Super Useful Time Saver
I was sort of put off by the price, but this was soooo helpful in quickly and easily hanging a couple dozen large paintings in my home.

A product that does what it says it will do
A great little product that does exactly what it says it will do. I have hung quite a few pictures since getting this product and they have all been great. It makes the whole process near effortless, and in that respect the item achieves its aim.My only minor niggle about the item is if you were going to mount a picture close to the ceiling. The size of the product makes it impossible to get a picture mounted to close to the ceiling. But given the fact that the chances of wanting to mount a picture so high is small, I do not feel this detracts from the quality of the design or product itself.Overall a great hand product.

May be useful, but certainly not perfect
I had wanted this tool for years, and I finally got it for the last house move. Before that, I’ve always hung pictures by hand. While it was definitely helpful, it was not as perfect as I imagined it would be.The tool makes it so your arm has to go higher to hold the picture, which means that it’s way more effort. This also means that the person holding the picture is almost always standing right in front of it, and it makes it hard to see if you actually want the picture hung there. It also means that unless you’re really careful, you’re likely to bump the tool when you’re taking down the picture. I guess if you only have little 5×7 photographs, it’s fine. But we have really large pictures in even larger wood frames with glass in front, so the weight definitely adds up.My other complaints are minor. One is that of course the picture has to be a minimum distance from any obstacle above it. We had trouble hanger pictures very high up. The other is that it doesn’t work well with the picture hangers we have, which is a nail and a hook. It is only intended to be used with a nail. Now, for its intended purposes, it is a nice tool. It does help you figure out exactly where to put the nail, and the level that is included is a nice touch. The divit it creates to mark the spot to place the nail works well, and is subtle.

Wow, so much easier!
It’s always been a pain trying to hang a picture by yourself. This little gadget really takes the guesswork out of positioning the hooks exactly where you want them. No more hoping you have it in the right spot!It really is as simple as hanging your picture on the hook, position it where you want it, take the picture off, and press in the tab to mark where the nail should go. There’s a set of double hooks on the bottom if you are hanging a picture with a wire hanger. There’s even a level built into the plastic to ensure you have it perfect.Buy one for yourself and get a couple to give to friends when they move into a new place. Perfect house warming gift!

I really wanted to like this.
I really do. I want to love this item. But I can’t. It just hasn’t been useful for most of the frames I’ve tried. It doesn’t work with all frames, and won’t get close to the ceiling (I was doing a gallery style wall and needed the frames 3″ or so from the crown molding). I had a couple frames with double keyhole style hooks that were too small for this to fit into. I also think felt feet on the back would have been better than the silicone ones, to help it glide better when you have a frame hanging on it. It just stuck to my walls when I tried to move a frame for placement. It also limits you to using nails only to hang, it doesn’t really work with picture hooks. It really is an innovative design and did work well for a couple smaller frames though, so I’m holding on to it. So, it gets and A for effort and innovation but for my own uses it didn’t work out. It isn’t expensive, so it is worth the money and is well made. The levels are accurate and easy to read. Definitely one for the toolbox, but is not without its limitations.

Best thing since sliced bread
I bought this because we were moving to a new house and had a bunch of pictures to hang up. Plus, every time that I try to put up pictures, i end up with at least 3 holes in the wall from trying to get it in the right spot. This thing is freakin amazing! I just hung up 7 pictures with only one hole each and they look perfect.Three of the pictures were large and had two nail holes and i even managed to use it on them with the help of another level. 🙂

not useful
You can see opinions from other buyers, but I want to add one thing which makes me unhappy. The frames we bought from either Aaron brothers or Blicks are pre-drilled with holes and the sawtooth hangers on the frame. The tool is too small/narrow. The marks that the tool makes on the wall is not useful. $10 is overpriced for a piece of plastic, especially when you don’t find case that you can use it. I should have thought about it.

Never worry about hanging pictures again.
There have been many issues with hanging pictures in the past, but this thing makes it simple and easy!It has two levels on it to assist with a wide variety of sizes. It also has two hole punches to mark where you will be hanging from. The only this to be aware of is if you put pressure on the punches before youâre ready it will scratch your wall so just be careful.

I’ve been putting off installing my wall art as it’s so hard to get the hole in the right spot. This tool solves all that and is easy to use.
