4KV Lightning Protection
The 4KV surge protection for switch power supply, can protection against lightning risk.
Fanless Design
Sturdy metal casing and fanless heat dissipation design makes the operation silent and quiet.
【Flexible Full Gigabit 8-Port PoE Configuration】4*PoE+ (802.3at/af) 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports providing up to 30W per port and total PoE power budget of 65W, 2 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 uplink ports and 2 SFP ports.(Please note: SFP2 and LAN2 is 1 gigabit combo SFP uplink port, supporting both copper and optical SFP connections. You can use either an LAN2 port or an SFP2 port. But you can’t use both of them at the same time.)
【Active poe switch with 802.3af/at compliant】STEAMEMO poe switches support poe devices and non-poe devices, but when connecting passive poe device or non-poe device, the switch can only transmit data and cannot power your device,so the connected device needs to be separately powered. Or you can use it with active poe splitter.
【VLAN mode】VLAN mode(Turn on the VLAN switch) support isolate 4 PoE+ port from each other. It is easy for this 4 port PoE switch to manage and maintain, prevent broadcast storms, prevent data confusion, wireless networking application data is more stable.
【4KV Lightning Protection】STEAMEMO PoE switch have professional lightning protection design-up 4KV port and power supply thunder prevents, with two levels of protection design respectively, effectively restrain the power of lightning from cable, which equivalent to give the entire network monitoring system with a security fence.
【Built-in power supply】The power supply is located in the poe switch body and integrated with the switch. It is simple and light. After connecting to our AC Power Cable, the switch can transmit power to the equipment connected to the switch.
【Stable, Powerful, Plug&Play】STEAMEMO full gigabit poe switch provides reliable data transfer and Fanless design ensures quiet operation. Plug and play, easy setup with no software installation or configuration needed. Study metal case fanless Quiet Design, desktop or wall-mounting Design.
【Network cable short-circuit protection mechanism】STEAMEMO 8- port PoE switch is stable and has strong anti-interference ability, protect the fault caused by the short circuit of the network port. Short circuit, over current and over voltage protection.
【After-sales service】Electronic products will have various unexplained failures. We provide one-year after-sales service for renewal. Within 1 year from the order, only replacement is not repaired.

Works well for security cameras
I installed an additional two PoE security cameras where I had to go through the attic but getting down to the 24 port PoE switch was very difficult. I did have an existing Ethernet cable going up to the attic that I didn’t use. So I decided to add a PoE switch in the attic. I looked at many models and this was seemed to do all I needed, i.e.* 4 port of which all are PoE+* 802.3af/at* An uplink port* It has hooks in the back so you can put 2 screws in the wall and then hang it flush on the wall.* It plugs right into a 120V outlet, i.e. there is no power brick* 52W of total power should be plenty for connecting 4 cameras.* Offers VLAN, though I am not using it because the uplink goes into a port of the VLAN on which all my other cameras are.* Great price.

Working reliably with security cameras.
PoE cameras are really simple to use with this PoE switch. It’s been very reliable with zero issues. The small size barely takes up any space. PoE cameras have also been great with this PoE switch.

VLAN support + PoE
I bought a small fleet of these switches because my users get confused and try to plug a standard desktop switch into the wall, then plug their VOIP phone into the desktop switch (which doesn’t support either VLAN tagging or PoE, therefore no working phone) instead of plugging the phone into the wall and daisy-chaining the switch from the phone. They work as desired; by offering both VLAN tagging support and PoE delivery, my users can now plug phones into their small desktop switches and have them work without issue. Full gigabit, no problems, everything works fine.I deducted one star from “easy to use” because of a novel feature that unfortunately will confuse the hell out of normal people if accidentally selected; there’s a very small physical slider switch on the front of the device that will break VLAN support if toggled. So if one of my users accidentally slides it, their phone will stop working, and they’ll have absolutely no idea why. Boo.

Review of 8 port POE switch……
STEAMEMO 11-Port Ethernet Unmanaged PoE Switch, 8 PoE+ Ports@100W, 2 Gigabit Uplinks,The switch works out of the box just fine…..The only thing I do not like is when a POE port is feeding power out , to a camera , etc..There is no extra light to let you know the port is using POE……Other than that it works well….I would buy again due to the good price……

Great little switch!!
I recently used this item along with a poe cctv system. I placed this switch in a seperate building from the cctv system at a distance of nearly 300 feet between the two buildings. I only ran one cat5e line between the buildings. Even from that distance this switch powered up 3 poe cameras and one poe powered access point. There was no noticeable delay/lag or loss of speed from the dvr interface or access point. This switch saved me a considerable amount of time and money. It is a relatively small, inexpensive and unmanaged switch and I’m sure there are better switches foe commercial applications but for small residential systems this works great.

JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got this to work with a security camera and expected it to work with the rest of my network. Everything works the issue is that No matter what I do my system (ethernet) has dropped form 400mps to 90mps. If I take the switch off the system I go back to my 400. To add to that try and find a manual for this item. Comes with what is not much more then a pamphlet with not info for this model. My new camera works great for abut 15 minutes then disconnects. Unplug it and plug it back in to the switch it comes back on for about another 15 minutes before disconnecting again. Every time I go to “SUPPORT” I just get redirected to Amazon to by another one. This is nothing but JUNK!!!
