A great start to upgrading to 2.5G
I’m in the process of upgrading important systems to 2.5G and this switch is a great help in this process. Since it still works with slower speeds, it gives me a way to upgrade my hardware a little at a time, while being able to appreciate faster transfer speeds of things that have been upgraded so far. It has two LEDs per port, yellow indicating 1G or lower and green for 2.5G. So far, I have it only hooked up between my NAS and my main big computer, and it’s made a significant difference in transfer speeds. I plan to add some of my other main computers in my workshop to it as well, but I need to upgrade the network cards first. It’s nice I can do things a little at a time.

Good, compact 2.5gig switch
This switch works as expected.* Compact size* Doesnt get hot* Works out of the box* Metal casing makes it feel well made.* Testing indicates it is able to hit the advertised speeds.* VERY good value for the price vs peers in the market.

ULANSeN 5-Port Unmanaged 2.5G Switch: Efficient but Awkward Design
The Ulansen 5-Port Unmanaged 2.5G Switch works as expected, providing 2.5G connections (indicated by a green LED) as well as slower 100/1000 connections (indicated by an amber LED). Performance-wise, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, allowing for smooth, high-speed networking. However, there’s one odd design choice that’s worth mentioning. The power connector and all the indicators are on the same side as the ports. This means you have to deal with all the cords coming out of one side, which can create a bit of a mess on your desk if you want to see the link states. It would be more convenient if the activity and power indicators were on the opposite side.Despite this design flaw, the switch functions well and meets the needs for higher-speed connections. If you don’t mind the slightly cluttered setup, it’s a fine choice for an unmanaged switch.

It works
After using this for a few weeks, I can say it works at the advertised speed. Network connections of the attached PCs show 2.5Gbps and the data transfer rates across the network are appropriate for that connection speed. With more PCs coming with 2.5Gbps ethernet, this is a good upgrade if your computers support it.

Works as described
Nice compact 5 port 2.5G ethernet switch. I have several Eero Pro 6E devices in my home, and they all have 1 2.5G port and 1 1gig port. This allows me to work them into the network at the 2.5G speed and also attach my NAS and PC (which have 2.5G connections). The speed is as advertised for these devices (but also works well with gigabit). The LEDs indicate the negotiated speed connection. Green indicates 2.5G, Amber 1 gig or less. Unfortunately, it won’t differentiate 10/100/1000 vs just 10/100.This switch is unmanaged, so it is plug-n-play and works out of the box with no configuration necessary.

Seamlessly works in the background
This was pretty much plug and play with amber lights signaling 1G connection and green signaling 2.5G connection. From my NAS to desktop the speeds are as advertised.Overall great product.

It works
The router works as expected. Cannot test speed component other than just confirming connection led color as currently I have only 2.5G device….
