Works good.
This works exactly as stated in the description. I ordered this RIIPOO HDMI Video Capture Card, 4K USB 3.0 HDMI Video Capture Device for my son, he uses it to record games. My son said it works well, the audio and picture quality is good.

Audio wouldnt work
While not the easiest of set ups it was reasonably straight forward using Windows 11. I used OBS as recommended and it found the proper device after adjusting a few settings. The video recorded ok but the audio was just a buzz. No amount of adjusting settings, changing cables or using different inputs would change it. Sending it back and trying a different one now.

Helps Save Those VHS Tapes!
Picked this capture card up, so I could “digitize” my collection of VHS tapes, and it works great. Of course you’ll need to supply your own VCR, but the card is basically “plug-n-play” with modern iterations of Windows. This capture card works with CVBS (composite video – yellow RCA plug), and S-Video, as well as allowing for 2-channel analog stereo audio in. Simply plug the ‘card’ into any standard USB-A port on your PC, open up your preferred video conversion app, plug in your analog playback device (VHS machine, etc.) and you’re ready to convert- in real-time, of course. No driver was needed, using Windows 11. As mentioned in the product listing, this card works well with several “free-ware” applications. It’s working great using my old VHS player and OBS for capture. I love it!

Misleading Product Title, but a Decent VHS Video Capture Card
I really don’t like misleading product titles. This one includes the false statement “VHS VCR TV to DVD Converter Adapter.” This product does not make DVDs. What it does do is take output from VHS players and VHS video cameras and converts the signal into a digital stream via a USB connection to your computer. But in order to capture the digital stream and make it playable as a video file you will need a program on your computer. I used the most excellent Open Broadcast Software (OBS) which is free and opensource and available for Linux, Mac and Windows. The card was accompanied by instructions on how to use an older version of OBS. I found setting up to record VHS video not difficult. But I already had some familiarity with OBS.Given the above, get ready for a trip down memory lane as you digitized those long neglected VHS home videos. When I pulled out the first tape to record using this video capture card, I was greeted by a beautiful memory nearly forgotten. Priceless.

Good budget video capture card
An actual Video Capture Card. Not a pass-through HDMI to USB converter, which is what a bunch of similarly-titled products but actually are instead.HDMI in (from your source) and out (to a monitor) on one side, USB out(to your PC) and power in on the other side.Works flawlessly right out of the box for me. Granted, only in 1080p by output from a phone and haven’t tested in 4K but I’ll give it a benefit of the doubt with the price being so affordable.
