Cable has worked flawlessly for 3 years. Note: You must bond the shielding to ground
Have had this cable for 3 years with no issues. Since this is an armored cable, you must bond the metal armor to your single point earth ground where it enters your home. Otherwise it will pick up transients along the line, carry them into your home, and surge your equipment.

Great quality at a good price point
I’ve used 6 of these so far and they work great. They’re thin enough to pull just about anywhere but durable enough to stay intact. These are now my go-to long premade patch cables.

Perfect fit and finish, works great at 1 Gbps (tested). Good value for the money.
Purchased this for a network connection between our house and pole barn, approximately 75 feet away. Tested the fiber with between two switches using HP X120 LC/LX 1310nm SFP modules and experienced no errors. Buried the cable in 3/4″ Schedule 40 PVC, and has been running without error for a month now.The cable says “direct burial” in the description, but the jacket on the cable is very thin. I would ensure that the fiber has a smooth sand base and backfill around it if burying directly – I felt better using PVC conduit to ensure physical protection from crushing damage.Nicely terminated ends, polish looked good under 10x magnification, and connectors hold securely. Good value for the money.

Works, a little thinner than expected.
Worked well albeit a little thinner than I would have imagined for an armored cable. I would not recommend placing this in a high traffic area just because it looks like it might not survive an 18 wheeler running over it – something I have come to expect from armored cable. Also, spend $10 and get a reel for it, just something that will spool it properly. That will save you a ton of time.

Good Cable
I purchased the 100M LC-LC single mode patch cable to run between the house and the barn. This is rated “outdoor” but direct bury is not recommended so a of run 3/4″ conduit 240′ underground is was needed- a pain but now done.I thought I used enough “snot” in the pipe as I was making the joints and the fact it was a straight run with no elbows lead me to believe I could pull the full 240′ at once. This was not to be as after about 100′ it became hard to pull. I would guess it was in the 20 lb range. Not knowing how tough the thin cable was I stopped. Fortunately I had put pull boxes at 80′ spacing so I was able to pull in 80′ sections which was tedious but easier. The outer sheath of this cable is a rubber like material which apparently has pretty high friction against he pipe. So a word to the wise: Over use the pipe lubricant and leave access points.Another step that we took was to uncoil the fiber and rewind it on a spool so as to prevent it from getting tangled while pulling. The spool was free wheeling so that did not contribute to the difficulty pulling. For a pulling eye, we used this from Amazon: FiberCablesDirect – SimpleGrip Fiber Pulling Eye Hook, about $12.00 which worked really well.Advise that you keep the little plastic caps for the fiber ends in case you need to secure the end for relocation or other reasons.Bottom line: When I was all done it linked.

Pulled 300 Feet through Warehouse to Offices
We had the luxury of laying out the 300 feet in an empty warehouse. Pulled nicely around the Warehouse and through the ceiling grid of the office area to the server room. We have used Jeirdus Pre-terminated Fiber before and it always test good. (YES we test before we pull the fiber). Only wish it came on a SPOOL.

A note to the novices like me
I bought 40m length of this to run from my home to an outbuilding. I paired it with these converters from 10Gtek https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BYN83SL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 and all is working well. This is my first experience with fiber optics and my first lesson learned was that you need to reverse the A&B lines on one end to make this work. The lines will snap out of the dual connector clip and can be snapped in in reverse. Essentially you need a crossover cable for this converter.I buried this stuff in a shallow grave for about 50 feet across my back yard. Some Q&A I read on here says direct burial is not recommended. It is also ran it for about 25 feet under my deck and 25 feet under the outbuilding. We shall see how long it lasts! The cable is very small, maybe 3/16th of an inch in diameter and for what it is worth can be run (including the “Y” and ends) through a 1/2 inch PVC pipe which I used for a riser on each end.

The product arrived in a Solid cardboard box and was protected It came in a bag with the Testing information on it.Important to note is That this cable is a Single Mode fibre, which is where I made a mistake. The product works fine and is really high quality, but you have to get LR trancivers for single mode fibre.I returned the product as i needed a multi mode fibre for the run I wanted to do. The return was very easy and the email correspondence was kind and wrote in clear English.Another thing to take note of is the Plastic Y junction which also would not fit through my holes as its slightly wider that the LC connector itself about a mm or 2.But besides that The cable looks good as its black and feels rugged for a fibre cable compared to OM or OS fibres. Would buybit again if i have a usecase and would recommend it to other who need a long fibre run.
