it came with stick drift. Unacceptable and returned swiftly.Slow and janky program to manage the controller effects and settings.Controller is a lot smaller than the default Xbox controller so it was uncomfortable for a male that has medium hands like me. Seems like this controller was made for toddlers in mind.On a positive note, buttons are tactile clicky. Trigger / Bumper toggle is nice for switching between racing games and first person shooters.I recommend this if:You like stick drift ??You have small handsLike to spend over $250 on mediocre hardware.
