Mr. Tough Customerson –
These worked out great for my arcade project they are exactly what you’d expect for the price. 5/5
Only gripe at all would be tactile feedback. I wish there was just a tad (and I do mean just a little) more tactile feedback in the buttons. Other than that they are great. These aren’t dimpled buttons keep in mind so if that was the feel you were going for look elsewhere. They feel good to me though for the most part. The colors are on point. The setup was super easy (couldn’t get any easier). The joystick is great with the right amount of resistance and click. The 8 axis feels awesome esp. if your replacing a 4 axis the difference is super noticeable. 5/5 imo I got exactly what I expected for the price.

Best Value for Newbs
This kit is just right to get anyone with two or more brain cells going. The diagram on the product page is accurate. The only down side is the buttons not the joy stick feel cheap but are incredibly effective and no delay. The buttons are meant to snap onto a thin surface plate but wedge themselves just fine into any thicker material.

great value
if you’ve seen reports of the buttons not working, it’s usually because the connector on the back was not tight enough. most of them aren’t tight enough, but a quick light squeeze with some pliers will get you set. you can also use these in thick (american) control panels because the tabs on the side will compression fit the button. However, they can be pried up, so don’t use these in a commercial setting if you do that.

Almost perfect
I don’t know if it’s me or them but my joystick didn’t work. I plugged it in and nothing. PC and PS4 neither worked

Best upgrade kits for the price, jump on this. Now!
Absolutely love it. For the price and quality, it’s light-years ahead of stock. Nice responsive and clicky for the buttons and joystick. On par with sanwa and the rest of them. For under 10 bucks, it came with 5 pin very responsive 48 way joystick. 8 30mm responsive buttons and a zero delay USB encoder. No other seller has that offering that low. Jump on it now if your in the market to quickly and cost effectively upgrade.

Worked fine for an embedded project
I used the joystick and buttons in an embedded project, did not use the USB controller. They worked well, the joystick was of good quality.

Awesome cheap solution to getting a fight stick
Used this cheap kit to make a fight stick out of a Nike shoe box it worked super well suprisingly sturdy I recommend getting an application like joy2key to set this up on PC
Amazon Customer –
The joystick and buttons are clicky and responsive, and the crimps on the cables are well-done and durable. I did not use the USB board on mine (I was building a custom joystick for another game console.)Please note that the joystick is the “five-pin” connector style, rather than having individual switch spades for each direction. It’s easy to depin the connector and fix it if you want, though.
