Speaker
I like how loud the speaker is like a car speaker and how it comes with caller ID. Automatically telling you if it’s a spam call.

a very robust phone with a huge battery and extremely loud speakers
This is the second rugged smartphone I ever use, and I found it very cost-effective though it could’ve packed more features. The Speakers of this Ulefone rugged smartphone are very extremely loud at 122dB, they’re probably the loudest smartphone speakers I have ever used, which is a huge advantage. To be clear though, I didn’t find the bass to be great on those speakers, but the sound is very loud overall.I didn’t like the big top and bottom chin on this device. The other rugged smartphone I have used had an eyedrop front-facing camera and a smaller bottom chin which made it look much more futuristic than this one from Ulefone while maintaining the ruggedness at roughly the same price point. I would say that the overall style and looks of this phone are not great even compared to other rugged phones.I like the back camera design and the speaker’s integration within it, and I also really like the location of the flashlight, and how bright and useful it is. This is definitely smart and practical. The camera quality is nice and the pictures are sharp enough at 16MP, an IR night vision feature would’ve been nice though, and I have seen rugged smartphones integrate this in their camera modules before at comparable price ranges. This phone takes up to 2 sim cards and a memory TF card as well and comes equipped with NFC. I really like the huge 9600mAh battery and I found it to easily last me 2 to 3 days on average use while hiking. The phone is powered with Android 12, which is a great plus for a phone in this price range.Overall, there’s good value in this phone even though it’s not the most feature-packed rugged smartphone in the market, in my opinion, it still makes a good, and practical rugged phone, especially for those with jobs in which they need to keep their phones especially protected, and for those who want a strong robust phone for hiking for example.

About what you can expect for the price.
Reason for purchase: I needed a phone that I could use to play music, take notes, and communicate with coworkers that wont break on the job. It gets the job done, but only just that. Previously had a Ulefone Armor 15 that worked wonders and I put it through hell more than once, so I thought this device would hold up well. The Pros~ It’s Big~ It’s Durable~ The Flashlight is an actual torch. The Cons~Comes with a lot of random Bloatware.~The battery drains a lot faster than it would leave you to believe.~ the “Octa core processor great for gaming” Is a joke. This thing can take 10 minutes to boot up, and anything beyond basic functionality is slow. Forget switching between apps.~Playback crashes constantly. Whether it’s Spotify, Youtube, Or Audible, expect to have to constantly unlock your device to hit Play again.~ Phone also randomly restarts itself, some days it gets by not doing it, and others its 3-5 times a day. For seemingly no reason. I pull out my phone to use it and it’s either shut itself off or restarted itself.

A solid rugged smartphone for the price.
All right today what I have for everyone is my full written review of the Ulefone Power Armor 16 Pro.Now what I’ve decided to do is break this review down into the positives and negatives of the smartphone. Then I’m going to give my overall final thoughts and make a recommendation. So without further ado I hope everyone finds this review helpful and let’s begin.Positives:The phone hasn’t overall rugged design with full waterproofing and military spec 810 g drop resistance. Meaning this phone can handle the roughest of abuse and still look and perform without problems. This phone has all the features that you would like to see in a modern smartphone even though you don’t. Featuring USB Type-C for fast charging supposedly. A 3.5 mm headphone jack. Meaning if you don’t like Bluetooth audio or you don’t have a car that supports Bluetooth audio you should be good to go. Then there’s the fact that it supports dual Sims or the ability to run on multiple carriers at one time or one SIM and one micro SD card meaning you can easily expand the storage so you never really run out of space. This phone features reliable and fast security measures like a physical fingerprint sensor built into the power button and face unlock which both work flawlessly and without issue. This phone features a big 5.93 in IPS LCD 720p plus display that is more than sharp enough to get the job done and more importantly more than bright enough and visible enough to work outdoors even in the brightest of daylight and function without issue. This phone has a big 9600 mAh battery built in easily getting phenomenal battery life in my testing getting 3 days with about 18 hours of SOT or screen on time with heavy usage. Or 5 days or about a standard business week with light to moderate usage and or about 8 hours of SOT or screen on time. Meaning that the battery life on this device is absolutely phenomenal so battery or charging anxiety is a thing of the past.By far my all-time favorite feature that this phone provides is the fact that it has a built-in 3 watt speaker that easily gets loud enough to fill even the largest of rooms but also manages to stay very crisp and clear with minimal distortion throughout regardless of whatever I was listening to. Whether it be music or binge-watching my favorite TV shows.Okay let’s wrap this up My last favorite feature of this device would have to be the price at which it’s available for $200 to offer to offer all these solid features at that price is phenomenal. All right I think that wraps up the positives Let’s move on and jump into the negative aspects of this device now Let’s go.Negatives:Let’s just jump right in by far the biggest negative of this device. Is the camera performance. Now it is capable of taking some really good photos and some decent video but you need a steady hand patience and good to really good lighting. Without all of these things the camera performance really suffers. By far that was the biggest disappointment of this device.Another negative of this device is the included bloatware which cannot be uninstalled disabled or hidden. Meaning that even if you’re not using the included applications you’ll always see them in your app draw taking up space on your device storage. I really would have liked to have seen the ability to at least disable if I can’t uninstall the pre-installed applications so that was a big negative there.Another major negative is the charge times although this device gets phenomenal battery life the flip side of that coin is the fact that this device takes an extremely long time to reach even a usable charge with a full charge taking anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. So that was also kind of disappointing and another big negative. But for the size of the battery I can almost let that one go.Now the last negative I would say I experienced would have to be the weight this device is extremely heavy granted you can contribute that to the overall rugged and beefy design which means it’s built like a tank, but it is really heavy and regardless of whatever I was doing with the device I always noticed the weight when I was using the cameras when I was binge watching my favorite TV shows when I was listening to music I always noticed the weight. Even for the still when the device was in my pocket I definitely could feel it when it was in the smartphone mount in my car I definitely can notice the weight although it can’t be helped with this type of rugged design is definitely another negative in my opinion.Okay I think that about wraps up the negatives and that brings a close to the positives and the negatives of this device. Now let’s get into the final part of this review.Final thoughts and overall recommendations-Now in my time with this device I would have to say overall it is a really solid device and it does offer a lot of features that did on occasion put a big smile on my face. Is it perfect No not by any means and it definitely has some shortcomings, but in my opinion can I recommend it? Well if you’re in the market for a device like this meaning you’re somebody that works construction or contracting work or you just have a very physical demanding job and a regular smartphone has definitely not been holding up to the task. Then yes I can definitely recommend you pick up this device even for the still if you’re just somebody that wants a big display and great battery life and you’re super clumsy like myself I’ve been known to drop devices on occasion regularly then this also might be a device that you may want to consider. Just keep in mind that there are some negatives to this device and as long as you can put up with the negatives that I mentioned and they’re not deal breakers for you then yes again I can recommend that you pick up this device. All right everybody that does it for this review again I hope everyone found it helpful. And I hope everyone is having a good day, evening, and or night depending on the time and your location when you’re reading this review.
