Holy Cats. This Thing Is The Real Deal
I am super impressed with this little compound bow. It’s the real deal, just in miniature! The metal tips for the arrows are nothing to muck about with, and you should treat this exactly as you would any real bow.Has a nice pull. Came with extra bowstrings and good directions. Also has suction cups for the ends of the arrows which might be a much safer way of playing with this thing.I am really impressed with the quality and the weight of this. Even the little laser site is pretty awesome. This is a great set, just be careful with it. Glad I got it!

Utter junk – two out of two instances came defective
The first bow wasn’t strung correctly at all, which I eventually rectified by poring over the pictures to figure out how to route the bowstring. But the first draw popped the string off the pulleys, so I got a replacement from Amazon. That one came strung correctly but again the first draw resulted in the string coming off again. The two side arms on both upper and lower pulley won’t stay parallel so any force drawing the bow results in twisting the pulleys out of the plane of the draw and ensures the bowstring will come off no later than the release.Neat idea, terrible execution, save your money!

Inaccurate bow
The laser scope is the coolest part of this 8.8″/9.8″ Compound Bow and Arrow Set. However, the arrows don’t shoot at the same level as the laser scope so it is ineffective. The main deficiency of this set are the hollow plastic arrows, which feel like plastic straws. It also has no holder for the back of the arrow to attach to the string, so is very inaccurate. I did give this to my son to teach him hunting safety, but he was disappointed with the accuracy of this.

My Inner Childâs Dream Toy!
I must say – this little compound bow is not to be underestimated. Yes, itâs obviously just a toy. But you should definitely make sure your kid is old enough to understand that it is still a weapon and someone can get hurt. My personal opinion, I think you should at least be almost a teen. (Unless your kid is already used to handling weapons of some sort. Iâm not asking questions. haha) Youâll see from the picture⦠it can shoot pretty hard. That arrow traveled fast enough that the arrow head basically embedded its entire self into the cardboard box. That could have been an eye. So yeah, caution. That said, this bow is super awesome! Itâs so cool looking and is a legit compound bow. Craftmanship and bow material is high quality. This isnât going to break on you. Comes with extra bow string, a couple targets, and 10 arrows. Oh, and a red dot. I mean, come on. Whatâs a compound bow without a red dot?I feel like Bo or Luke Duke with this in my hand. Ok, maybe a giant version of the Hazard Boys⦠but Iâm loving it.Thereâs only one negative. I noticed that the laser doesnât point anywhere near where the arrow actually hits out of the boxânot even in the same neighborhood. Youâll need to re-align it, which should be expected with these devices. I just wanted to let you know so you can do this before giving it to your kid, to ensure accurate aiming and avoid any potential mishaps. This toy is my inner childâs dream toy. 🙂 Get it!

Such a cool toy
I got this for my son for his birthday and he loved it. It’s pretty well made and feels very sturdy. I will say it’s not super accurate and the laser is mainly for looks/fun. It does have some power behind it so I would definitely use caution if you’re going to use the metal tips. But it’s safe enough for inside use if you use the suction cup tips that come with it.

Fun toy
This mini bow is super cool. Itâs so realistic and looks just like a full size bow and arrow! I was surprised with how well it shoots and how far the arrows go! I like how they included 2 target to practice shooting. Also, it comes with suction tips to use on the arrows if you prefer to not use the little blades. I would advise using them too if young children is playing with it! Overall, this is a unique and fun little gadget and older children would love it!

It is a fun little toy
Do not think you will use this and hit anything directly on. There is no way to hold the arrow still. It doesn’t sit on the cable at all. You have to hold it there. There is no rest for the arrow, the area for it is not great. It has suction cups, but the force is too strong and it just bounces off things. The little arrow heads pop out sometimes if it hits too hard. But it is a fun little thing to play with and try to hit things. I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I knew the flaws. It just looked fun.
