MUST READ! The SIM card itself is a good buy and fast delivery
The SIM card itself is a good buy and fast delivery So though this review should only reflect this product and seller which gets five stars all the way, the Tello service is another story. Itâs a great service that is affordable and super easy to set up. But the only complaint I have is a huge one that makes me regret ever trying them. They throttle your data down to super slow prehistoric speed after only about a week of normal average use. They slow it down so bad just opening up an app you attempt to use takes four minutes even if it ever does open it which it most likely WONT. Your phone will become next to useless except for basic text messages and calls. Sending a video or even just a plain photo thru text at the very end of your billing cycle just plain old WONT happen. It becomes so insanely frustrating when ur not home on your Wi-Fi and u need to do something super important like check your bank account app asap and u just wonât be able to do it. And I have a new iPhone so itâs not my phone. Sucks because it works so so well and so fast in the beginning of my billing cycle. If I were you reading this review and youâre dead set on trying them, I would purchase one month pay as you go style they offer of âunlimitedâ data for $25 and then you can decide weather or not it fits your needs. But in my opinion, unless you do nothing but call and sometimes send basic text messages, you will not be happy with this service. How they stay in business is beyond me. Itâs god awful. Hope this helpedâ¦.Mind you this is not the first cheaper and less known cell provider I have tried. They are all like this. I had to finally give in and go way out of my budget and sign up for Verizonâs cell service which is damn near a hundred a month (with phone insurance) just to be able to use my phone as it works at home on Wi-Fi. It works AMAZING now. I can do anything I want at anytime from anywhere I would possibly go. I will just have to bite the bullet here on this one and live with the adjustment I have to make on my budget. Sad.

It works great
I’ve had Tello for 2 years now and I don’t have complaints at all. It works really great with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G with Unlimited Data [35gb] and Unlimited Talk & Text for $26 + tax per month. I can even call or text Eastern Europe numbers for free. Those that said “it doesn’t work” may have to do eith what phone they buy “Xiomai phones” for example is a Chinese phone. They can even check IMEI number if the phone is compatible or not before buying the simcard it MUST be Factory Unlocked Phones. So, all I can say is that, it WORKS GREAT basing on my experience and I even ordered a new one the will be delivered in a few days here for my husband to use. It is cheap enough for Unlimited Data and Unlimited Call & Text.

Tello is the best
I love Tello, they have the best prices and service, I have already saved so much money with them and itâs super convenient, the sim card works worldwide!

Tello physical SIM card works perfectly
Activation was easy, I entered the activation code that was printed on this SIM card to my Tello account, and it activated instantly. I have no issues with this product. It arrived on time, quickly, and was fully functional. I used this product to add service to one of my old phones that supports physical SIM cards only, and I prefer physical sim cards more than the eSIM since swapping physical SIM cards are simpler and straightforward than swapping eSIMs with multiple devices.

Not a scam (I don’t think so anyway), just super low quality
All these reviews are hilarious.5-stars: like someone said, “what’s up with all the 5-star reviews?” I agree…..2-star and 1-star: I these people don’t know how cell phones and cell networks work. Here’s my experience. I’m very pro-privacy so I know a thing or two about how the phones work, how the operating systems work, and how the networks work.I have 4 Tello cards. Long story short, I was only able to activate the first card (as a test). My intentions for this service is to have cellular backup, using cellular routers instead of cellular phones for when we have ISP outages, which we have experienced more frequently in the last couple years: slow is better than none.I had no issues with the first card. The card costed me $2 to my door, then a $10 plan for 2GB and a phone number, for testing. One of my kids is currently using it as a backup phone, so it is currently working. About the phone, it is an eBay special Motorola G7, blah blah blah, unlocked, I flashed LineageOS 21 on it. It’s working fine. The next card I tried activating without a phone number, 2GB data-only. This card showed “Pending” for 24 hours, then dropped off my history. Keep in mind, there is no phone involved at this point. The third card, same issue. I even set up a new account to activate, since Amazon will only sell you one card (per purchase), so I thought maybe Tello only allows one card per household. Long story short, I was only able to activate the original card. The other cards are destined for the rubbish bin.Just some education for those who aren’t aware, your old AT&T phone, for example, won’t work with Tello unless you unlock it first. They are “carrier-locked”, to bind you to the service until the end of your contract. Your old T-Mobile phone will probably work, since Tello works over the T-Mobile network, I’ve never used T-Mobile so I couldn’t say 100%.As far as frequencies, I bought a Xiaomi phone about a year ago, hoping to use a really nice phone, but apparently, the frequencies they use don’t match US carriers, so some phones like the Xiaomi phones, none of them will work at all, due to the radios. Yes, check to make sure your phone uses US frequencies. If your bought them in the US, they will probably work.I have a Brax Mototola G7 phone and they reset the IMEI, so as far as I know, all the carriers say the “IMEI is invalid”, otherwise, your IMEI should be fine is you haven’t messed with it. MOST people are not savvy enough to mess with the IMEI, so “invalid IMEI” is pretty rare.As far as customer service, the activation shows “Pending” for about 24 hours, then drops off my history. The last card I tired said “Pending”, then “Refunded”. You have to option to call them or email them. When I reached out to them via email, they asked to verify my identity. At face value, this seems reasonable, but having not been able to activate 3 out of 4 cards, already having my name, phone number, address from my first card, what more personal information do they want? Let alone, “they don’t know me”, what more information can they use to “verify me”? Personal data harvesting much? Back to the “Refunded” comment: their website says you don’t get charged until you are successfully activated. The last card I tried was never activated, why would I get a refund, unless they charged me before a successful activation? In conclusion, if you are lucky enough to get one of these cards activated, it is fine as long as you’re not doing anything demanding with it. I don’t use SMS for privacy-reasons either, so I would only order data-only for these services. Perhaps they don’t want to sell you “data-only plans”. I’m off to find another service and throw all these cards away.

Works great
Had them for about two years now and with their T-mobile provider I have great signal almost anywhereand one of the cheapest carriers. Main reason I switched to them is I have a weekend place with no internet available so needed decent amount of data on Hot Spot and most carriers really limit Hot Spot use of your included data. I current pay a few bucks extra so I have 20Gb/month which allows me to use my laptop in the woods for hours on end and I can watch usually 5-6 movies. Not bad for $20/month

Cheap and good.
It’s a sim card. What’s there to say. It arrived quickly and no issues during setup. Tello has good/cheap plans and good coverage (T-mobile). Good so far.
