Love the auto focus
Good picture. Sound is pretty good but I usually hook up my Bluetooth speaker.

Happy
I went with this projector for the portability so I can use it for camping and in the backyard for NY Giants games. Tested it out in the house, seems great

Not user friendly
Do not recommend. Pay attention to the fine print. Thereâs no way to stream anything on this without a Roku or other tv toggle. Spend your money on something with the streaming apps built in.

Fabulous For Summer Nights Outside
I’ve reviewed quite a few projectors lately, and have owned many. I absolutely love watching movies or tv shows on a huge screen and my TV’s seldom get used these days. When I had the chance to order and review the Yaber T2 Outdoor Projector I jumped at the chance. There are three main things you look for in a projector, the projected image (size, resolution, sharpness, color, brightness), Connectivity (Wifi, Bluetooth, manual ports) and the build quality. Obviously price is an important variable too and that can affect the priorities of the aforementioned attributes! The Yaber (who came up with that brand name, seriously…) ticks a lot of boxes. The native resolution, whilst not being 4k is full HD at 1080p. I find the image to be pretty good when viewing 1080p content. Absolutely no issues there for me. Brightness nets out at just 450 lumens which is on the low side. You 100% will not be using this during the day or even at sunset. This is a night time projector! The model I have features WiFi 6 and Bluetooth, but has no operating system so to speak. I have added a Fire stick to cover all apps and it’s been perfect, just need to consider how you power the stick and have a stable wifi connection outside. There is a matching Google dongle from Yaber sold separately but I haven’t looked into that. Another alternative is to stream directly from your phone or tablet wirelessly or via USB cable. I have not tried that yet.Audio wise, this thing has JBL speakers and they are great! Dolby audio is onboard to help pick up and define the sounds. Power wise this is 16 watts in total for the inbuilt speaker. I really enjoy the sound given how small the unit is. It’s not the loudest but if you are outside with not a lot of noise in the background you will need no external speaker (unless you really want to amp it up).The big selling point for this is the battery inside! I wanted this for a 4th July BBQ with friends. We have a patio with a large white wall and I thought it would be cool for everyone to watch sports and a movie outside at night, which we did and everyone was super impressed with this projector. The battery is advertised to last 2 and a half hours. In reality we got to the end of a 90 minute movie and we had to plug it in. There was a little juice left so i’d like to say you could probably get a 2 hour movie on the battery or 2 tv shows. The build quality is very good and it feels reliably well made. There is apparently a 3 year repair warranty and 6 month returns. That seems a little too good to believe but could also be an indicator of how reliable these machines are.Given the sub $400 price tag, this is a great option for outdoor viewing and I can highly recommend this.

Absolutely Love this Projector!!!
I’ve been dying to write this review for the Yaber T2 Outdoor Projector. Ever since I opened the box, I’ve been impressed with the design and performance of this projector. BUT!!! My testing didn’t completely go without a hitch. I almost gave up at one point. So very glad I didn’t… stay with me.First thing I noticed when I received the Yaber T2 was the quality of the packaging. Opening the box, I found the cables and projector to be very orderly and well protected. The projector is very solidly built and well thought out. You have numerous options for standing up the projector including using the handle to tilt and position the projector, and yes… you can even attach it to a tripod! The projector is not overly heavy and sits securely and safely on a standard camera tripod. And here’s where the fun testing the unit begins…Keystone Angle is the term. It basically means the ability of the projector to adjust the image to compensate for the angle the camera is sitting at… got it? Another way to put it is… the ability to move the camera out of it’s own way so people can see the screen. In the pics I’ve included, you can see that I was able to position the projector just below the screen, this so the projector is not in the way. But this was no easy feat. It took several tries as I would get Keystone angle errors frequently as I was trying to position the projector. It doesn’t like to point up very much. But after several attempts, I was able to find an acceptable viewing angle.Next came brightness. This one baffled me for a bit. On the home screen the projector was plenty bright and looked good. BUT, if you’ve ever watched any of the more recent Star Wars shows such as Acolyte (on screen) you’ll know that these shows are set against a typically dark background in low lighting. They can be a real challenge to watch sometimes. The T2 initially was no exception to this rule. You can see in one of the pics that the picture is VERY difficult to see. But when I went back to the home screen the image was bright and beautiful. In fact, I noticed that I could see the projector adjusting the picture quality as I switched sources. Then it hit me, the projector is processing and adjusting image quality and having difficulty with the darkness of the images. I tried every “automatic” image mode available. I couldn’t get any improvement in picture. This is where I almost gave up, and then I tried “User Mode”. Boom! Perfect picture. Beautiful, like the home screen. I’ve included a pic of my user mode settings and the “after” picture once tweaked in user mode.So let’s quickly cover a few other pieces of info. The remote that comes with the projector is the key to properly operating and setting things up. So don’t lose or forget it. I used an Ethernet cable to update the firmware on first use. Update and network config (automatic) worked perfectly. I connected to Wifi and got good performance. Also used Wifi and “Smart View” to mirror my phone’s screen (and watched videos), worked perfectly. My best picture and performance was using a USB-C to HDMI cable from phone to projector. I didn’t use the JBL speaker(s) extensively as I have others setup for movies, but what little I did use sounded good. Other than the initial setup and update of the firmware, the projector ran on battery and battery life was good. I would plug the projector in to charge between uses.I have used a projector on the back porch for movie night for some years, a good one. This projector (once properly tuned) beats it across the board for a fraction of the cost. My one wish for this projector is that it had better Keystone Angle range. I would really like to make this projector disappear while watching movies. This is an easy 5 stars. Can’t wait to use it on a camping trip!

Design, Brightness, and Sound ALL are Superb!
I have reviewed several projectors, and every time there is something wrong or missing that I notice in the projector. However, this projector has nearly everything I like about a projector: it has a great compact build, is very attractive and highly functional, has full HD resolution, great brightness, good image quality, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, great compatibility with different OS, and great JBL speakers. What more could I need? It also has a good battery that lasts around 2 hours, which is perfect. The build quality seems sturdy and reliable, and it has great software that updates when needed. I appreciate the handle and stand feature, as it is very helpful. The only thing missing here is the buttons on the projector’s body, so if there is no remote, this means you can’t fully control it easily. However, it’s still a great option for outdoor activities. Highly recommended!

Awesome outdoor projector
This projector is awesome and I would highly recommend it. We have used it several times camping and it has not failed us. The picture quality is perfect. We have also used it in our garage for movie viewing. It worked very well in there also. Good price and good quality.

I ordered this portable projector through the Amazon Vine program because I wanted a way to watch movies well camping and outdoors. This little guy packs a big punch. The projector can be used indoor or out. It can hook to your phone . Your local Wifi. A USB drive or any HDMI source. It comes with a nice remote. A power plug. A HDMI cord cloth and a lens cover. It has a carry handle and amazing sound. The weight seems fine. Not the lightest but by no means “heavy”I was happy to see it had a standard sized screw on the bottom and hooks to just about any tripod. It hooked two a few of mine no problems. The projector has a built in auto focus and auto keystone feature. You can also control them manually. There is no apps or extra things on this projector. It basically hooks up third party electronics . Phones, computers, Consoles, TV boxes, Flash drives. You can download a app to use as a control and cast your phone to it. Or cast it to your phone. Or use your phone as a remote control for the device. It is pretty awesome. It can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker alone. It also has built in NFC so you can just touch your phone to the top and cast instantly.I had the projector hooked up to a 120 inch projector sheet. I got it around 100 inches and it still looks pretty good. Played some movies. Some YouTube. Even hooked My Xbox series S up to it. Worked flawlessly. It projects at 1080p. I took it camping and was able to watch a 2 hour movie with it no problem. The brightness goes a bit darker when it is on the battery . It enters a power saving mode to conserve on energy but for the most part it works great in dark areas. The projector has done 2 firmware and MCU upgrades since I have ordered it. Which is awesome. Always nice when a company keeps the updates and upgrades rolling for their products. They are supposed to come out with a separate tv dongle for it as well. That should be pretty cool. The sound is phenomenal on this projector. It uses JBL speakers that sound really good with music or movies. You can really pump the sound loud as well. The basses are medium and the treble is a bit high but you can adjust this with the equalizer on your phone to make it sound perfect. I was really surprised at the sound quality. Just using it as a Bluetooth speaker was pretty epic. All in all I love this little guy. It is so cool. A fair price for a very tough well built portable little projector with a great picture and suburb sound. I can totally recommend it. Thanks a ton Yaber!

This is the first projector I’ve ever had, and I’m blown away by it (I don’t even have enough room space anywhere in my house for this to project a satisfying size screen, but it’s ridiculously impressive in the small areas I’ve found regardless)You’re pointed towards an app / giving permissions for screen mirroring and such with your phone, if you’re also uncomfortable with this, it works a charm with HDMI, no such privacy concerns. I used this to project a third PC screen onto the ceiling by having it as far back as it could go in the room. I’ve not got space whatsoever so it was extremely distorted due to the weird shape of my room, but it was still quite impressive, managing to focus and give a clear picture. The audio from it is quite nice, too, as you would expect from JBL. Brilliant little gadget, would definitely recommend!
