good short
A good short. Because of how short itâs in details but gets the general idea across and established a posible world to explore.

A good short read.
A nice twist at the end. To some viewers the ending is a quick compromise. But I like it. For a short like this the author couldnât afford a gripping dilemma.

Excellent story!
Wonderful short story. You don’t want i.t to end. Maybe we can get a spin off about the characters stories.

A Nice Quick Read
As earth collapses in an environmental catastrophe, the last hope of humanity is a small fleet of colonizer ships which are dropping off groups of humans to start again on new planets. This is the story of what happens when the planet humans are hoping to colonize has suffered a climate-changing catastrophe and is no longer habitable. Itâs a tight little story which fans of Taylor should enjoy.

Unlikely scenario
In a real world scenario, the captain would have just killed all the colonists and then returned to Earth for the next shipment, or the colonists would have just killed all the crew and then taken the ship.

Excellent Novella
A very short, compact story. I liked the construction of the story, the main character and the overall plot. A colony ship arrives at it planetary destination but things are not okay. Taylor has written a great story.

Unexpected and enjoyable ending.
I’m already a fan of the Bobiverse, so I have a bent perspective. This was an enjoyable fast read with a satisfying ending. Worth a buck.

Bit Anticlimactic, But Good
Good concept. Enjoyable execution. I suppose the short story format is quite limiting for something like this. Might have been better suited as a novel.

This brilliant short story by one of my favourite authors is a tale of no good choices.Sol is dying, in a scramble to save the human race colony ships are being sent out. One ship reaches a world that isn’t what was hoped for, the crew and colonists need to make hard choices to survive.

And with a surprising ending to boot. The morals expressed in Mr. Taylor’s stories are simple but straight forward. And his plots contain enough twists and turns to keep the reader turning the pages. I’m looking forward to more from Dennis, short story and/or Bobiverse 🙂
