Works quite well but it’s not fast.
I now have two of these for my Bug-Out Bag. I wanted the Bag to be equipped w/ solar rechargeable power banks so I can set it up w/ components that can be recharged; radio, flashlights, phones, and a charger for rechargeable AA & AAA batteries for other items.More of an observation than a complaint, I’ll say these aren’t real fast; both to charge and be charged. Perhaps that’s the nature of these things. It’s not a serious issue as long as you plan ahead, knowing that the you’ll need time for it to do it’s thing; power IN or OUT. For my use the solar charge capability was essential and, while slow, works just fine. The flashlight feature is nice, not sure how much I’ll use it but nice to have. Same w/ the little compass; not sure of it’s accuracy but doesn’t seem too far off. I believe these are going to work fine for my needs. They are a bit larger and fairly heavy to be carried in a pocket but that’s not the way I plan to use them. I’ve recommended them to family and friends and have now purchased two.

Works great! (Read for explanation of slow solar recharge time.)
I bought this to power the fan on an InstaFire Inferno Pro Stove (an indoor/outdoor camping & emergency stove) and for that it works great. It’s well constructed, it has 3 USB ports, the flashlight is nice and bright, and the carabiner clip is a nice touch. However, as others have said, charging by the solar panel is slow; this is NOT a design flaw nor is it an underpowered solar panel. Doing a bit of research, most solar panels for a power bank in this size and price range typically provide 400-500 mAh. The capacity of the battery on this unit is 38800, so doing some basic math that means at a charging rate of 400 mAh (as listed in the manual for this model) it would take 97 hours to fully charge, and that’s under ideal conditions. In the area that I live, the max amount of sunlight in a day is 16 hours, so that means it would take about 6 days to fully charge the battery. The solar panel is not really intended to completely charge up the battery, rather to ‘top it up’ after you’ve used it for a while, mainly for the flashlight. If you need to be able to solar charge this type of device faster, I suggest you purchase an additional solar charging panel; they can be purchased for $20 or less, and Amazon has plenty to choose from.

Convenient
This product is very convenient and helpful. My grndkids all play sports and sometimes I am out all day with them. The solar charger is so handy to keep my phone and theirs charged. It does take time to originally charge. It is nice that you can charge it with the sun or plug it into the wall.

Broken “Fast Charging” & no QC or PD protocol!. Only supports fixed 2A-5V (10w) per port.
The Solar Charging is useful but so slow that it is almost a gimmick. Leaving the power pack exposed to bright sunlight recharging for long periods of time makes the unit so hot from the sun that it’s internal batteries easily overheat during the recharge and ends up throttling-down the input current. If you are camping off-the-grid, you are better off using separate portable solar panels. The real problem is that my unit did not support ANY Fast Charging at all!The Kepswin product description states “Fast Charging” but my unit did not correctly support any USB fast/quick charging handshake protocol, even on the USB-C port. The ports could only consistently provide 5V-2A output (10W)!I returned it.Details:I have bought a couple of very similar 38800mAH solar power banks from different manufactures and each had their own different problems. I tested with a USB Power Meter and this particular model (orange color) did not support any “Fast Charging” at all. The ports could only consistently provide 2A-5V output (10W)! Even when only one port is being used, after the first second of 3A-5V 15w output the ports switch to the lowest 2A-5V 10w output. The total for all 3 simultaneously charging ports is 30W but no single port consistently gives more than 10W !Though it did eventually recharge the QC phone, it took 3x longer than a functional “Fast Charge” should have taken and I didn’t want to carry around both of these devices connected together for that much time. And of course this means it could not recharge a ChromeBook that requires a minimum ~30W of USB-C PD power.Because it would have taken a too many hours to complete, I didn’t bother to verify its labeled 38,800mAh rating (equivalent to 14,560mWh = 38,800mAh x 3.7V) by measuring both the total Watt-Hours to fully discharge and then recharge the power pack. (FYI – Watt-Hours is the only correct way to “measure” power pack capacity.)Since I couldn’t even use it for QC charging, I returned it.

Great solar charger
This charger has helped out there in power outages, trips to glacier national Park, and routine charging when cables werenât available. Does a fantastic job. The handy LED light also works great

Doesn’t hold as much charge as expected, but is compact and works ok
I bought this for a 5-day camping trip. I have been using a different solar charger for years. My first charger says it holds 30KmAh, it’s larger, heavier, and can recharge my device over and over. However, I was going to be camping with a group, and I wanted to have a backup charger, so I bought this one. It says it holds more charge than my first one, and I was impressed that it is a smaller device; much easier to put in a pocket or purse. However, I could only get about 1.5 charges out of it before I had to recharge it. I can’t tell if the solar panel works. I can see lights blinking when it is placed in the sun, but if I plug in my phone, it drops down to one light. I think it will work fine as a back-up and for short trips. As mentioned, it’s only a bit larger than a cell phone, so it is much easier to keep in my purse than my other one, which is quite heavy. And it will work in a pinch when I’m out and about, but is not sufficient for a multi-day camping trip.

The Kepswin Solar Charger is not working properly. Item could not be checked by the date of return due to insufficient sunlight due to monsoon. Now found that the charger is not working properly. There is no contact anywhere to change the item. Very disappointed
