Customers say
Customers like the battery life, comfort, value, and fit of the headphones. For example, they mention that it lasts long for their kind of purpose, the cushions are very soft, and that they’re good for the price. Some appreciate the sound quality. That said, opinions are mixed on performance, appearance, and quality.

Very good headphones for the price.
For the price these are excellent headphones and a worthy candidate for “daily driver.” For me, these are computer/desk headphones. That is my use and that is probably how you should plan on using them as well. The cushions are very soft but the fit itself is on the firm side. Because the cushions are soft, they are nice and comfortable. Because the cushions are soft I’d be hesitant about getting too much sweat in them at the gym. They won’t fall off– that’s not the issue– but I’m guessing you don’t want to get the cushions wet. Are they durable? They sit at my desk. I thought about stuffing them in a “getting too full” backpack for a flight recently and I declined to do so. If you are really going to be putting them into very full bags maybe see if you can handle a pair in the store before making a decision. On the desk? As long as you aren’t yanking these things off you should be fine.Sound review? This is hard because there is so much that goes into it. I’ll give it a shot. I can’t talk about leakage because I’m not usually around people when these are on. There is no noise cancelling but the fit and the pads do an okay job of getting rid of a lot of background noise. These replaced some Koss Porta-Pros and some old Sol headphones as my main laptop headphones. (That’s where I do most of my work.) So yes, I’m running off a laptop. No fancy power sources. They can get nice and loud and not bring in any distortion. That’s good. I guess these are probably “somewhat warm” sounding headphones. I listen to some vaporwave and a lot of metal (black/thrash and such) so I think I cover the need to hear all levels and ranges of sound and don’t have a need to focus on one aspect over the other but I guess the elephant in the room is always bass? It handles bass pretty well. It isn’t an overly aggressive bass sound but you can hear it nicely and distinctly. There is some punch to the bass but, to be sure, it isn’t at the level of beats headphones (and I like beats, but they are also a lot more money). Listening to some of the raw metal recordings, the bass is nice and it handles the distortion and rawness of metal tracks very well. So, the bass is good to the extent that the headphones generally maintain a consistent and clear sound-profile. And there is clearly more bass than more clear or neutral sounding headphones. It isn’t necessarily a bass heavy headphone but it is definitely bass capable. I can make the volume louder or softer without introducing any more distortion and I don’t have to listen to it loudly to “hear” the music. These are very good headphones for the price. The four stars is because the headphone market is brutal and these are four star headphones, especially for the price. They are not magic value headphones that you would/could pay +$150 for, or something like that. That is, in my mind, going in to five star territory. For the price you will probably pay for these on this site, you are getting a really great pair of daily drivers and they are easy to recommend. I’m considering getting the (a) blue-tooth version of these.

these headphones sound amazing
bass is nice and smooth, get plenty loud for me, they aren’t audiophile quality or anything, but they are a great budget pair of headphones if your looking to buy some, these are the ones i would recommend.

Great sound quality, ear comfort and volume, bad construction flaw as shown in all other reviews
I buy the wired ones for the price, comfort and sound quality. They work great in almost any situation. Plugged into my google pixel, into an Xbox controller as a chat headset, whatever your need as the wired ones do have the mic. I’m on my 7th pair for the family. As an adult, I take care of mine and do not place them in backpacks with heavy items. My pairs last. My kids, however, blow through them each year for school. The pairs that stay at home are fine and don’t snap at the cheap plastic head adjustment point. My children take less care and they all snap in the same location making them unable to be worn again. If skullcandy would just reinforce that spot with a metal reinforcement rod running in those action-spots then these would be amazing.

Emotional Support Headphones
I absolutely LOVED these headphones. I say “loveD,” because I recently left them on an airplane when I traveled to Guatemala. I was heartbroken. They’re the best headphones I’ve ever owned, and I’m old.Now to the reasons I loved them. I can’t use earbuds, because I have strangely tiny ear canals. Earbuds hurt and also constantly fall out. These headphones are lightweight and comfortably padded even under the torturous sun of the southern United States. The quality is great. Full disclosure: Apart from the recent use for entertainment while traveling, I exclusively used them to listen to podcasts while mowing, so head to another review if you want specifics about bass, treble, or any other music-specific characteristics. My only complaint about them is that they take a couple of hours to charge, and the battery drains quickly even when they aren’t being used. I call them my “emotional support headphones,” because they encouraged me to start tedious tasks. Mowing was only the beginning. Just before their untimely loss, I discovered that they were also useful for encouraging me to wash dishes and fold laundry. The possibilities were endless.

SKULL CANDY AS A WHOLE
people love to complain about skull candy when is comes to quality of product, id argue those same people are expecting a low cost headset be of the same quality as a headset priced at $500You have to keep in mind 1.the price skull candy is selling their products at. and 2. the tech their putting into their products. This product is being sold at $49.00, which is well below some higher end brand name headphones that i would argue is of comparable audio quality.these headphone are great, wearing them to the gym or while I’m on a jog feels super comfortable and honestly with my experience with skull candy products as a whole these things last a good while. i don’t plan on Replacing these for a while unless skull candy releases something even more enticing!

Very good headphones for the price
I love everything about these headphones, especially the color but mostly the sound. I listen to a lot of dubstep and other heavy bass music and these are not only comfy for long periods but sound great, 9 out of 10. 9 because they feel sort of flimsy and could break if I’m careless. I have Bluetooth earbuds that sound great too, but I don’t like using them all the time like I do these.

Works great in the gym
These were recommended by my teenage son. Teenagers know about headphones. These were about $20 and have done a great job for over a year. They sound good enough for a gym environment. I haven’t don any serious listening with them but they have made no mistakes so far. They are not schrill they have good bass, they are comfortable and neutral sounding. They are still working after many hours of use and travel.I would recommend these.

I was reluctant to buy these due to a lot of reviews saying that the plastic headband is prone to breaking. I figured I’d give them a try anyways, and if they broke, well, then those people were right. Turns out that’s not the case though!I have been using these for 14 months now, DAILY, because I work from home, and they are still looking and working like brand new. I take them off and put them on easily 20-30 times a day. Sure, I’ve been gentle with them when taking them off/putting them on and hanging them on my desk, but I think everybody should take some care when doing that anyways.Pros:- Ear pads are SUPER soft and cushiony (also a con, read below).- Sound quality is DECENT for such a cheap pair of headphones. I’m a bit of an audiophile and will often return headphones if they don’t sound good (and trust me, a lot in this price range and even more expensive don’t sound great). Sure they don’t sound as good as my $300 headphones, but for normal/everyday use while working, they’re good enough.- They look fantastic.- The inline mic is decent (I’m able to have conference calls with it no problem and people hear me fine).Cons:- The ear pads are a bit TOO soft and compress a lot, causing some discomfort during longer listening sessions, probably due to the plastic behind them. Maybe they got worse with time, too.- They *feel* flimsy (BUT they haven’t shown any signs of weakness or breakage yet).I’d definitely buy them again.
