Very useful tool for vehicles
I purchased one for a new vehicle. I liked it so much, I purchased another for a second vehicle. I carry a better flashlight in my truck, but this is handy to have for the seatbelt cutter and window breaker. I live near several lakes and rivers, so it is important to be able to get out of a vehicle if thereâs an accident that puts the vehicle in water. I like the magnetic base which will come in handy with one of my vehicles. The other is a Ford F150 – aluminum body – so it wonât attach to it.

Very useful tool
I bought this to put in my car in case of emergencies. It takes 2 AA batteries. The flasher/beacon is a very bright red. The flashlight beam is a bit weak, but will work in an emergency. I like the window hammer and seatbelt cutter the best – this is very important to have in your car especially if you have small children in 5pt harnesses. In case of fire or roll over or submersion in water, you could use this to free yourself and your children quickly.I may purchase a few more. They seem well manufactured. I ended up keeping this one in my purse and I want one for my car and my other vehicle.

Great product!
I saw this listed on woot for something ridiculously cheap and thought I’d give it a try. It turned out to be an awesome gadget for the car. My husband fell in love with it, so I bought him a different one I found, which did not measure up. I was so excited to find this one on Amazon and he was excited to get one of his own. :)The magnet it has is very strong and will stick securely to a vehicle and flash away in an emergency.

cheap…with poor quality
This product is very cheap material, way to light and I would very concerned how it would work in a real emergency situation. They should not sell this product. The moment I put the battery in, the cap were just kept turning do to a very low quality tread/material. I should kept my main rule #1: do not buy anything from China that your life could dependent on it…….

Emergency Car Tool
I bought this emergency car tool for my daughter, after having purchased one for myself earlier this year. While I am thankful that I’ve never had to use the item, I feel confident that in case of an emergency this tool would be very useful. One tool with red light/flashlight, seat belt/fabric cutter, glass breaker, and a heavy duty magnet which would allow you to place it on the car and your hands would be free to do other things, like changing a tire, while use of the flashlight would light up the area. I’m thinking of getting a couple more as Christmas gifts!

Research this type of product
I wish I had read the reviews. I almost always do! I would not want to depend on this to save my life or someone elses. I have not tried to break a window or cut a seat belt but right out of the package it feels like something off the dollar table, cheap plastic. New batteries and the neither light works. Right then I thought why take the chance on the important features of it.

I like the idea of this tool
I like the idea of this tool. I am disappointed the batteries have corroded within a few years and with virtually no use – but that might not be a defect of the product. Not sure I would buy again though.

great tool to have on hand
This is the third or fourth one we have purchased. Late the other evening we came upon a truck and trailer stranded on the road. The man had called for help, but he had no power and no lights. We were able to use the Travelon tool’e emergency flasher and magnet to attach to the trailer as a warning light for approaching cars.

This is my 2nd flashlight of this variety and I got them both on Amazon, I bought this one for my husband to have in his vehicle in case of an emergency. It is my belief that all first responders should have this on their tool belts.
