Wyze Mesh Router brings you fast, whole-home Wi-Fi for a fraction of the cost. Experience the blazing fast gigabit speeds of Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6. Mesh Technology allows your network to expand seamlessly, without the need for 3rd party extenders or boosters. As you move throughout your home, the Wyze Mesh Router network seamlessly connects you to the nearest router to your device, never dropping a FaceTime call or pausing a video. Unlike older systems that use just one router to stretch coverage to your whole home, Wyze Mesh Routers use mesh technology, so you can expand your coverage with up to 10 routers to cover over 15,000 sq. ft. Each Wyze Mesh Router supports up to 50+ devices, so the more routers you add, the more devices your network can handle. The highly-rated Wyze app is the command center for your home network and smart home. Set up parental controls, prioritize devices, run a speed test, and even group devices by rooms and floors to turn them off at certain times of day. Setup has also never been easier. The Wyze app walks you through it, step by step, even guiding you through the placement of each router so you know you’re getting the best possible home coverage.
Industry-Leading Wi-Fi 6: Covers up to 1500 sq. ft. with 1Gbps internet speeds. Easily stream 4K video, video conferences, and gaming at the same time, all while running dozens of smart devices, too.
Eliminates Dead Spots and Buffering: Each router intelligently adapts to its place in your home and connects with other Wyze Mesh Routers to create a blanket of Wi-Fi coverage, eliminating dead spots.
More Devices Than Ever: Connect 50+ devices per router, and expand your coverage and number of devices at any time by adding more Wyze Mesh Routers to your network.
Wyze App Control Center: Control your network settings from anywhere with the Wyze app. Set parental controls, prioritize important devices, check the status of all your routers, and more from a single app.
Security by Firedome: Wyze Mesh Router is equipped with Firedome, an advanced security software that protects every device connected to the router from the world’s most advanced security threats.
Customers say
Customers like the coverage of the router. They say it provides wide coverage for more devices and covers the whole house. However, some customers report that the router runs really hot. Customers also dislike the ip address. Opinions are mixed on performance, connectivity, speed, value, and ease of installation.

Outstanding Performance & Affordability
I gave a long winded detailed review below, but for those that just want it short & simple: Wyze Mesh Pro 6E (2 pack) exceeded every expectation I had, was extremely easy to setup, it works very well & I am beyond happy! As a former Network Engineer I’ve been through countless numbers of Router models & manufacturers. I already had a Wi-Fi 6E router, the problem I had was the amount of devices being used, which was causing random slowdowns and/or buffering, minor issues with channel crosstalk from neighbors Wi-Fi & very minor signal strength issues in one area of the house. The Wi-Fi 6E router I already had, did support Mesh Networking, but to add another unit was near $250-300.00USD! I happened upon this Wyze Mesh Pro Wi-Fi 6E (2) Pack on sale for Cyber Monday. The price was very reasonable & it had very good ratings. The package arrived yesterday & within less than 20 minutes if that, the old router was removed, the Wyze Mesh Pro #1 & #2 were both installed & working great! Now 20 mins might sound like a long time, so allow me to layout the setup process. Unboxed, unplugged & removed old router, rebooted modem, connected Wyze Mesh Pro #1 & using the Wyze smartphone app I simply followed the prompts & answered the questions (the questions are not overly technical or confusing at all), when I got to the final step I had 2 options 1) Add Another Mesh? or 2) Finished. I still had Wyze Mesh Pro #2 to setup, so I chose “Add Another Mesh?”. The app prompted me to take the next box to the area it was to be placed & plug it into power. After it booted up the app again asked the same questions as before & then I ended up on the same last screen & I chose “Finished”. The app then synced the mesh network, rebooted itself, asked if I wanted to get the latest firmware & I chose “yes” so it downloaded the new firmware, then updated Wyze Mesh Pro #1, then Wyze Mesh Pro #2 & rebooted itself again. After that everything worked like it always had, only considerably better! Now there are no slowdowns and/or buffering anywhere, the mesh network automatically distributes the device load based on distance to the nearest box & the amount of devices already in use on that box. There are absolutely zero signal issues of any kind! It will automatically adjust the 3 channels to the most optimal channels available to avoid interference etc. Lastly, I have 1GB (1,000Mbps) Internet, with the old router I usually got around 800-850Mbps & that would drop the farther away from the router you went, but I could get 980Mbps standing next to the router. With the new Wyze Mesh Pro I’m getting 1,150-1,275Mbps regardless of where I am in the house! That’s with just (2) of the Mesh Pro boxes, the system supports up to (10).

No improved speed and poor coverage
Certified MCSE, CCNP & Network+ professional here. I only have two WIFI 6 devices and unfortunately there was no speed improvement at all. My Orbi Pro Tri-band AC3000 WIFI 5 units are faster even with WIFI 6 devices, and at greater distances. WIFI 6 is backwardly compatible unlike 6E. I thought I might be able to have a stronger signal with the Wyze AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Router System, but they have more trouble penetrating sheetrock walls. In a 2100 square foot house I’d need 4 Wyze AX3000 units to match 2 Orbi Pro’s. I can also confirm the units get very warm. Set-up is just so, so. Non-technical people might have some difficulty. The software features in the app are rudimentary. The feature won’t satisfy a techie by any means, are lack luster. I suppose Wyze will make upgrades over time.

Works well, but setup can be a little tricky
I used three of these to replace an older âhome brewâ multi-router system with three different WiFi access points connected via Ethernet and set to different channels. The Wyze routers work well and are definitely faster than my older AC1200 & N600 routers, although the coverage distance is the same or perhaps maybe even slightly less than my older system with external antennas. I suspect these routers would also perform better with external vertical antennas, but unfortunately that is not an option for most mesh systems. And these are only designed to lie flat on a surface, so you canât orient them vertically. The initial setup can only be performed through the app, and it is not very helpful if something goes wrong. For example, I had gotten a new Internet modem from Spectrum / Time Warner since I no longer needed their WiFi router modem combination. They neglected to tell me this needed to be activated, even when I went online and checked the modem status. Because of this the first Wyze router I tried to setup could not connect to the Internet. Unfortunately, this caused the setup to fail every time without any very helpful error message. Of course the modem not being activated was not a Wyze problem, but the setup should have made it more clear what the problem was. Also, the initial setup takes several minutes each time before it got to the point of failure , so I wasted a lot of time trying different things such as different cables and all three of the modems I had purchased. I finally connected a desktop computer using a wired connection directly to the modem and saw it was displaying a message that it needed to be activated. Once I activated the modem, I was finally able to setup the first Wyze router. After that, I was able to setup the other ones fairly easily, although you have to make sure they are close enough together to make a good solid connection. I might even recommend setting them up close together and then moving them to the final location. Although of course they still have to be able to connect to each other wirelessly unless you are using a wired connection between them. The rest of the setup through the app is fairly straightforward, although I had to do Google searches to find out how to set certain things. Once the initial setup is complete you can also setup some things through a web interface, but the app is used for most settings. I do like that they can use the 6GHz band for the backhaul wireless connection, leaving the 2.4GHz and 5Ghz bands for device connections. My biggest issue is that my previous system transmitted through a room, out a window, and out to my back yard where I have various devices such as a Firestick for streaming movies and an Echo dot for playing music. The wireless signal to the back yard is not quite as strong as with my previous system, probably due to the antenna problem mentioned above. Because of this the streaming to the back yard drops out more frequently than previously. Iâll probably have to purchase a fourth router to place even more directly in the line-of-sight to the back yard and right by a window. A couple of other minor downsides are they get fairly hot in the bottom as others have said, and the LED on the bottom is very bright. However, they do provide a setting to turn off the bottom LED. Overall these are good fast routers at a reasonable price, but with perhaps a little bit quirky setup. If they had just slightly better range Iâd easily give them 5 stars.

Help with WiFi!
We have 3 of these now. I donât know how it does it, but you plug one into the router and the others in between and they help direct traffic. My cameras and sons gaming used to crash the network. Now with just adding 3 of these all the cameras work as well as his gaming. Good product especially if you have Wyze cameras
