Third one I have ordered.
I didn’t try it right away. When I did, after calibrating, and wiping it off, it will not pull paper through. I have to take the wand out of the dock and scan each page separately. I’m past my return date so I’m going to order a different brand.

only two issues
I bought this to replace, after 10 years, a VuPoint PDS-ST450. Except for the more stylish wand and that it will take a 32GB sim card (not included) I have not found any differences from the older model. They both fit the same docking station. Like the other, it is very simple to use and very convenient. The same cable from the docking station to the computer will power it and upload scans. It does come with a wall plug AC adapter for chargingI have only two issues to take with it: 1) The rollers will sometimes not grip glossy paper, so it will not feed 2) It is difficult to get a straight feed with the docking station, as the rollers do not always get even traction when the paper is inserted. The biggest plus is its size and convenience.

Great little scanner. The freedom from the computer and the simplicity make it so.
I just ordered another one of these; my first was in 2015 and is still going strong. The second is to have one handy at another location. I use it primarily with the sheet feeder to scan notes for archive. And it is a bit unique for these types of scanners. If you leave the dock connected to the computer, you click one button to put it in scan mode. You then feed single sheets, each saved to the mSD card as a PDF (or jpg). Then, press a button; your computer will recognize the mSD card and you have access to the files. Nothing fancy here; but quite independent of any computer side software that … in my experience, usually disappoints. Now, multiple page documents? I simple use Tracker Softwares PDF exchange, which adds an option to file explorer . Select all files, right click, and select combine. Review the order of the files, one click, you have a multi-page PDF. I have owned several small scanners; but this unit has been the most trouble fee, and most useful.

Wrong color selection
I ordere this scanner in purple to go with the design of my office. This does not look like purple. Be cautious when ordering this. Other wise came in good condition.

Good product for value.
This product is great and easy to use. Customer service from VuPoint was great too. I initially had difficulty getting the scanner to turn on and I emailed them. A representative responded promptly. Turned out that I needed a different microSD card. You have to use a SDHC card and it needs to be at least 32GB. As soon as I changed cards, it worked great.

Use it almost every week to scan my work receipts with the feeder. Sometimes it freezes because it cant pickup paper end, but simply press the reset pin and is good again.
