No connection issues
Very easy to install, with clear instructions. I’m able to work with no connection issues. Even during a power outage, I didn’t have to pair the devices again. So far very reliable.

Stable internet, improved over time
Hi everyone. Let me say at first I was tempted to pull out my hair over this product. Yes the connection was much more stable than my wifi adapter and booster set up, but the slower overall internet with painful at times. I would no longer be dropped from calls or lose lobbies, but on the other hand I was unable to load videos as fast. A few weeks later though, I realized my download speed had improved to near wifi levels so something must have fixed itself. Regardless of what it is, its a good solution if you are looking for stable internet, and it can get better with time maybe.P.S. do not run it via a power strip or leave a wifi adapter in your machine while using this as a ethernet replacement. Both will severely hamper performance.

Great
My room is the furthest away from our houseâs mounted wifi, and installing this was easy. I went from picking up no signal at all to completely stable internet. My only problem with this is that the download speed has reduced dramatically (over half of the original speed). This also means that if I try downloading files or another update while I play a game, my latency will take a massive hit. It does its job tho if you donât have any other options, just make sure you plan and download overnight.

10/10 if you game get it !
Iâm a gamer and I recently started streaming however my room is all the way in the back and the wifi is not so good so my game went from glitching and being super slow to now running like butter I swear by this product not only is the quality amazing itâs super easy to set up and the size is a perfect fit the signal strength is definitely amazing considering the fact Iâm all the way in the back of the house and my game went from almost unplayable literally to now moving like butter 10/10 if you game get it I donât even write reviews but I remember how stressed I was trying to find a good Ethernet and this is by far the best choice

Works Great – Fair Price
These are replacements for older models, got a few megabits improvements in the up and download dept, connected quickly works fine. I have had good experience with TP-Link products. These are not “wireless” extenders or adapters not sure why these questions are part of the review page.Highly recommended product and brand.

Incredibly easy to use powerline ethernet adapter that DELIVERS
This is a genuinely good product. This is a very high quality powerline ethernet adapter that took literally just 5 minutes to set up. This is a real plug and play product that actually delivers on what it says.Plus, having a gigabit port is really nice for futureproofing. I get about 40 Mbps ethernet speed from my 150 Mbps 5.0 connection. It’s a pretty decent speed considering it’s wifi literally from the power outlet. Pretty much magic if you ask me.

Speed Peaks at 100mbps
While the tp-link app shows that the speed between the two devices is over 500mbps, when the AT&T tech was here today for a different service I asked if he could check my line at the desk where we have a desktop connected. He plugged in his scanner and after several attempts, even with me changing cables a couple times, we couldn’t get anything over 100mbps both up and down. While it is stable and provides near zero latency, it still isn’t giving me anywhere near the gigabit rate that I’m paying for with fiber. I’ve hunted for feedback on other sites, looked for reviews but it appears that tp-link has a stranglehold on the messaging around their products. Very little commentary available. Even reddit is limited to only two or three threads with discussion about how it only allows maybe 120mbps at best.So y’all just be aware that this is NOT gigabit speeds, even though the tp-link app shows 500+mbps.

These work *good*, if you are patient setting them up. Especially if you have no IT skills.
Here are some shortcuts how to get this to work. I have years experience, free advice is priceless. :-)Let’s get the really bad out of the way. There has NOT been a firmware update on these since 2019 when they were released? Jawdrop especially to patch bugs. It earns it 1 star for Tech Support and – 1 star total overall. There is NO reason for this. At. All.My scenario is: My home has a detached garage at the end of my backyard. There was absolutely no scenario to run CAT cable from the house as the main router is in the front of the house. Also no way to use a wireless repeater to extend the signal as it is too far and I have a ton of RF noise around me. I set on Ethernet over power line. Here is the key to get these to work. a) Get familiar with your fuse box. There are 2 sides. Certain outlets are on one “side”. Other ones are on the other “side”. You have make sure BOTH devices are on outlets on the “same side”. WILL NOT WORK if you do not follow this. b) No power strip. Has to be IN the wall jack itself. c) Go DL the tpPLC app from their website, so you can see the connection speed rate. (Mandatory, you need this. Works on Mac and WIN). d) Go to where you ^really^ need to have the ethernet connection at. Plug in. e) Now, go try the other device on the other side, at the other outlet (for me it was my router). The connection was < 30Mbps. Horrific when I am running a Gigabit network and Internet feed. Go to each outlet you can and keep plugging in until you get a strong connection.I finally found an outlet in the house that varies between 450Mbps to 575Mbps. You will not get a steady signal, as power lines are dirty with noise and it will vary along with network traffic. At this speed, it is amazing for me. Never drops out aka no signal. The only down side? The router was not in the room where I got the highest speed, so I had to lay a short Ethernet run between 2 room so I can hookup from the wall jack to the router. For me, better than running Ethernet to the garage. Also the only solution for me.Is it for you? If you have no patience or no patience & no technical skills, or no one to do it for you, probably not.
