Best all around gaming keyboard for the price with no weaknesses
This keyboard has everything you want for gaming. Only 0.7ms input lag on rtings which is really good. The new optical switches are really consistent and I love how I can switch the actuation point depending on if I’m gaming or typing. The choice between 3 levels of elevation is also nice. For gaming, this is one of the best keyboards you can possibly get. I’m a high-mmr CSGO player and I can tell you this delivers. Your counter-strafing and ability to stop on a dime is amazing. This keyboard can take as many inputs at once as you can press and doesn’t have cord splitting or other artifacts. It’s true 1000hz polling too.You also have a good USB-C cord that’s braided and detachable. You can also keep the tool under the keyboard if you travel to LANs or in general. It’s perfect. You also have onboard memory and it’s very easy to use the SteelSeries software to configure. It’s easy to update firmware as well. The build quality is very good too. They used aluminum in the body and the higher quality PBT keycaps. Also, if anything breaks, you can easily replace the keycaps OR the switches themselves and SteelSeries actively sells replacement parts unlike Logitech for example who only sells switches and not keycaps. There’s really nothing I can complain about. The only thing maybe is that some keyboards like the wooting have release triggered as soon as your key starts going back up. However the wooting has slightly more input lag on direct press and CSGO, Valorant, and most games honestly favor new inputs over releasing inputs anyway. Also some keyboards like the Corsair K65 have 8000hz polling rate which is insane. However with that being said, the 8000hz polling and early release triggering from those competitors really aren’t a big deal and have their own downsides – especially the 8000hz polling because it can actually take up some more cpu usage so I don’t think it’s necessarily efficient at the sub 1ms level.Overall, I looked at all of the popular keyboards for gaming in this price range and this one was the best for the price for my setup. I didn’t talk much about typing btw but I am a megaracer on typeracer.com and it feels very good to type on in the 1.5mm mode + 7deg incline. If you’re looking for a gaming keyboard, look no further, this has literally everything with no downsides.

Perfect TKL Keyboard for gaming and travel… needs a hard cover option
Got this keyboard because I like to setup in hotel rooms with keyboard and mouse, rather than typing up over the high desk that they have in most rooms. This board easily fit in my back pack with all the other stuff I carry and was not too long, which a keyboard with the NumPad is always just a little too long…The keys are VERY sensitive, but that was expected for a light based key switch. I am used to mechanical and this also has a nice click to it while typing, but soft pressing is not nearly silent. My major complaint is the optional software to control the coloring… you need it to save the setting you want, but the EULA is intrusive! Companies are getting really offensive these days and opening customers up to more risk because their Lawyers do not know how to scope a software EULA to customer use cases… idiots.Love it the keyboard, dislike lawyers 🙂

seems to be nice?
had a hyperx origins 60%, this ones clearly better and faster as the actuation point is 1.0mm instead of the 1.8mm on the hyperx. it is very light and surprisingly very nice for the money. you cant actually change the actuation point except from switching from gaming (1.0mm) to âwriting?â (1.5mm)looks very nice with its full just black color, i am having problems with the rgb randomly turning on even though i fully turned it off. i did already end up ordering some white keycaps off of aliexpress so ill add a pic after i actually put them on.

Awesome!
I bought this keyboard after spilling a drink on my previous one, to be quite frank I tend to spill my drinks on my keyboard apparently more often than I would hope.Given that fact, even after spilling yet another beverage on this keyboard and after giving it a quick wipe down and cleaning. The only issue I have is one of the lights not working for a key. (User error is to blame)I love this keyboard! I do recommend this to anyone that is looking at something that isn’t too costly for gaming and everyday use!

it’s just ok…
I had high expectation on TKL 9 pro keyboard because of all the reviews and how they call it better than what used to be my favorite, which was Roccat keyboard.Don’t get me wrong. It is a comfortable keyboard. However, I don’t see much difference in terms of comfort between $2 keyboard and $90 keyboard to be honest. And all the 5 surfaces of the keycaps are black meaning RGB light doesn’t really come out thru the keycaps making this basically non-RGB like appearance. My Roccat keyboard was so beautiful when RGB was turned on.I am thinking about returning this item but we will see….

Great product at an awesome price!!! It costs more than $200+ dollars here and I got it at only $170+!!! An absolute steal!!! The build is premium and feels good! The RGB also looks really good with combination with the build compared to my old Cosair keyboard.

I’ve been using Apex M500 since it launched in 2016. I bought it because of the Cherry MX Red switches, Blue LED matched my setup at the time & the aesthetic looks simple and clean. Here I am in 2024 and the keyboard looks and performs the exact same as Day 1. Although my M500 looks & works perfectly, I think FULL SIZE keyboards are no longer needed for gaming & outdated this time of age. I don’t think I’ve touched the NUM PAD on it ever since I finished school. I wanted more room for my mouse to travel so I’ve decided to upgrade to a TKL keyboard. I did some research and I had a few models in mind but this keyboard (Apex 9 TKL) went on Easter Sale for such a good price so I settled on it. I was kind of hesitant because it’s optical switches but I’m so glad I got it. The performance & feel of these “OptiPoint Optical Switches” is amazing! Happy with my purchase =)
