Great value, impressive battery life, good sound quality
Overall great quality, especially for the price. I am very happy with them.
The sound quality is very good for a true wireless IEM. Don’t expect them to sound like full-sized audiophile headphones, but they are Very good for what they are. These are not the active noise cancelling version but the physical sound isolation is good enough for shared office use. They will accept most aftermarket memory foam ear-tips, but most will not fit in the charging case when attached. Manufacturer has their own that should fit, but I haven’t tried them yet.
Any complaints are all pretty minor. I initially had some microphone and latency issues using these with my Windows PC, but customer support was great and helped me get the problems fixed quickly.
Pros:
– Good sound quality for a true wireless.
– Excellent battery life
– Great customer service.
– Good fit customizability with provided ear tips and pads
– Good price
Minor Cons:
– Microphone is good enough but not superb
– Initial setup issues that were Windows specific, but easily fixed
– Occasional connectivity issues but easily fixed by a reset
– Call answer button doesn’t seem to work with Microsoft Teams on Windows
– No built-in mic mute function

Big sound, lovely bass, sweet mids & highs
And yet, another update people! 12/14/23
December now, warranty almost expired, I had some issues with my between pros, which needed addressing. Some I was able to resolve myself, and the main one was the left button started acting up. Itâs become temperamental, and works when it wants to. I love my pros out of all the TWSâs I have. Build, design, features , and most importantly the sound is amazing. So I was gutted that the left monitor was running into problems. I usually dread dealing customer support, cause you donât know what youâre gonna get. There are two criteria that are most important to me, when buying products. One of them being, the products sound interesting enough to want to buy them. And the other is, the customer service experience. Iâll take one, though Iâd prefer both. If supports good, you have a better chance of getting the results needed. Or the products good enough, where you have little to no problems , down the road.
Fortunately, I received the best of both worlds. Status Between not only made an awesome set of TWS in the between pros. Their customer experience was second to none. They replied to all of my correspondences giving stellar support, and without fail, replaced my buds. They came yesterday, 12/13/23. So, Iâm over the moon because I got the âbest of both worlds â. And that, to me speaks volumes. I love my between pros, and loved also the customer support they gave, when I most needed it.
Thanks Status for demonstrating to me you value your reputation, your customer relations, and their total experience, with you. Thatâs why I can say with confidence, I highly recommend considering Status, if youâre in the market for a very good pair of TWSâs, and excellent customer service, and support Just one note. Two actually. Iâm not really that into the (was on the fone outside in windy conditions, and my party never complained about not hearing me) ANC, and transparency features. But theyâre there. My priorities lie with the sound, which trumps everything else. The between pros keep surprising me with their performance, Iâm sometimes flabbergasted at how well they perform. Watching a movie , in a night club scene the bass speaker effortlessly absorbed the low frequencies and spat them out, with no distortion whatsoever. I felt like I was at the club, the way the speakers rumbled. Out of all my buds, these are hands down my go to pair, all day of the week. I get bummed when I have to take them off. I wanna keep listening, all day long. Itâs that infectious. My opinion, three speakers are better than one. Each one has a job to do, rather than having one speaker do it all. Also, I think less coloring of the sound means you get to hear the music exactly how it was recording. Songs are very different in terms of recording, and the ebbs and flows of the frequencies in each song. Keeping the sound neutral means I get to hear the songs changes, exactly how they were recorded That makes for a much more engaging listening experience, to me. Just my opinion. Again, kudos to Status for making a fantastic product, and providing top notch customer service support, when it was needed. Youâve got my vote.

Quik update: People have (as have I) said they have difficulty removing the buds from the case. I use the tips to easily remove the buds from the case. Itâs thatâs simple. Use the tip pun intended, the tip of the silicone tips to extract the buds from their case. Also, as most require. You have to get a good seal in order to get the best from these buds. The seal is most important for the buds to (boy these things can get extremely low end bass frequencies) produce the best sound and the best bass frequencies. Try, try, and continue to try all the available tips that come with the buds, and (the wing tips help with providing a more secure fit, simply figure out which size wing works for you, I use the medium sized wings) tips you have (that can fit) already stashed from other buds you possess. I use predominantly, spinfit tips for these and two other prime buds I owe, that I switch between one another. See below for more information on the two other buds previously mentioned. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do
Man, you wouldnât believe the list of buds Iâve gone thru to get to this point. A point I finally found something that checks the most important boxes. Such as first and foremost of course the sound. Housed within the casing sits 3, thatâs right 3 separate speakers for bass, mids & highs. These babies pack a punch thatâs warm, sweet sounding and balanced. Iâm not an audiophile like some love to claim, not that I need to be. But these buds are top quality. The housing seems large, but surprisingly and fortunately they fit firmly and comfortably in the ear, with little to no pressure from the insertion. Controls are simple, and functional. This is now, one of three sets I switch with one another. The other two are the Nuarl N6 pro 2, and Beats Studio. Both of which I like just as much. Each one offering pretty much the same specs, except these Status buds have a 3 speaker configuration. No (I could be wrong, but I didnât buy them for an app) thereâs no app, no ANC, transparency mode. But all that is trumped with the ease of use, awesome fit, and impeccable sound. One thing of note is that, I wish the housing was a hardened rubber, or some third party sellers could fashion some sort of protection for the buds that would extend longevity. Maybe someone will down the road.
This ainât the most detailed review I could have given. But Iâm no fan of them usually. Donât have the patience. So, if you want exceptional sound and a comfy fit, with an assortment of tips and wings. Then these are the buds for you. They wonât disappoint. Theyâre worth every penny.

The rumors are true. These earbuds are GREAT!
iPhone 12 max pro. Pairs instantaneous.
Occasionally while streaming from Amazon music, the audio will âhiccupâ on one, but usually both channels. Itâs like the song keeps playing and for <.5 seconds I loose audio. Not crying about it, but it is slightly annoying. No reason or rhyme as to why⦠Iâve backed up the audio and let it play through - it works like itâs supposed to. Sometimes it doesnât do this at all - sometimes itâs every 5th song⦠or 3rd song, but never twice in one particular song. ð¤·ð¼ââï¸ Mix and match the three extra ear tips/flaps to best fit you. Iâve always had issues finding âyawnâ approved earbuds. Heck, some just fall out while turning my head. The fit is so good that it acts like ear plugs and I hear my inner-tonal voice while singing to the music, or my jaw movements while chewing gum. Itâs not ANC, but itâs a close second. The BASS. Iâve had subs in a trunk before. This is that - all the punch of 8âs, 10âs, and 12âs but none of the chest palpitations. Best of all, the mids and highs stay INTACT. It doesnât bleed over or blow out because the driver canât keep up. The more you turn up the volume - the bigger the boost. And thatâs not to say you canât hear the bass at low volume levels either. The bass is on point. From drum kicks to synths. On point. Tested - V.A.S.T. Absolutely Passed The Tea Party - can I have a Sitar to compare IRL? And the vocals ð³ð¤¯ Pink Floyd - sounds in the background I never knew were there. And yes, definitely passed. I thought it was my heartbeat⦠(Breathe) Tool. Passed Viscous Bass (DJ Magic Mike) Passed Goodie Mob. Passed but some of the highs were clipping. I think that has more to do with how the editing was mixed from a pre-digital era. Dr. Dre & Eminem. Both and together. Passed Snoop Dogg - percussion and precision executed flawlessly. Boston. Horns are clear and present. Passed Chicago. Double what I just said about Boston and add in sounds Iâve never heard before. Passed The Crystal Method. OMG. Passed Daft Punk. On point as it should be. Passed. Led Zeppelin. Absolutely passed. Cymbals have never sounded so good! 4D sounds and soundscapes - double check. The earplug effect and the quality of the audio combined makes for a fantastic sound therapy session. The one thing I will add that Iâve noticed a LOT of feedback about: pulling the buds from the case and the case overall size. False and true. Yes, at first I found the earbuds difficult to retrieve from the case. Thereâs just not that much surface area above the case remaining when the earbuds are properly nestled. HOWEVER, after trying a few different ways⦠I have found this no longer true. Look at the picture included and know that my hand size is L-XL in most gloves. Yes, the case size is larger than most earbuds - but for the triple driver setup that fits and feels weightless in my ear while listening to the FANTASTIC sounds itâs producingâ¦. I canât imagine the case being the issue at all (especially the charge it holds and the charging time turnaround). Maybe⦠just maybe⦠someone will 3d print a silicone wraparound for the case that allows you to carry it on a lanyard?? For now, mine fits snugly next to my wallet (billfold) in my cargo pocket. Heck, sometimes I have to place my hand on the pocket to make sure itâs there⦠whatâs that tell you?

I ordered these because I was looking for an in-ear solution for listening to music, watching movies and making phone calls. I had tested my daughter’s AirPods and I wasn’t that impressed by the quality. I was attracted to the idea of the “Pro Monitor” type technology without the long cord. I’m a bit of an audiophile and enjoy full sounding audio. These are really excellent. Rich sound and the sound doesn’t leak out to those around you when you’re listening. The Bluetooth latches on to my phone, laptop and other devices perfectly. Battery life is more than sufficient you can get hours of use out of a full charge. For phone calls, it’s not as clear as when talking directly into the handset, but you’re obviously hands free. My daughter wants a pair of these when her AirPods die.

So, today I just got my Status Between Pro earbuds. My first pair of Bluetooth earbuds. Initially I found them to be a bit finicky to fit, and fiddled with them in my ears for the first hour of listening (also trying different silicone bits) until I figured out how they are supposed to fit and feel. They have to both feel like there is a âsuctionâ fit in the ear. In my left ear this is easy, but my right ear I found needs a more âdelicateâ placement to get this suction feeling fit. Once I figured this out they sounded really great. But like anything, over time you get used to things. So I figured a comparison was in order. I played the same songs back to back on the Between Pro, my B&W P7 (approx $600) over ear headphones, and my Shure SRH840 (approx $380) studio headphones that I use for mixing film soundtracks. I LOVE my B&W P7âs.. they are super natural, I can hear stuff with them that Iâve never heard through even my Totem speakers. They are pretty amazing⦠The Status Between Proâs⦠it hurts me to say⦠very notably better than the B&Wâs and the Shureâs. But only when that suction fit is perfect. But, once you figure how to fit them, oh man.. One example is on Bon Joviâs âDead or Aliveâ. (Ripped from the original CD with Apple Lossless codec.) In the delicate intro with the chimes, the B&Wâs mostly kept up to the Status, perhaps with slightly less brightness, but the B&W needed notably more volume to get the same effect. The thing is, when the song gets to the vocals and drums, the volume on the B&Wâs was way too loud, but with the Status, no adjustment in volume was needed. They just floated into the vocals and the drums effortlessly, and the symbols and vocal between the drums were sharp and bright, but with the B&Wâs, because I had to turn down the volume at that part, the symbols melted into the background more than anticipated and the vocals had less âimpactâ. And when I kept the volume adjusted down, then restarted the song, the result was not even close to the Status. Now, my B&Wâs are well broke in, with a few years use, but they are not damaged by any means. Iâve always loved the way they sound. Perhaps the Status may âmellowâ a bit with break-in, but holy crap, they are pretty sweet. One may say âwell, they just bumped up the treble in the choice of driversâ but they donât feel âtoo brightâ, they just feel like everything that is supposed to be there, is there. Itâs like the difference between a good CD and a perfectly prepared LP on a $15,000 turntable setup. You finally hear what itâs âsupposed to sound likeâ⦠Iâm sure thereâs some $5000 pair of ear buds or headphones that are better than the Status Between Pro, but theyâre $200â¦
Well done, sir. Well done.

Stereo like youâve never heard before.

I’ve had the Sony XM2 and XM3 and these just blow them out of the water sound wise. Bass is punchy but not at the cost of drowning everything else out.
