Amazon Customer –
Has worked perfectly for my needs.
I put 2 SFP+ 10G ethernet modules in this thing. Has worked perfectly. I did do the research BEFORE buying the SFP+ modules, rumor has it some aren’t compatible. but no idea if that’s true as I bought 2 different SFP+ module brands and both have worked perfectly. The advantage of this one is that you can have upto 2 10G connections on it with 2.5G for the rest of the ports. 99.99999999% of people don’t need this type of equipment. But if you have fiber. and lets say a 10GB connection as I do*no, not a 5GB*, you’ll be able to take advantage of the 10GB while keeping the rest of the network pretty high speed. unless you’re doing ACTUAL video editing and uploading massive files, the only other purpose of this switch is for bragging purposes. Very cheap cost for a home environment. For those buying these types of products. understand the difference between SFP, SFP+, and so on. If you don’t know what that means… you likely shouldn’t be buying these types of products. I believe it’s very possible a few of the bad reviews might have been do to not understanding the specs or how to use this tech properly.I have 2 of them in total.

Ordered 2 units, one defective.
I ordered 2 of these switches to use as a 10gb backhaul on my network between two buildings. Upon installing, one of the units worked great. The other unit did not power on at all. Tried other power supplies, with no luck. Unit totally dead. Called Amazon, asked them to replace the defective item, said they could not replace it, had to refund which would take 30 days. I don’t have 30 days to wait for another unit that may or may not work. I have ordered the replacement unit somewhere else for delivery tomorrow. I won’t be buying from Amazon again. Cancelling Prime membership today as well. Crappy customer service!!!!!UPDATE: I am changing my review because the company that manufactures this device reached out to me and offered to step up and provide the customer support that AMAZON should have but did not. Elsa from Vimin reached out and I received a refund this morning for the one defective unit. I will absolutely give Vimin products another chance, because I appreciate them stepping up and doing the job that AMAZON should have done but did not. Thank you, Elsa I appreciate your effort.

A simple, silent switch
Outgrew my netgear 5 port pretty quickly and replaced it with this. For some odd reason some lights blink green inside with nothing but power plugged in and it shipped without feet. Nitpicking aside it gets the job done at the right price, and does it without breaking a sweat. Runs cool and quiet.

VLAN works with isolation mode
I have this connected to my router via 10Gb SFP+ and to an AP on one of the 2.5Gb ports. Both have multiple VLANs and are working. At the same time, I have a computer connected that, of course, does not add a VLAN tag.I haven’t yet verified that isolation mode is truly isolated. I would expect that it is only isolated in one direction with packets from the 2.5Gb ports broadcasting on both 10Gb ports but packets from the 10Gb ports broadcasting on ALL other ports. After all, this is an unmanaged switch so there is no place to tell it which ports are allowed to receive which packets.

Cheap and cheerful with a convenient spec.
I got this device because I’ve upgraded my desktop computer and it came with a 2.5Gb network, I used to run an SFP+ card in my old desktop so I could communicate with my Plex server (which had an SFP+ connection built-in), it might not seem important but if you need to move multiple GBs of data you notice the benefit over a standard network. I didn’t want to get an SFP+ card for the new computer, they get quite hot and consume a fair amount of power and I knew 2.5Gbs would be more than enough. With this switch, I upgraded my whole network to 2.5Gbs, it’s just as fast transferring files to my server as the old SFP+ connection, but I can now plug in my laptop and get faster networking. Buying this was a no brainer, given the cost and SFP+ port, I’ve been running it for many months now, without a single issue, definitely as fast as my old TP-Link switch, doesn’t get hot even with 9 devices plugged in, all in all a solid performer.

Really nice little unmanaged switch
I have a pfsense box with two 2.5G NICs and needed a few more for some downstream Unifi switches. Didn’t need VLAN management, just a switch that wouldn’t drop the VLAN tags on the floor. This little switch has fit the bill nicely. VLAN tags are passed to/from pfSense, and everything 2.5G or above that’s downstream is showing a 2.5G connection to pfSense over iperf. The documentation could be better, but for a plug and play unmanaged switch I can’t complain too much – but it doesn’t really say what that VLAN switch is for so I’m not sure what it does (I think it isolates the 2.5G ports from the 10G SFP+ ports but I don’t know for sure). In general, happy with this purchase and does what it says it does.

Defective
UPDATE:I had to remove this switch from the network because my server was randomly disconnecting from the network. This was happening on any 2.5G port I used. The 10G ports seemed to work fine.ORIGNAL:I was certain this switch would not work as advertised. However, both 10G ports are working at near 10G speed and the 2.5G ports seem to be working as expected as well. This is almost exactly the same as the QNAP QSW-2104-2S-US but half the price and even a little more compact. I used a Ubiquiti 10G Fiber SFP+ module and a cheap 10G DAC cable. Hopefully the switch holds up over time, but it seems very well built, decent venting and metal housing.

Great price and works well. Not much more to say about it

Before I purchased this switch, I was having nothing but problems with TELUS fiber disconnecting everyday. Telus comes with an ONT. I ordered several switches in the past and non were the SFP version only SFP+. Which when fiber is connected to a switch using SFP to SFP+ it negotiates down to 1gig. So I finally found a switch that was SFP, that is the true advantage because TELUS uses SFP. I use this switch to completely remove all TELUS equipment. Their ONT we replaced 3 times and still internet cutting out everyday for hours and even days on end no internet. Until I discovered this switch could replace the ONT and give steady perfect internet for my network. I never and its been 2 weeks evaluation have lost internet since I installed the fiber directly into this switch. I use it on isolation mode because I have several pfsense routers with the same IP on the network and each one is connected to a switch so they don’t get interference with each other. I use the switch to separate my 3 different static IP that I have coming in each static IP goes to a different server I have 3 servers which all require their own IP address. SO I will recommend this switch to those having trouble with TELUS ONT they can remove the ONT and not worry about internet cutting out anymore. It just works! Plug and play no special configuration, I just unplugged the TELUS box and plugged directly into this wonderful switch and I am getting full speed out of my internet 1.5gig connection. I just hope the switch lasts a long time, I paid around 130 for it which I think is fair price and the temps on the switch are cool to the touch even during all benchmark testing this switch stays cool to the touch. That tells me its made well. I hope it lasts. I got lucky when I ordered this one. Everything I needed out of it it does.
