World’s Longest Wireless Range: Powered by LoRa technology, the long-range yet low-power system offers the industry’s longest receiving range in the market (1/4 mile). Our long-range coverage enables its use in areas challenging for most residential Wi-Fi systems, such as basements, outdoor porch/patio areas, sheds, free-standing garages, even remote outbuildings on your property.
Works With Alexa & Google Voice Assistants: Supercharge your YoLink system by adding the YoLink skill to Alexa or Google Assistant. Control your YoLink devices by voice command (“Alexa, turn off the fan” – “OK!”) and control your YoLink devices as part of routines/automations that may include other, third-party, smart devices integrated with Alexa/Google.
Energy Monitoring: you can track energy consumption and real-time power of attached devices by daily/weekly/monthly within YoLink app; Durable Design & Fire Resistant, ETL Listed & FCC Compliant; Loads up to 12.5A, can be used to control most of the electrical appliances or can be added to a group of devices for advanced scene control
From Simple to Super-Smart: After setting up your notification preferences, keep it simple and let the YoLink system do the rest and monitor your home and property for you. Or, utilize available advanced automation features, including 3rd-party integration with Alexa and IFTTT, to interact with other YoLink and 3rd-party smart devices. Limited only by your imagination!
No Tricky Wi-Fi Requirements: While many smart devices use and depend on your Wi-Fi network, YoLink devices utilize a proprietary radio frequency spread spectrum technology known as LoRa (Long-Range). With YoLink, you no longer have to worry about your devices consuming your Wi-Fi bandwidth. (YoLink Hub requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection or a wired connection to your network equipment (patch cord included).

Wow! These Perform Fantastic! Better Connectivity so far Than SmartThings
I was looking for something to monitor the temps of the refrigerator and freezers following a 12 hour power outage. Obviously I needed something which didn’t require opening the fridge door. (My modem and router are on UPS’s.) Also, another friend was gone for 4 days and his main refrigerator stopped working. The ice melted, the freezer contents melted and he had to move out of his house for the repairs.I found these YoLink products and thought I’d give them a try because their claim is a longer range (even through things like metal refers and freezers), WAY more range than typical devices, and minimal battery usage. They’re are RIGHT! These things work through my metal refrigerators and through the metal on the chest freezer. I now have accurate reporting AND the ability to set parameters for alerts. In digging more into YoLink, I found they are a US based company. They also have home automation devices that also share long range connections.I have many home automation devices on my SmartThings hub (Zigbee and Z Wave). I bought a few YoLink outlets to see how they performed.I had connectivity to the YoLink outlets over 800′ away in our barn!! They didn’t quite reach the street 1400′ away though. I’d love to have full automation all the way to the street for holiday decorations and more. I found YoLink can have more than one hub on the same network so I bought a hub for my barn. Bam! Works!! (The barn has a long range WiFi antenna which picks up the house’s WiFi.)This is a brief recap. Hope it helps. Their devices are less expensive versus Zigbee or Z Wave devices. Although I have not dug into elaborate programming yet (like doing things when you arrive home or leave or temp/weather related automations), it appears this cold be a viable, better and cheaper replacement for ZigBee and Z Wave automation devices.Hope this helps everyone!

Logs wh data and easy to program with other yolink devices
I’m using this along with a temperature sensor to control a heater more finely tuned to where the temperature sensor is located for one heater. For a second area, I use a low temperature alarm to turn on a duct fan as an emergency heat source in another area in the event the primary heat source fails such as a loss of power event. What is key in that scenario is the duct fan is backed by a UPS or an inverter off a solar array. What I would change is to add a low warning and high warning as you can only control off the low or high alarm. I’d like to control devices off a warning setpoint but only get an actual alarm on a true alarm value. Example, have the fan come on at 38F but don’t send me an alarm unless we reach 35F.

A Great Product from a Great Company
Constantly exceeding my expectations. I own a lot of Yolink hardware and am deep into Home Automation with Home Assistant. All work seamlessly. After using a lot of the devices for a long time, I had one failure. The App on my phone let me know there was an issue. Therefore, the system (includes all of the components) are monitored for health. A rare and complete level of Systems Engineering. On the one failure, I emailed Yolink with the results of the very simple and straight forward troubleshooting. Boom. They were sending me a replacement in minutes. Absolutely outstanding. I have not seen a company at this level in a while. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to find a company like this one. I can only hope that other companies take notes and follow this outstanding example.

Sorry for The inconvenience….
I’m running a kennel that has +25 animals. I use heat lamps To keep them warm at night, When it gets too cold, or fans when it gets too hot During the day. I love the fact the Temperature sensors can automatically control The fans I have. I love the fact that I can be at the doctor’s office or At the store and check on the Energy usage Of each of each light Which lets me know if the light bulb is burned out or not. In other words I don’t have to be in the stall To See if the light is on or not. It also allows me to control all the outdoor lighting Which is great And have it automatically turn on and off. The problem I ran into with these models and all these devices is the APP Does not work with androidandroid 12 OS. One of my animals destroyed My phone and I had to upgrade to a android 12 OS phone. I called YoLink and told them what was wrong. They say sorry for the inconvenience. And after many more phone calls found out that there’s a new app coming out In the 3rd quarter Of this year. The issue is I may not be able to get that app Before our wonderful heat Starts cooking us. And right now I have no way of controlling anything Or setting up or changing temperatures or time For anything. And they are no longer making their little five device remotes, which is another issue. They now only have the 2 Control Device. I don’t know about you But I can’t have 35 little remotes in my pocket to control everything. And Yolink is mum about what they are doing to fix things. Sorry more then just Inconvenient. This isn’t just a living room right We’re talking about.

a pretty big deal
This has been a great help, giving me a constant read-out of how much electricity I’m using. It’s in my greenhouse, helping me decide whether it would be feasible to go to solar panels.

Great Products – Hit all my check marks for making the leap into home automation
I have been holding off on a home automation solution because I couldn’t find a brand that had all the functionality I was looking for along with ease of setup and affordability. I stumbled across yolink and cautiously gave them a chance since I never heard of them before. I’m glad I did and have since recommended them to a number of my friends. Everything works as should and I love the smart IFTTT integrations. The possibility’s are endless. I’ve since setup water detectors, motion detectors (Mailbox w/alexa integration), garage doors controllers and 12 wifi light switches so I can easily control all of my outdoor lights. All works great. The wireless range on these devices is amazing too. I was hesitant because I didn’t want to add a hub but after learning more about LoRa and the range it broadcasts I’m glad I did.
