Excellent portable computer and so versatile, fast, and practical.
This is an excellent portable computer and so versatile, fast, and practical IF you don’t buy it as a gaming laptop. I’m not a gamer but I’m a heavy business user and I’m video conferencing and slacking and creating diagrams, spreadsheets, documents, and even writing code (which I run in Linux on it) all day long. This machine is JUST what the doctor ordered for that kid of role. I’ve been a PC user, I’m a MAC user currently, but after some time with this Chromebook, I realize that 95% of everything I do I either do in a browser or can usually do it in Linux or an app.Highly recommend specifically this one and specifically if you get it at a discounts price from Amazon Resale (or whatever they call it now)

Christmas gift for my son
This was a Christmas gift for my son. He is into gaming so this was perfect! He really enjoys the touch screen. As of now, the only downfall of this laptop is the memory but we were able to get an external hard drive to fix that issue. Great product for the price!

This is not a gaming Chromebook. But this could have been a Premium Chromebook
Do not buy this with the sole intention of gaming on it. Yes it’s good for cloud gaming. Yes it’s good to run Android games. And yes, it’s good for light Steam games if you know how to enable it. Any other device is good enough for cloud gaming. Your phone, a handheld, your blood pressure machine, etc. I notice a lot of people buying it because of its price point and expecting a little bit too much in terms of gaming in my opinion. But I solely blame the marketing for this.Ignoring the gaming aspect, this is probably the best lite productivity laptop I’ve owned in a while. It’s one of the few Chromebooks on the market with specs that don’t suck. I don’t need to do anything like video or photo editing. I just needed something to carry around, connect to the internet, and get some light work done. I bought this from Amazon Warehouse in Used – Acceptable condition and it looked like it was brand spanking new.Chromebooks have earned a bad rep for its starting price point and under powered specs. But this laptop for me has changed that. Core i5 mixed with this lightweight operating system and 16GB of RAM with a (seemingly) replaceable M.2 drive ensures that I could get the most out of this purchase and it looks like the software support last until 2031. The build quality (in my opinion) is too good to be a Chromebook. It doesn’t get hot but the fan is a bit loud even when there’s no heavy load but that doesn’t bother me. Battery life is OK. I say about 6 to 8-ish hours depending on the use case. Documents, normal web browsing, etc. Anything with video, you’ll get significantly less on battery. Display is….there and that’s the nicest thing I can say about it. Ghosting even with this 144hz display is an issue and is made worse when on battery (provided that you’re using Energy Saver in Chrome). Keyboard is fine to type on but know that the layout is not a traditional Windows layout. You have no caps lock, scroll lock, num lock, F-keys, and no media keys. It looks like it’s made with ChromeOS in mind. All the other typical keys are exactly where they are supposed to be but if you attempt to load Windows on this laptop (I heard that’s possible with a workaround), you may lose functionality with the touchpad and keyboard which is a shame in my opinion in case of the potential chance that Google may one day stop supporting ChromeOS. It would be nice if there was a way forward to load this laptop with something else in the event that something like that would happen. May never happen but you never really know.In conclusion, I love this laptop. Not because of gaming. But because it has specs that don’t suck for a Chromebook. I think something like this could really set the bar for Chromebooks in general if they market it as a “premium” Chromebook and lower the MSRP. I would not pay the asking price of $700 for it which is why I’m glad I went through Amazon Warehouse for $316. If you can nab one for the same price or wait for another sale like during the holiday season, I can highly recommend this Chromebook 100%. Hopefully, I can say the same thing after a month or so.

This thing is completely unstable
I was so excited to see how far Google’s Chromebooks have come in the last 10 years, since I last had one. I’ve never been more frustrated with a computer. The limitations of working with only apps, is a painful obstruction to any promise of quality the chromebook could ever provide.

Powerful chromebook
Bought this for gaming kid who is not quite ready for PCs. He loves it. Very impressive specs to me. As far as chromebooks go, this one has a top processor, RAM, and storage capacity. Very happy with this purchase. Kids these days reside in chromeOS for school, so having one powerful enough for modest gaming and web based apps is perfect. This laptop is for chrome users and for kids who arenât quite ready for a high performance machine. Great transition laptop. Highly recommend for this or for anyone looking for a powerful chromebook that wonât get bogged down.

The gaming part of this device is based on using cloud/streaming game services
Great bang for your buck if you are into using the cloud gaming services rather than trying to keep up with upgrading your own PC. The refresh rate makes is nice with these services, great for work usage as well. Please keep in mind if you are just looking to for a cheap gaming laptop with no other cost to entry this is not it as it is built for using streaming services.

Screen is large and it renders content fast
This is a fast Chromebook. It runs any game over the GEFORCE nVidia cloud gaming service ($10 per month). It is quite heavy for a Chromebook. I noticed a huge weight in my backpack now but it is to be expected for a system like thisBe Apple and Windows free like me. Order this Chromebook.

El artÃculo llegó muy bien, pero al empezar utilizarla a los 30 minutos en la pantalla aparecieron unas lÃneas negras que iban de la mitad hacia abajo.Y lastima por que tiene buenas caracterÃsticas.
