Good value monitor with a funny amount of features
The picture quality is good, no noticeable ghosting and the response time is equally unnoticeable and so excellent. The colors on this monitor are definitely a bit more saturated but what this leads to is neon lights and bright colors to look fuller and to pop out more which I think looks really nice and should be how they should look. The HDR setting at this low of a brightness isn’t too impressive, I barely notice a difference if there even is one but it is nice to know that technically this monitor has HDR.Another feature of this monitor that’s nice to have but is halfbaked are the speakers since the speakers are awful. No bass, all mids, low quality, low volume, but you’re most likely not going to be using them anyways so they’re just kinda nice to have.Yet another feature that’s nice to have is the RGB lights that are on the back of the monitor. You will almost never notice them especially if you have the monitor against a wall like I do and especially since the LEDS aren’t all that bright, but hey: you got cool lights on the back of your monitor that you can change the lighting effects of one time when you first get the monitor so that’s cool.Another feature of this monitor is the stand but what makes this feature different from the previous ones is that this one is actually quite good. The stand does have a little tilt forward and a fair amount back and it can swivel side to side a good amount but what’s most impressive is that the screen can be flipped vertically which may not seem too useful for most but for me, reading comics on PC has never been better especially since the resolution of the screen is 1440p so I can take in all those small details which I may have missed before.Oh, and speaking of 1440p, this was my first 1440p monitor (excluding the previous one I bought which I disliked greatly and promptly returned and bought this one to replace because of the terrible ghosting), and I have to say that the increased resolution isn’t too noticeable at a glance (I wouldn’t upgrade to 1440p if you don’t have the power or money for it and I’d rather focus on getting a 120hz or more 1080p monitor first) but if you pay attention you’ll notice that everything is more clear and just simply prettier and that the pixels are far and few in-between. 1440p and this monitor have been a real treat to me so far and I would highly recommend getting this monitor as it is great and great for the price.

Best Purchase I’ve Made In A Long Time
I’ve been looking forward to the chance to review the Sceptre 32 inch QHD IPS Monitor (HDR400 2560×1440) since it arrived, because I’m so pleased with it.Background: I’m a value buyer — translation: a cheapskate — so I look for good deals to be able to stay within my very limited budget. The first thing this Sceptre monitor impressed me with were its specs. My research didn’t turn up any other monitor with comparable specifications anywhere near the under-$200 price of this Sceptre. Not to mention that the manufacturer lists this unit for $649 on their site.(These days, flat-screen monitors — like this Sceptre — are probably in less demand than curved monitors. That didn’t matter to me. Your mileage may vary.)While I’d never heard of the Sceptre brand before, their web site says they’ve been in business since 1984. (That’s about as long as I’ve been fiddling around with computers.)Everything worked perfectly out of the box.Getting it out of the box took some doing because this sumbitch is H E A V Y!It was extremely well packaged and protected and arrived in pristine condition. Some of the weight is attributable to the monitor’s size and the beefy stand. But it’s also ruggedly constructed — especially the included stand — and both the fit and the finish of all parts and surfaces are first-class, and a definite “pro.”When I first turned the Sceptre on, my reaction was, “This sumbitch is B R I G H T”!Text is clear and sharp and the large viewing space is a whole ‘nother world from my previous 27″ monitor.(Bonus: The monitor arrived with an unexpected “monitor cover”: a light blocker and privacy aid for the sides and top. In my setup the monitor is backlit by a large window directly behind it, so this feature really saves my eyes during daylight hours. While advertised as a gaming monitor, the ample real-estate of the 31.5 diagonal screen means text is large, crisp, and clear — a real blessing for my aging eyes, even though I don’t spend much time playing games.Monitor has built-in speakers, which I don’t use. (One of the reviews I saw mentioned noise from the speakers, but I didn’t notice any when I tried them.)I’m not the best person to review gaming equipment, but as an all-purpose computer monitor, and for my needs, the Spectre E325B-QPN168 checks all the right boxes. There are better monitors out there, I am sure, but nothing else I saw was this good in this price range.Pros: Quality build, superb fit and finish.Excellent performance specificationsVery BrightAdjustment menu can be viewed on screenIPS screen144hz2560x1440DP 1.2, HDMI 2.0 and 2x HDMI 1.4 inputsTilt, angle, and height adjustableCan be used in horizontal or vertical modeBuilt-in speakers, for those who want themBest bang for the buck.Cons:Flat screen (not curved)Control buttons may be difficult for some to reach on rear of unitHad never heard of the brand before

It has excellent image quality provided you stick with the SDR visual mode, the colours really pop for an LCD screen, which amazed me. It also has amazing response times, great low input lag, next to no ghosting, and also great variable refresh rate (VRR) support for both PC and consoles. Now, the bad: It has terrible muffled speakers, very limited RGB that barely lights up, an audio jack with meh quality (use your computer’s instead) and a bad HDR implementation (makes the screen gray). I think all of this can be forgiven given the price and it’s not a big deal since there’s a workaround for every single nitpick. Except RGB, which isn’t exactly a deal breaker to me. â This is a wonderful product for gamers especially! You get a lot of value for your buck.

I use it as a second monitor to assist my Asus ProART and for the price, I have nothing to complain. I use it for WEB, and other simple work and it is perfect!

I’m using this Sceptre monitor as my main monitor, primarily for remote work. I also have two other Sceptre monitors at my workplace, so I’m quite familiar with the brand. This monitor is reliable, handling about 10-12 hours of use daily. It’s proven to be very durable. The higher refresh rate syncs well with my MacBook, so thereâs no lag on the screen. It also features some RGB lights on the back, which add a fun touch if you’re working in the dark. The monitor supports both HDMI and DisplayPort connections. However, it doesn’t come with an HDMI cable, though a DisplayPort cable is included. Note that you can’t use monitor holders with this model as there are no compatible screw holes on the back. Overall, I’m really happy with this product.

Was having a weird issue where half of the screen was brighter than the other after a while of having HDR enabled.Other than that, it was a nice monitor while it lasted.
